"Well your home is very nice," Lily offered before hauling herself up into the chair she was admiring so much. She was almost immediately able to feel a very slight groove from where he sat. "Mmmm... so luxurious! Are you a noble in this world?" She looked back at him with half-lidded eyes. She wanted to curl up and nap right there.

Zar wasn't too pleased about his personal chair being commandeered, but tentative politeness won out."No. My family is very wealthy but I am not. And we are from low in the relative demonic ladder. It is the Sins who are the truly noble ones, and they are generally not slow to remind us of that fact."
He placed the last of the paper away and sat on one of the other less used chairs in the room, eyeing her thoughtfully. "As a demon, what you come into being as says a great deal about where you will end up for the rest of your existence. There is not a great deal of upward mobility. "

Lily offered Zar a weary little smile, "We aren't as different as I first suspected; you and I." She dragged her fingertips gently across one of the chairs armrests, "Demons sound similar to horsemen..." Lily then perked up a bit to turn in the chair and lounge across it while the front of the chair faced Zar, "I appreciate your hospitality... is it my turn yet to return the favour?"

"It is not really hospitality, I am hardly a diligent host. My room is not equipped to entertain, simply to work in. " He scanned the impeccably tidy room briefly. "Well. That is not one hundred percent correct, it is equipped for selective entertainment. The type one simply requires a bed for."
His tail flicked at his hooves thoughtfully. "Other than that however, no. And there is no requirement for you to have to return the favour, we just need to get you home."

"More diligent than most," Lily remarked while watching him lazily. She looked a bit confused however by his implications, "Hmm? Like... jumping?" She knew damn well what he meant though. She however lit up at his remark of helping her home, "I can make you tea! And you can meet my brother!"

"Yes. Exactly like jumping." he lied, waving a claw vaguely, if she didn't catch on he was in no mood to press her with explanation. Not to mention he had no idea of horsemen customs or interactions short of their machinations to destroy everything and the arrogance of the individuals in charge.
"Tea?" It had been a while since he'd tasted proper tea, and it didn't sound half bad, meeting her brother however was somewhat more worrying, there was no guarantee he'd be as agreeable as his sibling, but it was a risk he just had to take.
He got up. "Ready to leave then?"

Lily sliiiiiiid from the chair almost huffily. She did not want to leave it... but she did need to show her brother her new friend! Maybe he could be his friend, too? A gal could hope. "Yes!" She answered both of his questions at once as she moved towards his door then looked over at him expectantly.

Zar wandered over to her, and nodded, blank as he could manage, giving away nothing of his anxieties and uncertainties. He strode past her, tail brushing against her of its own accord, and headed in the direction of the exit. He knew the location of the four clans reserve better than he knew the layout of the school campus, he had always seen them as more of a threat than anything else.
"You should probably be more mindful when you next go for a walk. Getting lost is never a good thing."
