Edward took the bowl into his hands and voraciously chomped down on the soup held within. It tasted quite good, even though he could not tell what it was. He gulped it down rather quickly and wiped his mouth off. "I'm leaving you should come with me so I don't get lost."

Turning away from her he walked out the restaurant's door thinking, "I'll let her pay for this one since I don't have cash here."

Edward followed her and wondered what could possibly be in the buildings she had pointed at. He wanted to find a way to get home as soon as possible. He could only hope this place she was leading him really could get him home.

Edward walked through the double doors and listened to Lina speak before walking up to a stammering receptionist voicing her name. "Um, my name is Edward Elric. I'm from another world and I'm not supposed to be here." he whispered softly. He did not want people to freak out about him, especially those in the library. In his world, Central City had a library and there one could check out books on whim, except that there were certain forbidden documents on the philospher's stone and other subjects that most could not access. One had to be a high ranking military official, like he was, as a major in the State Alchemist forces he was a dog of the military with some power, but actually not a lot in the overall scheme of things. Especially when it came to research on the philosopher's stone's darker secrets. Human lives were never listed as a requirement for any of the documents speaking of it.

They did not want people going into a panic. That is, if they ever found out it existed. So the military of Edward's world had kept this information shuttered except to a very select few.

"Thank you, Rubia," Edward said. He then stepped back and let Lina come forward. He figured if anyone should be leading him or interacting with anyone it should be her since she apparently knew the people he was speaking to.

Edward tried his best to listen in on the conversation Lina and Rubia were having, yet as he leaned in and held his hand to his ear he could not hear them. They were saying things like philosopher's stone this and that, but he was unsure if they really had one here. He needed an answer as quickly as possible since he remembered back onto an important thing about using the stones. Their powers only worked temporarily or had a certain number of uses based on how many souls were put into the stone before hand. These souls acted to magnify its powers and make the blood red stone work.

When Edward was suddenly transported into the new room by Rubia his eyes squinted as he was suddenly drawn to the darkness around him and then a strange orb at the center of the room. It's ruby red coloring and tremendous size made him gawk. It looked to be three times bigger than a regular philosopher's stone.

"Just-just how many people did you have to kill to make that thing." he croaked as tears streamed from his eyes while he pointed at the rock. "It's, it's too much- I can't use that thing." He didn't know if souls powered their philosopher stones in Atlas. Yet he was not about to find out with his own abilities. If he did he would probably hear the screams of many people come out of it and make him paralyzed.

"So then can Ms. Lina here then send me home?" Edward asked in an annoyed tone as his eyes shifted to Rubia. "As you have heard my version of this stone uses souls and if I don't get back home hundreds of thousands, no millions, of people will die when just one of these gets made."

He clenched his fists and waited for Lina and Rubia to answer him.

(Let's make up the name of the world for Amestris, since it's the name of a country. I'm not good at that and I'm not sure what the name of the actual world Ed lives in is, since they never give out the name for the world he lives in. All the action takes place in one country with foreigners mostly coming and going through Amestris for various reasons. Most likely, a failure with using alchemy or a a philosopher's stone sends someone to the gate of truth which is an empty world of white light where this dark being with a single eye lives. It's like a giant octopus creature?)

Edward listened to her long chant and rolled his eyes while saying, "If you need the world I live in it's Calldonia."
