Senga gasped when his back hit water. It was cold like ice against his bare skin, nipping at the cuts in his shoulders. He swallowed water, and instinctively broke surface with a deep inhale, shaking his hair out as soon as he'd come back up. Around him, others were experiencing much the same fall, and he frowned. This was not at all expected, and he was not at all inclined towards this new happening in any way.
Grunting, the sword master swam for the edge, pulling himself up and out and shaking away the water like a wolf. A quick check showed that his vials were still in place. Good. At least something came through. Pressing his lips together, Senga tilted his head back at the rubble above. There was no way they were getting back up unless he suddenly sprouted wings. Spotting a familiar figure, Senga moved towards Kiwi to inspect the gate, rapping his knuckles against it a few times. Cuffing Kiwi gently over the head, Senga glanced down at the boy with a gentle frown.
"For earlier." Was all he said, and when the gate yielded nothing of interest, he moved on to explore the shoreline of the underwater lake, pondering his next plan of action.

He kept the jewled Chalice it in his hands. "It's mine, I'm a silver if anyone can make a claim, it's me." He glanced at the gate. People were already touching it. Maybe he could convince someone to go through first. And then someone did.

Studying the gate, Moriko was reminded of the odd card that she had picked up in the marketplace before. She hadn't remembered looking at it very much and she reached into her pocket to pull it out and study it. Didn't it look oddly similar to this gate? She frowned a little as she concentrated, wondering if there was any connection at all between to the two.

It would appear that two others had just one straight for the chalice itself. Shame. With a sigh, he raised to his feet and looked around. What else was there to look at? The lake was an option, as was the gate, but he chose a more... Silver. He was gonna go looting into the treasures. Making his way to the other side of the cave, he took handful of gold coins and what he believed to be gems, placing them into his pack.

Into a lake, Lan sputtered and cursed as she mad her way to the shore. Overall, she wasn't happy. She wanted to just get miasma, then return. Falling through a tower and into a lake? So not on her list of 'things I'd like to do'.
Looking around, she attempted to see if there were any sort of mirror.That had been the key once after all.

Amarus was keeping an eye on her fellow Shadow members, and decided to leave the chalice alone for a moment, as a few people now seemed to be fighting over it.
Better leave it where it was stuck, then.
She traced her blue runes into the inside of her lantern, and used her meteor hammer lantern to search the unlit extremities, to cast light into the depths of the lake and in the corners of the cave. Perhaps she could illuminate something lost in shadow.
Finally, she closed her eyes and listened: past the noise of the others, past the treasure diving and the petty squabbles and the plotting, and listened for any clues.

His free hand went to the pocket of his pants, where his own key was still safe though damp. Fingers closed around it as if to make sure it was the very same key Thackery had given him and relaxed when that was confirmed.
"Perhaps." He replied, as he turned to look at Tomoko to make sure she really was alright... and then choked.
Instinctively, his hand went to the buttons of his vest, and wished that it had been a jacket instead. Oh well. "Gimme a second." He released her hand (for now) and quickly unbuttoned his vest, handing it out to her while looking away. "Here. Put this on. It's not much but..."
He wasn't going to look until she was done. Instead, Erebus dipped hi arms into the water and reached for the chest. It was a silly thought, he knew, but he did wonder if he could somehow unlock it with the keys they had.
Uru chuckled over his shoulder as the two bickered over the Chalice. It was more amusing that one claimed to be a Silver. "Silver or not, manners are manners. Ladies first and if you are going to be a Silver of snivelish degree, trades are always within our interest." he stated over his shoulder. "I too am a Silver, but we... adapt.

Madison was pissed. The others around her meant nothing to her - though she did note Mjoll over by the chalice. Still, anyone not marked with the seal of Gold was not worth her notice whatsoever. Not now. Not when she was tattered and bloody and irritated beyond belief.
She took a deep breath and took a long drink of water, hoping to calm down a bit and regain her composure.

