Food? Check. Snacks? Check. Tarp? Check. Extra haunted pens? Check. Andrew thought over his things, one more time as he approached the weeping forest. The last time he was here, he was pretty sure he had run into a particular tree repeatedly and solved a riddle.

"Do you think any of the portals might lead to the human world?" without really waiting for an answer, Andrew took off looking for a portal, tail swishing. He was very thankful this little trip didn't involve boats and so was in a much better mood than before.

Well, he was until the first portal he found lead directly to someone's house. He was pretty sure this wasn't it and went back to where he came from before he could get caught.

Come to think of it, finding a portal to such a place did make sense. The mode of transportation was very common in Halloween, she had even heard about some doors in trees. It had just hadn't crossed her mind given how little information the with had on this particular place.

She didn't like the enthusiasm in AJ's voice though, when he announced the perils that could await them. Nor did she know why she agreed to meet them an hour later with her own bag in hand (probably AJ's sweet talking, smooth words and positive feedback for her pitiful little bits of research); filled with some food just in case, a blanket just in case, a paper bag to breathe in just inc case she was on the verge of hyperventilation, a book... just in case they actually had some down time, a container just in case they found something that would aid in spells and well a few more provisions just in case.

The most important thing she had with her, was her broom. Which she summoned and gripped oh so tightly in her hands as they entered the forest. The nice.. calm peaceful forest which seemed to house portals. Maple tensed up from Andrew's question, shaking her head since she didn't know (it was possible, but didn't seem like something mere students could stumble upon without the Boogiemen). He was already off to a portal and she walked towards one herself, wondering why --

-- and right into a place that she had thought about earlier. Her eyes went wide when she found herself in the Land of Holidays, some place she wouldn't have expected to find herself so soon in her schooling. The doors, the trees. And .. the creatures, who looked down right ... hostile. In unison, it seemed they all spotted her and snapped to attention.

"Aa.." Maple backed up, spooked as they began to move towards her like small little cheerful beasts. They were smiling. But not in a way she liked. They had little red glass balls in their hands and what looked like spookies and little red and white canes. They began to advance on her in an odd sort of cheer and giggle.

"Aa!" She cried out again. Maple ran, turning as fast as she could and back towards the portal in which she came just as objects began to hurtle towards her. Ew, she had tinsel in her hair!

"Maybe, but I believe the chance of them leading to human's world will be so scarce, otherwise, the party responsible will be taking action, I think." He smiled and shrugged to Andrew.

Seeing Maple's eyebrow were frowning all the way, AJ gave her an encouraging pat on the back. "Little witch, don't worry too much, if there'll danger, I will take care of it" He gave his stuffed bag a rap, what inside it was a mystery.

"Oh I found a portal also, let's me check! Be right back~" The serpent-dragon boil jumped into the portal hole.

After a few seconds, AJ re-appeared at the portal again. "I think that's it, come over here!" He beckoned to Andrew and Maple, it seemed that they didn't need to camp out in the forest.
