Hearing a new voice speaking her name, Penelope looked over to see the absolutely delectable looking baked goods Arian had brought. Toffee apple + cupcake was not an equation that had ever occured to her, but she thought the results were brilliant!
Much more appealing than her own offerings, hopefully, given how little she seemed to garner interest!

Avery Hollister had been about to approach a customer, when she spotted Penelope, and waved at the girl with a bright smile.
"Hey!" It was a nice day, it was a bakesale. What was the harm in saying hello and being friendly? "You guys are doing great over there!" Unfortunately, her team was slightly more likely to eat the cupcakes than they were to sell them.Quicksilver the Archangel

When Ms. Hollister waved, Penelope was more than glad to return the friendly gesture with one of her own. The girl was not overly competitive at heart and promoting a nice environment for everyone was always for the best! "Thank you... I'm sure you'll do great too, just like in the debate!" Having such a friendly encounter with an opponent made the idea of competition a lot easier, and she shocked even herself when she convinced a customer to buy not one but TWO cupcakes! Arian hadn't had much luck on the selling front so far and he wondered if maybe baking a batch of 50 cupcakes of the same flavour had been a mistake or maybe it was the flavour - maybe the toffee apple had been a tad too far out.
Still toffee apple was what he'd gone with and it was too late to go home and bake another batch and the day was still relatively young - there was time enough to get lucky.
So with a friendly smile the dark-haired teen continued to try and sell cupcakes...
And seemed to get lucky as a passer-by snapped up a couple of his cupcakes.

"Cupcakes, get your cupcakes here!" Ian called out, in an attempt to entice the people walking past. "We've got all sorts of flavors, including vegan and gluten free!"
No takers though, but he wasn't too worried. He was doing really well so far.

"Could I interest any of you in a cupcake?" Arian asked as a few more passer-bys passed by the stall.
It seemed that cupcake buying was not on their agenda however as they drifted past the stall without buying anything.

It had occurred to Arian that he might have better luck selling cupcakes if he had some nifty slogan to go along with it.
In the end however Arian decided that he'd stick with what he was doing - a friendly smile and politely offering cupcakes to those passing by. It was dubious that he'd be able to come up with anything significantly witty and besides nifty slogans wasn't really his style.
"Could I offer you a cupcake Sir?" Another passer-by and another friendly smile.
And success! The elderly gentleman that he'd been addressing snapped up one of his cupcakes.

When a family with small children came by, Ian pulled out his best funny faces, doing what he could to make the two kids laugh. And then he remembered seeing a roll of stickers over at the end of the table. "You guys like stickers?" He tumbled over to there, and was rewarded by their laughter. He snagged them, and then tumbled back over to the children, and after getting a nod from the mother, handed them each a sticker.
Even with all of that, they moved on without buying any cupcakes, but soon after they did, a woman came up and bought one.

Azzo's favorite part of the campaign was helping with the sweets! He was talking to one customer and well it seemed he made an okay 'salesman'. He managed to sell One Cupcake(s) for Penelope Seneca!!!
