She rolled her eyes. "Oh, my apologies. You have to have the right amount of cockiness." She wandered now if that was a shot at her gender and looked him up and down. Possibly. She was not going to make any judgements currently.

 having been busy the whole time and was deciding to look at the doors control panel and the guy returns with 2 steel caps that have chains going down to boots and thimble tipped gloves that also cross like a 't' and hands them over while i talk him into compensation for fixing the blasted door again "sorry about the long wait, it is rather busy here constantly, guess the foreman is out on his own vacation or something shall we look into making some stuff soon or would yall like to see the airship?"not long after asking what they would like to do now that they are cleared to walk around without getting electrocuted there is a bashing metal against metal sound while there is a dragging sound as well suddenly we see the cause being Caitlin dragging a rod across the ground to keep the electricity from striking her and she literally jumps down 3 floors and everyone ((except erebus and maybe Isaac)) erebus curls up against a wall pulling the shield up and she lands right on him leaving a crushing footprints and warps his armor all the way to the elbow ((got locked into place against the wall with her weight "evening Isaac, see you got your ship running... EREBUS!! HERES A MAIL INVOICE FOR THE FOREMAN!!"she chunks the cylinder landing it perfectly on erebus's horn she makes a flat jump up 1 and a half floors and wall runs up to another panel then goes up over the wall

Isaacisaac stood bemused of the whole situation, he'd never seen her that angry before. "she never was one for standing around and small talk was she?"he said placidly as she leaped over the wall. "wait, did you slip her the hot beef injection and leave? that must be why she's so mad. Erebus you slydog, er lizard-man-thing."================================================

She was left blinking for a moment at the scene that had just occurred. Erebus had mentioned something about looking at the airship but this had been interrupted by Caitlin. Clara was not sure if she should laugh or be fearful for Erebus. Clara opened her mouth to say something but did not, especially after Isaac's comment. "I am not getting into this one. Nope."

staring at Isaac a little grumpy at practically getting packed into a wall like someone stuffing laundry in a bag and him making jokes Erebus stands up and hands him the shield that looks more like 2 bowls with toe prints "not funny... and im still human enough to pass a DNA test saying im human, just every chromosome is completely irregular in design now..."taking off the gauntlets and pacing to leave he turns around "could you straighten your girlfriends footprints out of that for me while i go work on these?"

Isaac"yeah yeah, hold on. i gotta pop an electrolyte pack" 'popping a pack' is a slang term among metal benders for the act of eating an electrolyte gel for fuel in their metal bending abilities. since they burn through electrolytes quite fast it is not uncommon for them to carry small to medium pack on them at a time. and they all taste like glue, except plum. plum tastes like plum-flavored glue. isaac took a small pack from a pouch in his tool belt and tore the top off. squeezing it all into his mouth and grimmacing at the taste he swallowed it and grabbed the gauntlets. he concentrated for a second and thin streams of electricity began forming where his hands touched the metal. he tapped each gauntlet with his index finger. as he tapped he could feel the molecular structure of the metal. he paused for a moment deciding how best to fix rearrange everything. finally he decided the best point of entry. he concentrated very hard on the gauntlets and the electricity became more prevalent as he messed with the magnetic fields. slowly the gauntlets returned to their former shape with a sound akin to a tin can being crushed ================================================

Clara watched Isaac work on the shield. Admittedly, she was impressed. If it had been her, she would have just banged the dents out; though, perhaps this was rather primitive of her. "Nice work Isaac!"

"well that saved me 3 minutes of work, now... to find someone around here to make some better gear"not long later there was someone leave from this floor and came back with a big eared person wearing the simpler grounding outfit and having a belt of odd knives showing that he worked the crafting floor "evening Erebus... heared you had a confrontation with Caitlin... and the container on your head gives it away... and yes i was hiding from her... she had been asking me where you where for a while now and being 2 inches shorter than her i dont like being looked down on" "ahh foreman... you... where here the whole time... well we need some new materials for weapons and such...and here is the letter"swatting at the letter trying to find the letter eventually handing it over just to find out it was a delivery invoice to have more refrigerators and solar panels produced for the far side of the city "well i would like to take and get some iron plating over the light metal for my armor and have this clock--""WHAT DID YOU DO TO IT I ACTUALLY MADE THAT ONE!!" "ahem.... i would like to give my blade a vibrating edge so it will saw easier and i wont have to sharpen it as much"he mudders and takes the clock and dagger then sends me off to someone for the iron work and asks both clara and Isaac what they want

Isaac"well frankly i just want to be able to be off on my way with these guys. and a beer to get the taste of a pop pack out of my mouth. at the very least i'd like to be allowed to get my engineering RIG out of my ship"he said. the glue aftertaste has been known to linger at least a whole day, although strangely enough alcohol is a good way to remove the taste. or at least become so intoxicated you don't care what you taste ================================================

Clara thought that was a lot of energy for Isaac to have put out if Erebus could have fixed his shield in only three minutes. This thought made her frown a bit. But soon she was distracted once more as the Foreman was present and she liked him already.
"Actually, my things are a little dirty. I could definitely use some cleaner." She grinned.

"well... we have a bar 3 floors down.... 5 tips a pint, 2 silver bands and get a 5th one free... just dont go crazy cause they only offer that for the first 4 rounds..." looking up at clara wondering why she only asked for a cleaner wrench "is... that it?... umm... ooh ooh i got an idea, how about something to give you an easier turn with a flick of a switch? all i would need to do is drill out some holes and about 3 silver bands to make the engines and the battery for it... deal?" offering a chance to make something and give him something to do thats harder than most of everything else he works with ((the yakuza gave you a gold ingot so you would get back 2 silver bands worth of material... still working on what would be 5 dollars though lol))

Mhm. She was staring right back up at him. "I am just a mechanic, what did you expect me to say I needed?" She laughed a little. She listened to the proposal though and thought on it with furrowed brows. "What exactly are you planning on doing all this work to?"

looking at him fairly disappointed he asks Isaac to return to his ship if he is going to drink "well... you are going into battle... battle stuff?" being that he isnt used to fighting he actually hasnt thought of it before "well you had a wench... i was going to make it easier to turn stuff with, when you give it a motion it will follow that motion with more force with my idea" slowly trailing off wondering if she had any creative forward ideas and tries to put it out of his head so he doesnt sound like a jerk
