RP Sample: The shrill ring of the alarm clock had begun to sound. As usual, Amy didn’t want to hear it. Regardless, she had to get up, because it was time for school. Smacking the button that shut that damnable contraption off, she arose from her bed, yawning loudly. In a shuffle, she made her way to the bathroom, and then looked at herself in the mirror. “Ugh, I need to stop sleeping on my head…” Her hair was a mess.
As the water began to flow in her shower, she pondered about what happened the day prior. She had made an utter fool of herself at school, and worse yet, embarrassed herself in front of the guy that she had a major crush on. Malcolm Dupree had to be the dreamiest guy around. It was as if the sun had decided to crown such a handsome specimen, as his hair was a magnificent shade of gold that a girl would kill for, and can’t even come close to having a dye job anywhere close to it.
Stepping in the shower, Amy let the warm water begin to flood her slender frame. As she began to wash her long, auburn hair, she began to think of those sparkling blue eyes that graced such a gorgeous face. She couldn’t help but smile, her cheeks beginning to burn from the idea. Once she was done in the shower, she began to dry off, and then wrapped the towel around her hair, making sure to tuck every stray strand into it.
Going down the stairs dressed in her school uniform, Amy made her way into the kitchen, picking up one of the pieces of toast that were on the plate in the center of the table. Her mother was at the sink, washing some dishes that her younger brother decided not to wash last night. “Hope you slept well honey. Your brother decided he would be lazy last night.” Frowning, Amy shrugged and swallowed the bite of toast she had in her mouth. “You knew he was going to do that. Why even stress about it?” She turned, giving her daughter a coy smile. “I just guess he’ll have to go without that new game system for a while, hmm?”
Grinning, Amy finished what she ate, and then rushed back up the stairs, taking the towel off her head. While brushing her teeth in a hurry, Amy decided she would dry start combing her hair out. When she hit a snag, she nearly gagged on her toothbrush before putting the brush down and then spat out the toothpaste. That was such a shining moment in her morning highlights. Once that was all done, she placed her glasses over her face, looking at herself in the mirror. To some, they would say she was a stunning beauty. To herself, all she saw was an awkward dork who made an a** of herself the day before.
Running out to the bus, Amy looked over her shoulder to see her brother flying out the door, looking like a mess in his uniform. She rolled her eyes, and then stepped onto the bus, seeing that most of the places were filled up once again. The only spots available was next to Billy Crystof, and….she nearly fainted when she saw the seat next to Malcolm was open. She couldn’t sit there though! Not after what happened yesterday. Before she realized it, her brother knocked her down as he rushed onto the bus, and the laughter began. “Oops! Sorry sis! You gotta stop just standing around like you do!”
Looking up, Amy saw to her horror that Matt decided to sit next to Billy, which meant…Getting back up and then recomposing herself, she let out a huff as she made her way to the empty spot. The other girls were glaring daggers at her, but she had no other choice. “Umm, hey there…Malcolm. I’m sorry to bother you, but there is no other places for me to sit and I….” Amy was already becoming flustered, and she was making herself look like a fool once again. But to her shock, Malcolm smiled, and then patted the seat next to him. There were faint gasps from some of the other girls, but all Amy could think about was that her wildest dream was becoming a reality. It was on that bus ride that she learned he had always liked her, and thought she could never make herself look foolish. From that day on, Malcolm and Amy could be seen riding the bus together, in the same seat, hands interlaced.

RP Sample: Sarukin sighed to himself. Looks like today is the day I die. The notion seemed almost surreal to Sarukin. He...He was going to die today. There was no way around it. When he decided to take on this A-Rank mission he wasn't quite sure what to expect. All that was told to him was that he needed to protect a stupid vase. Travel with it from Sunagakure to Konohagakure and make sure nothing happened to it. It seemed easy enough. So easy, in fact, that Sarukin had decided to do the mission alone. Help was offered, but it was refused by the proud jounin. The mission sounded easy enough. The man sighed. Who would have thought that my pride would end up killing me.
