Jordan snorted. "If you really want to bulk up, maybe ask Leon for tips, he seems to be into that. But some of us just aren't built to be bodybuilders, you know? Gaining too much mass might throw off your balance or flexibility. You're used to yourself like you are." He shrugged. "But I guess you could learn, right?"
He decided not to mention that Ferros thought the idea was really very funny.

"I don't mean like BODY BUILDER" He gave an illustrative set of jazzhands, "But I mean... it's bad enough I have the complexion of a burn victim, but I didn't even really notice how bad stuff like this was," He gave a pat to his neck where it bent, "Until whatever-that-was." He shook his head with a sigh.
Then cleared his throat, blushing heavily as he scrambled to chance subjects, "About the boobytraps... I don't know. A team might help but I mean... we could TRY it just the two of us if you want. I feel like the chances of us getting blown up are just as bad if there's two of us as if there's six of us. I still haven't been able to explore the damn place. There's that auditorium and I mean... there could be a music room!"

Jordan shook his head, smiling, but deciding not to comment further. Probably unhelpful.
"I feel like we should at least bring along somebody who's cleared for bandages," he pointed out. "If we're going to get blown up a few times, and we probably will. I do want to find out what's in there. There's got to be a couple of classrooms that could be co-opted for gatherings and stuff, some offices, maybe a small kitchen, that'd be helpful. Or at least a room with a sink, we could bring in a couple of hot plates."

"Yeah," Jerry still was looking dejected, caught up in their valentine's day adventure before shaking his head. "Ah... well. I suppose you could nab Harrison. If ah... he'd be game? I'm not cleared for bandages yet. I'm not sure who else is cleared for them." Besides Sasha and maybe Wash. Both of which he hadn't seen in ages.

"I'm sure he could be convinced," Jordan said cheerfully. "Hm, I wonder if Robert might be talked into helping. If we mention explosions and cookies, maybe."

"Robert? Yeah ah... I suppose..." Jerry frowned. The last time he had asked Robert to help cover them Harrison had come home torn to shreds. Granted that had been Jerry's failure to lead properly and direct them but...
It didn't matter. Jordan would be the one orchestrating things. It was for the best.

"We could ask around in general. There must be a few people who'd be willing to help clear the place out. For bribes, if nothing else," Jordan shrugged.

"Y-yeah... probably a good idea. Especially people who have done this sort of thing before. I ah. Just have experiences of nearly getting my arm blown off. Thank god for Fear Shields, right? Ahahahaha." He stalked around, scoping the dark, graffiti encrusted windows.
Even if they did manage to get the place de-bugged, it was going to take a whole team to clean the place up.
It reminded him of a lot of the old public schools he had seen in the shadier parts of North Philly. "I don't know what I could bribe with. Besides music lessons. Most of my pay has been docked for ah... casual damages." He flushed, "I've been better lately but they still add up."

"That's for sure." Jordan exchanged a brush of grateful mental affection with Ferros. "They're lifesavers." The school was definitely going to take some cleaning up, but with a few people working on it, he decided, it would be doable. Once the basic stuff was done and word got around that this was happening, they could probably rope more people into helping.
He angled an eyebrow at Jerry. "Duty trades, commodities, depends on the person, really," he said thoughtfully. "It works best if you tailor your offer to your audience."

"Oh! That is true..." Jerry considered, brightening up a smidge as he folded his arms and considered the building ahead of them. "And Rin and I found the circuit breaker, but whatever's going on in there... ah... I'm not the best electrician but um. Should make it er... Well, flickery-er, but more lit than not lit. Ahahaha..." He was better about his phobias, but that didn't mean they didn't still bother him.
Suck it up.
After all this time dancing around this building, there actually was light at the end of the tunnel.

"That's probably a good idea," Jordan mused. "It'll help make the traps more visible, anyway. Where is it, inside or outside?" He studied the building. It looked pretty messed up, but if they could fix it up, they could keep it that way. It was at least worth a try.

"Inside, there's like a maintenance room. Some of the cleaning supplies were still usable, although ah... most of it was really old. And a bit crusty." Jerry pondered for a moment before brightening up. "We can make fliers maybe! Unless you think word-of-mouth is better? But it might get the people who ah... don't need bribes ahah."

"Fliers would be good. There's a bulletin board in the laundry room, and we could put one in the cafeteria," Jordan mused. Then he blinked as something occurred to him. "Hey, we could see if Allan would be interested in helping," he suggested. "Since this is a project that'll benefit the division as a whole."

Jerry brightened, then his expression hardened a moment as he considered it. "Ah... I'm not sure how much experience he has had with ah... boobytrap removal though- not that I don't respect our leader! Well.. he would be a welcome addition, in any case!" He smiled nervously.
He just hoped it wouldn't lead to more costumes.

"He might know who else to ask, if nothing else," Jordan mused. "We'll need to time this so we can get a team in on it and work around duty and training schedules. But I guess the first task will be to ask around and see who might be interested in helping out. I'll see who I can find, maybe ask on Twitter. Would you work up a flyer or two?"
