"You just going to stand there?" It came out amused, as he took another hop back -- toward the edge of the building and, in fact, escape. His arm stung, now, sharp prickles across the skin, and he wasn't even sure if that was her strongest attack. If she had worse, Al-Janah didn't really want to stick around.
Ten seconds, now. His eyes flicked up toward the bird, and then he flashed her a grin. "I can do that five times, you know."
A lie. Not that she'd know.

“Bad Blood Ribbons.” Was her most immediate reply… a wire, or fine ribbon the color of blood now snapped in the air between them.
“I don’t –have- to move.” She answered honestly. “I just need blood, and I have distance, I can do the needles till I bleed out, This is a little more limited… same for my eternal, but the eternal attack just needs –you- to bleed.” She dipped her chin and batted her eyes almost cutely, except for the fact there was a whip made of magical gore between you both.
“I suppose, if you really need to show off.” She said and stepped towards the barrier again.
If nothing else the resulting a** plant from being driven back by a falcon resulted in a tremendous flourish of layered skirts and a rather good view of boots and stockings, never mind the rather colorful language.

It got a laugh out of Al-Janah at least -- a laugh which marked his retreat, in fact, because he'd been lying his a** off. Not only couldn't he do it five times, but he couldn't even do it twice. He'd shot off his good attack, and wasn't about to shoot off the weaker, no. Not when she was distracted and he could turn tail and run, taking off into the building in search of a mirror that would get him well out of her reach.