Sarukin quickly got out of his thoughts and analyzed the situation at hand. They were in the forests of the Fire Country somewhere, but not close enough to Konohagakure to signal for help. Sarukin was traveling with three people; two archaeologists who were studying the vase, and a man who provided the group with the horse. Sarukin knew that one of the archaeologists had died during the attack. The thought was so native to him that he barely batted an eye. Death was a common thing in the shinobi world. That was it. Protect the vase at all costs. People come afterwards. The sand jounin held the case in his right hand, and as he scoured the trees for his two other traveling companions, he started to worry. Four rouge shinobi had attacked the group, and Sarukin was sure that at least two of them were A-ranked criminals. With only one hand t fight, and two liabilities to take care of, Sarukin didn't exactly hold all of the advantages. His head quickly turned once he heard a kunai approaching him. He moved to the side and scanned quickly. His eyes locked on to his assailant. Gotcha.
Vase still held in his right hand, Sarukin leapt towards the rouge nin. The criminal had obviously been surprised at the jounin's speed, and a strong kick to his chest had sent the rouge ninja tumbling down from the branch he was standing on. Sarukin chased him downward, and after pulling a kunai from his pouch with his left hand, dug it into the man's stomach. The two bodies - one now limp - fell to the floor at the same time. Sarukin checked the condition of the vase. He relaxed a bit. Ok. That's one.
The man decided to attempt o get some backup. Maybe, if Sarukin was lucky, Konohagakure would have some shinobi on duty at its gate, or maybe a random shinobi squad would be training outside the village. Sarukin, truthfully, just needed something. Anything. He set up explosion tags around a few trees, and, once he was sure he was in safe distance, exploded them all at one time. The explosions were loud, and were sure to catch the attention of any stragglers nearby. However, it would also bring the criminals to Sarukin's location. It was a gamble, but a necessary one. Flames roared up as the trees fell down one by one. Sarukin couldn't get too close to the flames; they would crack the vase and make this mission all for not. He just needed to stick with taijutsu for a while and hope for some help.
His prayers were answered when one of the three remaining rouge nin came out of the flames and charged for him. This one, Sarukin mused, was one of the A-ranked criminals. The woman got close to Sarukin and threw a few punches. Sarukin bobbed his head back and forth, dodging most of the punches. One, however, landed on his chest, and he was sent flying back a few feet. The woman followed up with a sideways kick to his neck. The sand jounin switched the vase to his left hand, and used his right to counter the kick. He held the woman's leg in his hand, and squeezed. The woman cried out in pain, but Sarukin wasn't done yet. He threw up the vase in the air, and quickly released a volley of punches to the woman's stomach. She fell down, the wind knocked out of her, and Sarukin caught the vase just as it was falling down. He stayed alert. There were two more attackers. His punches had knocked the woman down, but she would be up in a few minutes; she wasn't A-ranked for nothing. He looked around, breathing heavily. This is the day you die, Sarukin. The jounin looked to his right, and saw a few figures coming out of the forests. "Here goes nothing." He tensed up his legs to attempt a few kicks, but stopped once he saw the green shinobi jackets headed his way. These were leaf shinobi. Like, 12 leaf shinobi. 12 strong leaf shinobi. The man almost fell down in joy, but he remembered that he wasn't out of the clear yet. He had this vase to deliver. He looked to the leaf shinobi and started speaking. "OK, so here's the situation."

RP Sample:
Koikawa greedily chugged his last bottle of sake and removed the nozzle from his wet lips. He exhaled loudly with a satisfied grin on his scarred face; the carbon dioxide that was released was coated in the smell of alcohol and the unfortunate genin who had walked into the fumes gagged at the odor, covering her mouth and falling to her knees.
”S-Sensei!” she choked out, causing the group to stop their walk and wait for her to heal. Her face was turning green with disgust as she added, ”Stop drinking on the job!”
Koikawa looked curiously down at her and then glanced at the sake bottle in his hand, wondering what was so wrong with a little alcohol. A second genin, Takashi, walked beside Koikawa and threw his puny arm around the jounin’s broad shoulders with a toothy smile.
”Aw, come on, Okiku! Let the guy have a drink after a long day in the smoldering heat!” the genin defended Koikawa, but then his smile turned dark and his eyes glimmered in admiration as he reached for the sake bottle. ”Can I have some?”
The jounin was about to hand over the nearly empty bottle when he paused, noticing how young Takashi looked. Koikawa grinned at the attempt and placed his large hand on Takashi’s head, ruffling his shaggy black hair. ”You almost got me that time! Too bad you’re a minor. I’d like to have a drink with you someday, Takashi.” Koikawa’s offer brought upon a face on Takashi that resembled sincere happiness and astonishment. The jounin continued to rub the genin’s hair when the third genin, Yusuke, shifted uncomfortably a few feet away.
