User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.If that made Cosine feel better, Akakios seemed to be just as much out of the loop as she was, given the look he gave the cat, so it was likely something that Mystery had simply seen.

As his hands been free to do so, Tajne would probably have gotten swatted at again. In his mind, what he had said was true - he had not done anything specifically spectacular other than be there and be ready with arrows had had never needed to fire.

"There is no reason to be impolite, unless faced with rudeness to begin with." Oh, he could be quite rude - but saw no need to be so most of the time.

The idea of being entertained, well... The look he imagined stuck on his uncle's face was more than enough. "Im sure we can find the time, hn ?"

User ImageTaj nodded smiling. < Such a night would be welcome. > He would enjoy it and seeing Caelia again as well as meeting the other two children. Taj would shift at some point and he knew that Caelia would chase him around. It was expected whenever she was around and if Kios was busy. He liked the child's mischief.

< Augury came bearing flowers once as well as chasing the cat thru the house. Surely no gardens of her parents were dug up. > He asked, remembering the flower she had given him. < The plant resides happily in the secret garden it was placed with care. >

"Indeed Kios, indeed, and even then I prefer a well hidden barb." She smirked a little. "Rude, arrogant people rarely noticed when they were being made a fool."

"Not our garden." Cosine admitted, watching Taj write in the air. "We do not have one, I fear she dug them up in the Pantheon gardens. She gave me one too, and her brother. She will be happy to know it is flourishing." Cosine took a glance around the room they were in. "Secred gardens and libraries, it seems you have a whole world hidden away here Taj."

She smiled at Cosine's comment about having a whole world here, but did not comment aloud. If only Lady Number knew, there was much more to this place that met the eye. Asedri was quite certain not even she had found everything, despite how diligent she was in her searching.

"You would be surprised." Unlike Asedri, Lament would speak - there were so many things hidden here, and he had far from found them all - the siren's lure of the library was often too strong to ignore for Akakios - and to say he more or less lived in the library itself was no exaggeration.

User ImageTaj grinned widely at the talk of hidden things. It was what he liked to do. < Secrets are not appreciated unless hidden. A new door, a silent creature, a fluffy kitten in a basket of yarn can all become secret amusement for those within. My own son thrives on the amusement.> Or annoyance as they had been when he went to sleep in the basket and left them to babysit for a time. Although in the end, they had found him. But he honestly enjoyed having Caelia around and other children around.

"I remember it being a bit of a maze from the last time I came here, that seems like a long time ago now." A lifetime, though in reality it could only have been a few years. So much had happened. "I am sure that must be why Caelia enjoys it so much, she is inquisitve and likes to solve a mystery." At least Cosine knew her daughter would be safe hiding in these rooms. "Do you see much of my brother Tajnevaki? I have not seen him around the Pantheon for a long while, I tried to seek him out but had no luck."

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.Oh, if only Cosine knew - he had witnessed Hurricane Caelia in action in this place. It was a wonder she had not found a cart and tried to race down the spiral hallways while riding it yet.

At the mention of Cosine's brother, Akakios would remain silent. His aunt already knew that he knew as much as her on the matter - which mostly meant nothing.

"Priscilla mentioned him when I first met her. She used to live with him I think...?" Other than that she or Keme knew nothing of the other Number, they had never met him personally.

User ImageTaj shook his head at mention of Arctang. He presumed that Arc was busy most of the time. < The Dollmaker came to live with the elves, Teilil and Sha'dera under Mystery's roof before gathering Yu Five Claws hair and her own rooms with Valor's aid. Perhaps a world of fractals swims around him and he has lost track of time and others. > He was not there the last time Taj had gone to see him. The portal was still beside the waterfall but it remained unused between them.

< Lady Numbers is welcome to explore the spirals hereabouts. > One day he would invite her to the Labyrinth if she wanted to explore also. He was certain Caelia would be intrigued by it. < No doubt Augury will dance thru the Labyrinth one day when goblin work has restored its former glory. > He disappeared a few hours every few days just to spend time there making sure they were rebuilding as he wanted. Hoggle was of course as grumpy as ever.

(( XDD I want to meet Hoggle!?! *80s child* so my fave film of all time))

Cosine nodded, she had lost touch with him completely, when they had been stones they had been able to sense each other but time and evolution had changed all that.
"I hope he is well, wherever he is. A labyrinth does sound like fun. I think all the children would enjoy that. I would say Ankou too but I know he would just cheat, he enjoys disappearing at will and making us hunt him." She rolled her eyes in amusement, few got to see him in a playful mood.

((Skipping Mista on request~))

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show. The mention of Ankou cheating did make Lament smirk. "Am I supposed to be surprised ?" Maybe Tajne could keep his uncle from flying and going though walls. The labyrinth was his, after all, and Jareth had been able to keep them from flying over it.

"The idea of Caelia loose in the labyrinth kinds of worry me, though. We might find it back in pieces." That mental image did get a light chuckle out of Lament.

User ImageTaj grinned widely as if understanding. < In the labyrinth all are subject to Mystery's discretion. > If they came to visit once the maze was recreated, then he could ensure that Ankou could not cheat but would have to go thru everything as the rest did. It could be an interesting outing for the children and their parents.

< The maze has always been in pieces that shift, move, everchanging. No path is set except Mystery's. > The maze had always been at the Timekeeper's demand and changed slowly or rapidly according to what was needed. The thought of the Timekeeper stopped him. Where was that one? He might have to see if he could find him.

Yes, Caelia's wanderings would be a problem in a place she could very easily get lost.
"Perhaps we could get her a lead or something." The goddess replied, only half joking. A piece of string that would give her enough room to run but meant she wouldn't get lost always seemed like a good idea.

She had passed through the labyrinth a handful of times unaided, mostly for the sake of research. Those had indeed been very interesting adventures.

"At least until she decided to try and tangle you up in it." Caelia was a child who never seemed to run out of energy after all.
