Otto's grin faded, as it always did soon after it took a rare trip out, shrugging at Lex's comment. "If yer offerin'..."
And he did indeed kick him in the shin.
"There. Even. Sap." Otto sassed and grouched, but he was somehow comfortable. Loosening up ever slowly, interacting became easier. Friendships grew stronger. While he wouldn't come out and say so, he really did feel like he had a friend in Lex. Age just didn't matter so much at Deus.

Wincing in anticipated pain, Lex was ready for the kick, balancing himself on a nearby rock so as to not fall flat on his face again. Floor him once, shame on Otto. Floor him twice? Shame on Lex.
"Ugh, you got a mean foot." He smiled, rubbing the offended shin. Hopefully that wouldn't bruise. "That's your last free hit, alright?"

Otto felt smug, having gotten another good hit in. "Hmm.. sure. Last free hit. Got it." Otto said with a knowing tone, slyly moving forward once more.

Lex gave a little snort as he followed Otto, keeping a good few inches behind him. "So, back to the whole point of this conversation, you need dating advice for Eva." A thoughtful chin tap, and a smile. "Just be how you always are with her - and maybe take her to a nice restaurant when you get a day off. I'm sure she'd appreciate it."
Then again, Eva would probably squeal in delight if Otto took her to McDonald's. She was just the type of girl to appreciate any kind of thought or care given to her. He'd rather his 'little sister' eat wood grilled salmon than mystery meat, though.
"Oh, and one more thing. I know you'll treat her like the princess she is, but if you ever make her cry." He didn't have to finish the sentence.

Otto shrugged. "I'll try not to make her cry, but I can't make promises. I'll just be super careful, 'aight?" He knew he was blunt, and not the most sensitive of people. However he would always make more of a conscious effort if Eva was concerned in the matter. "You get ten free hits if I do."