”Anooo...” Yusuke began nerviously, his eyes scanning the surrounding area. ”I don’t mean to ruin the moment, but where are we?”
Koikawa looked up to find that he and his squad were no longer in the scorching heat of Sunagakure’s desert, but within a lush forest, surrounded by various animal noises. The jounin’s face immediately dropped, as did his jaw, and blue depression lines appeared below his eye. The tree leaves and the sun created puzzles of light and although Koikawa had never seen anything so beautiful, the sake bottle slipped from his hand and thudded to the grassy ground.
Okiku jumped to her feet and nearly tore her hair out in frustration. ”Where the heck are we?!” She proceeded to stomp over to Koikawa, who backed up, afraid of the puny girl who, he was sure, would rip his head off. ”Look what you’ve done, Sensei! How does someone get lost in a desert and end up in a forest?!”
”Ok, ok, ok, ok,” Koikawa repeated quickly, waving his hands back and forth in front of his body. ”The last thing we should do is panic! We just have to stay calm.”
As if on cue, an enormous shadow loomed over the jounin. Hell, it loomed over everything in sight. Koikawa watched how drastically his squads’ faces changed from frustrated to complete and utter terror. The jounin wasn’t sure whether to turn around or not, but his curiousity got the better of him. He spun slowly on his heel to face the other direction with sweat dripping down his face in hundreds of little drops in a comical way. His katana clanged lightly against each other from his slow movement and his expression didn’t match his nervous sweat and trembling. His face expressed boredom, even apathy. Obviously, this was simply a façade as his eyes made contact with another pair of red, gleaming eyes nearly twenty feet in the air. However, it stood completely still, save the shallow and visible breathing.
”Se…n…sei…” Yusuke muttered so quietly that Koikawa wasn’t sure if he heard it or if it was just his imagination. The boy was frozen, as were the other squad members. Koikawa was just as daunted as them until he realized something. He grinned and allowed his tense body to loosen. The jounin laughed loudly and haughtily as he walked over to the creature and placed his hand on its furry stomach. He saw his squads’ faces jump in shock at his movements. Koikawa patted the stomach hard, finding it oddly warm.
”No worries! It’s not really a bear! It’s just one of those scarecrows to scare off those pesky birds from eating the villagers’ crops!” Koikawa explained his reasoning, but his squad ceased to move and laugh with him. A cold sweat had broken out on their faces and Koikawa put his hands on his knees and hunched over from laughing so hard. ”You all should see your faces! You look so dumb!” Ironically, the shadow in front of him moved and the jounin immediately stopped laughing. He looked up to see only mirages of dust where his squad members used to stand and he turned around to find the scarecrow had raised its claws and glared menacingly at the prey before him. Koikawa’s half-smile twitched nervously at the realization that it was indeed a hungry bear. The jounin was able to warn the surrounding animals of a bear by yelling its name comically; causing a flock of birds to fly away into the sky from the loudness, and then the bear was upon him.

RP Sample: (1209/750) The crimson sunset sparkled on the horizon. The trees howled in defiance to the never-ending gusts of wind. Winding itself, the grass swayed back and forth. Clouds descended from the heavens to strike with the fury of the cold blooded fire, with the sounds of drumming booms. Unable to get the momentum of the elements at work, Seiko stopped to take a breather on a nearby tree. Looking back to see if he was being followed, he moved his hair out of his eyes. Curse this hair he thought to himself. Nothing seemed to stir. It sure was quiet other than the thunder about to move in. Quickly, he pushed his small backpack up against the tree where it connected with the tree branch. Slipping his petite hands into the bag, Seiko pulled out a small scroll. The scroll was light but had a seal on it that not many could break at this juncture. Swiftly, he broke the seal and unraveled it. The code would take him several minutes to decode. That much time, nearly impossible to achieve with the hounds of Konoha behind him. The beating heart thrummed in a rhythmic sequence. There was definitely no time. In haste, he stuffed the scroll back into his bag and swung it back across his shoulder. His ears twitched, almost instinctively he jumped off the branch to the left. Barely escaping a accurately thrown kunai. Seiko landed with a quiet thud on the ground, as his knee first made contact to with the soft mud. Now the rain started, it came in light amounts. A new raindrop hitting his face every second. Seiko shifted trying to heighten his perception. Though to no avail. He could not detect the enemy.
