Atlas let the awkward silence fall, taking that time to realize that they didn't know each other's names. "... I am Atlas. Atlas Elysium." Hopefully she would introduce herself and make him feel less strange.

Atlas blinked slowly. "Like...?" What did he like? "... I do not know what I like. This is the first day that I haven't been training. You are... the first Azrien besides my father that I've ever come into contact with."

Atlas tilted his head. "... I am not sure whether to take that as a compliment or an insult." The first part sounded more of an insult than a compliment, but the second half was the opposite. Then he replied to the actual statement. "That is because my father is training me to become an agent of his revenge."

Atlas thought back to his father's... rants. "He said he was unloved since the day he was born. And then he was captured by humans who abused him. Apparently my mother 'enlightened' him. Not sure what he meant by that, but apparently after that he decided to enact revenge on those who'd wronged him."

Atlas frowned. "For what reason would I abandon him? I would not say he is my world, but he is my parent. I would not leave him without very good reason for doing so." Unless that was what his father wished. If Malphias didn't want him around, he would not stay. But what other reason could make him leave?

"... I understand respect, but the concept of love is foreign to me." Atlas inspected the filly. "... Why are you so interested in me, Tekashi?" Was he really that strange? He'd always thought the other Azrien he observed were odd--maybe it was really him that was the strange one.
