When did you become we?
"They do," Ariane agreed quietly as she hopped off the bed, "And it wouldn't work if one side's not up to it." It was obvious who she was referring to - and it was not Jude.
Slipping back into her shoes, she then picked up the bag belonging to Eva. She paused at the door, looking back at her friend with a grin, like she was trying to pretend that they didn't just get into a high tension "argument", "I'll drop by again soon~ Don't make it weird, Judy!"

Jude stared at her for a long moment. He wanted to say something more as she left but the words didn't come to him. The young man wanted to grab her and tell her that it'll be okay and that they would work this out just give it a chance.
Instead he just lifted a hand and waved, "Yeah."
Stupid.
Why did this suddenly feel like highschool again? He moved to sit down at his desk to try and wash away his thoughts with more paperwork and writing.
