Once they were in the scarecade, Jericho felt an incredibly vague sense of familiarity. There was something about the atmosphere, but it wasn't like he felt that he had been here before.
"You play games. Is there supposed to be something more to this place?" he asked while raising a brow.

"Each game is different... But knowing you, you'll probably pick it up real quick as we go along," Lizzy replied with a soft chuckle, weaving through the different brightly lit machines to reach two connected ones near the back of the arcade. The sign on it, as well as the screen, reads 'Time Cryptic 4'.
"... Oh, they have a four now?" She seemed surprised at the fact as she inserted a few coins into the coin slot, enough for them to start the game with two players, "Looks like we're both new to the game then!"

Moving up to the machine, Jericho could see a pair of guns. It seemed pretty simple enough, given that Lizzy had mentioned 'shooter'. Picking up one of the guns, he read the instructions quickly. Oh. There was a foot pedal too. He didn't notice that at first.
Good thing he didn't blaze past things then.
When the game began, he took aim and began firing.

Lizzy read the instructions too, and was glad to see that not much had changed regarding the game play; the only major change was how they could apparently change weapons now, as they pick them up.
Not that she did. Too many things to press and point and shoot and step on.
When the game ended, each player's score was shown on the screen, and to her delight, her score was higher than Jericho's. However, as happy as that made her, the fact that she was playing a game with an old - well, old new - friend made the experience even more enjoyable... How long had it been? A year?
"Next game?" She asked, grinning at the dragon, "Or rematch?"

The game was thrilling, to say in the least, and he got pretty into it. Though, he felt a slight sense of disappointment when he saw that Lizzy managed to come out with more points than himself. He was going to need to up his game a bit.
"I call a rematch!" he said with a grin.
This was pretty fun. He liked it. And so, there was another.

Lizzy was fine with a rematch; it had been some time since she last played a game in the scarecade anyway, and she had forgotten how fast seeds could disappear when you're having fun.
"I don't think it's quite your day," She smiled sheepishly, and patted Jericho on his forehead. Her attention was then captured by the DDR machine near the center of the scarecade, where someone was furiously dancing away to loud, fast-paced music; he had his hands on the bar behind the machine, and his feet were moving so fast that she couldn't completely follow their movements.
She would probably need more than just two legs to- Wait, nevermind.
Although DDR wasn't a thing she would usually go for - especially since there would usually be a small crowd of people watching - she was pretty curious about what Jericho might look like on the "dance floor"... Now to see if he was resistant to the idea.
"How about that one next?" She asked as casually as possible, pointing to the DDR machine.

Jericho frowned as he lost again. It seemed he wasn't really too good at video games. Then again, he didn't really have a personal frame of reference for how things were before. Maybe he had improved. Maybe he got worse. It was really hard to say how things had changed for him, personally.
"Huh? What's that?"
The dragon turned towards the DDR machine and tilted his head. He could see arrows on the ground, and arrows on the screen.
"Uh... how exactly do you play that?"
He wasn't adverse to doing it. He just.. wasn't really sure what he was supposed to do.

"See how he's stepping on the arrows on the ground according to the arrow on the screen?" Lizzy asked, pointing at the floor of the machine before pointing at the screen, "Well, that's basically how you play. He's doing a really fast song though, which is difficult... We could try with a slower song later? He doesn't seem to be stopping anytime soon."
... Maybe they could play 'Whack a human' while they wait.

Jericho watched the guy playing the game. Oh. That looked pretty... tricky actually. He wasn't quite sure if he was coordinated enough for that, but he was willing to give it a shot.
"Yeah we can try that when he's done. Umm... do you want to do something else in the meantime?"

Lizzy was waiting for this moment.
"That one," She grabbed Jericho's arm, and pulled him towards the machine; having gone through the hands of many monsters, it was pretty beat up - but the fact that it was still here meant that it was fully operational, "You take the hammer, and whack at the figures as they pop out of the hole... Sounds easy enough?"
She inserted two seeds into the slot, and decided to demonstrate it instead, since that would probably make things clearer for him. She did pretty well, but at the end of it, her arm was pretty tired from all the whacking it had to do. With a smile, she handed the hammer to Jericho.

When they went over to the next game, Jericho watched and nodded. It was simple enough. He soon took the mallet, looking the thing over. It certainly had been used plenty.
Then, he got ready and went and tried to smack as many figures as he could as they popped out.
Quite frankly, he did.... very poorly.

... It was really not Jericho's day.
"We all have our off days," Lizzy cut in, tugging him towards the direction of the DDR machine, since it was now empty, "After you?"

"I'm.. starting to think I'm just not really good at these," Jericho said while furrowing his brow. But soon they were headed towards teh DDR machine. Either he was going to do... soso or he was going to make a complete mess of things.
He hoped it wasn't the latter.
"Alright..." he said while he prepared himself and went up to the dance pad.
"..Ready when you are."

"You used to be better," Lizzy assured him, "But you also played a lot of games... So maybe it's just a matter of practicing? I mean, when we first met, you were the one who had to do all the introductions as to what video games were."
When the music started, she begun stomping on the arrows on the floor, barely paying attention to the rhythm of the music.