Another kunai pierced the sky, the master of assassins had once again try to strike him. Jumping back into the air, Seiko gripped a shuriken from his back. This shuriken was much larger than a normal shuriken. A rumble of earth split the ground in an all out strike. Without hesitation, he threw his shuriken at a tree that laid 50 feet away. Connected to this shuriken was a specially made chain. The shuriken reached its target and gripped onto it. Using the small gauntlet he had on his hand, it retracted. However, the force of the shuriken was much stronger than the gauntlet. It flung Seiko to the tree. As far as he knew there were four on his trail. His comrades had already died. It was up to him to deliver this scroll to Sunagakure. The earth had missed its intended target. Out from the ground rose a Konoha shinobi, it was now or never. Though he had to wait for at least two more shinobi to show up. If he revealed his techniques now it could be detrimental to him. Using the force from the shuriken, he released some slack and flung him to a different tree. All at the same moment, he pressed a button on the gauntlet. The gauntlet opened up and released Seiko's fragile hand. The force was much greater than he anticipated, and he slammed into a different tree. Dazed for a few seconds, he looked back at the Konoha shinobi who at this point was nearly upon him. His ears twitched once again and a cloud of black beetles buzzed near him. Revealing another shinobi, a bug user. From behind him another Shinobi jumped from a tree. "Give it up. You are surrounded." his voice possessed a drawl that was much to Seiko's disliking. Though they never did realize that they were exactly where he wanted them.
He licked his lips, they were a bit dry. The rain seemed to have stopped. This must have been a little spray they expected. Time to show them why I am called 'The Sun Dragonfly'. Seiko leaped into the air, using a bit of chakra as an extra boost. Each of the Shinobi before him were in perfect sight. However, his jumping in the air made the others follow him. That was their mistake."ScorchRelease:ExtremelySteamingMurder!" Three balls of blazing yellow and orange fire now surrounded Seiko. Without a hint of hesitation, he fired all three of them. Each one targeted a different shinboi. The earth Shinobi called forth from the ground a rock pyramid to prevent the "sun" orb from hitting him. While the insect shinobi hid among his insects. His black hair vanished from sight. The third shinboi made a few handsigns that Seiko could not make out. these handsigns apparently made him invisible. Dammit, how in the hell did they avoid this technique when they're so close to me. He thought. This time he flicked his wrist and the orb twirled around the pyramid dodging the Earth shinobi's intended block. The fire ball hit his back; his face flushed. The water inside him evaporated at a very swift rate. He fell to the ground, dried up. A mummy looked better. Though only paying attention to the shinobi became his mistake. A swarm of insects attacked him from behind. The technique was not made for insects or animals, even though he could use it for that and such. Seiko fell back to the ground, concentrating he dodged the swarm. In which all they did was charge him, much like a lance. The bug user was no longer in the swarm that he commanded. Seeing the opening, Seiko launched another orb. The sun hit him full forced, pushing him to the ground. Another one was dead. Trying to jump in the air to find where the third ninja was, he fell to the ground. His legs were part of the ground. When did this happen? Thinking to himself, the first one manipulated Earth, but was long destroyed before I fell. The second one manipulated insects, but he too fell short. The third one is a surveillance type. Invisibility and Genjutsu. Though Seiko knew he was not in an illusion. Then it hit him. The fourth Shinobi!
Quieting his mind, he reached into his back bag and pulled out a kunai. He stabbed the ground below him. It erupted for the mud splashed all over Seiko. Though the final shinobi revealed himself. His legs did not become the mud, they were pulled down and held there by the anbu. Spinning around, he kicked the shinobi and raced into the forest once again. One orb still following him, luckily he pulled it back at the last second. The rush of this mission seemed to have steamed him. This proved he was not ready to fight his father. How he longed to save his sister from his cruelty. Shaking his head, he realized now would not be the time to think of family. He spun around now running backward. The two shinobi were on his trail. Quickly, he launched his last sun at the earth shinobi. The invisibility jutsu had worn off, however the man leaped in front of the jutsu to protect his superior officer. Seiko smirked. The orb split into two. The first have struck the invisibility specialist, whilst the second slipped past him finishing off the other shinobi. Gasping for air, he worked his way back to Sunagakure to return from his mission.
