Pasha squeaked and lunged over the shadowling to catch George the Lucky Bamboo Plant before realizing her mistake a second too -

There is something called prioritizing, meimei. Táo reprimanded blandly. Pasha wisely chose to ignore him and swat pathetically at the thing again, plant tucked under one arm and rifle in the other.
The thing, of course, did nothing but wiggle and scramble away, skidding under her bed and disappearing into the shadows. After a long moment of awkward, halting Silence, Pasha put George the Plant back on her desk and inched towards her door. If there was one invading her room, there were probably others outside and - well, maybe she could save them, even though she really hadn't been able to save much of her room.

"YOU DON'T EAT A MAN'S GUITAR," Jerry roared down at the quivering puddle of blackness, waving the black-smattered cinderblock in the air threateningly.
The shadowy puddle opened one eye, then the other, before using it's remaining strength to bite down as hard as it could on the man's... rather un protected underpants region.
Jerry dropped the cinderblock with a pained wheeze.

The siren was more than enough to startle Ryan awake and while it was enough to wake him, it was the pair of yellow eyes staring intently at him that caught him by surprise.
A pair of yellow eyes attached to some black creature with antenna. A cockroach? Or maybe some mutated experiment that escaped the labs? Either way he was awake and there was a creature in his room and it needed to go. Only... there wasn't just one. Shortly after booting the one out of his room, Ryan found that the entire dorm was swarming with the little creatures.
Apparently Deus had a cockroach problem.

The little creature emitted a shriek when the bed got turned end over end and it scrambled to get away after getting hit by a pillow. "vile thing, you will not be forgiven!" Leon was still not getting over this breach of privacy.

Jerry gave a pained gurble, rolling onto his knees to try to wobble back to his feet.