The land was not at all what she had expected. She expected to land hard upon the earth, her body broken, defeated by a dilapidated tower. What happened instead was that she found herself plunging rather harmlessly into water, and warm water at that, water that embraced her, carrying her to it's surface, and whispered words she couldn't quite understand in her ears.
It was almost comforting, which meant she didn't trust it in the slightest.
Swimming to shore, the woman pulled herself out of the water, a sopping wet mass. She then had a glance around, seeing that many were inspecting a chalice, while others a gate.
Pursing her lips, she searched for a familiar faces, spying many from her kingdom among those who had made it here. She was not yet sure whether this was a good or a bad thing.
Seeing that most were occupied, she moved to inspect the cave walls, searching for any writing or a possible way of escape besides the more obvious gate.
Mjoll's eyes couldn't help but roll at the man's pride. Silver... right "Huh so you're part of that group that Molan came from." She'd remembered his name, at least.
Her brow lofted, as she drew her hand away from it since the other seemed so snatch. However he wasn't here when she entered "Just because the place is under your kingdom doesn't mean it's yours by the way." She pointed out, "This could've been someone else's and besides it has king written on it. I'm pretty sure you're not a king."
She watched as others tried to pry jewels and things off the Chalice, whatever. She shrugged. "Oh well, whatever." She stepped back, "You're call man."
Mjoll's well built with an hourglass figure. Her long blonde hair is braided and put up in a bun to keep it out of her way while adventuring, she also has bright ice blue eyes. She's dressed in something akin to riding clothes, she has a white puffy shirt on that has gold trim and creme colored pants with black riding boots that have golden design.
Maple instantly shot her hands up into the air, trying to show the little Silver holding onto the Chalice that she meant him no harm. She wasn't sure if that was really the thing to do - should she try to take it as well? Oh hell, what would the others do?
What she had been looking at was what the shiny object had been sitting on after all. She spared Uru a glance as he tried to address his fellow kinsman but still continued to linger near the pedestal.

What a sight to see indeed. Perhaps there was something to being a redead after all. The fall, the water... For a moment, Agsil didn't move, too absorbed by the familiarity of floating in water. She'd awakened before like this, and she'd found out she'd died. As she pushed herself to the surface though, and made her way to the edge of the lake, she could see no new guide. No violet glow. Her body was as it had been just seconds before, and she could remember what had brought her here.
Unless this was some new kind of death, she was pretty confident she was still... uh. Well dead. Just the same kind of dead as she'd been when she walked into the tower.
The amount of other people though... the treasure certainly perked her interesting. Especially how they glistened under the water like that.... "Joachim?" She brought herself back a little with a shake of the head, searching for her companion. "You still alright after that fall?" One she swore she didn't cause.
Watching the ongoings of those around her, she took a seat at the edge of the water keeping her legs still submerged. It was more comforting at the moment than poking around looking for... who know's what-- did people just come out of the swirling wall.
Character: Agsilved Description: Pale girl of around 5'4", long black hair down to around her knees. Various cuts filled with purple alloy can be seen across her arms, and legs, with the largest snaking down across her chest. A black and silver corset holds together a dark cloth wrapped around her body and left to hang around her knees. Barefoot.
For any who investigated the chalice, it had quite an interesting, ornate decoration.
Beneath it were the words:
Speak my role.
Nothing more nothing less. The chalice was also firmly fastened to the bottom of the lake. Nothing could remove it.
ANYONE LOOKING AT THE CHALICE
Anyone digging into the lake would find their choice in treasures: rubies, emeralds, diamonds, sapphires, gold, beautiful and ornate. It told of a tale of a Great King, perhaps, but none of the current kings fit its feel and design. While there were weapons, they were dulled, blunt with time. It was simpler to carry what weapons they currently have then reforge an old one.
ANYONE DIGGING IN THE LAKE FOR GOODS
Anyone else who had stared at the gate might have seen two figures emerge from the surface of the gate, though both were blacked out, shadow-like and wispy. If they were close enough, they might have caught some strange dialogue, something about 'a truce' and 'searching'. They quickly split in two different directions.
The gate turned dull, the swirling stopped. It began to petrify, turn a dim grey.
ANYONE ELSE INVESTIGATING THE GATE
The walls themselves hummed with life, etchings along each side speaking of their True King, the King that had ruled before he had split his crown into pieces. Seven pieces, seven crowns. But where was the eighth?
