Cirrus shuffled his hooves a bit. “Knots and her friend took the cleaning job. You can catch up to them if you want…” He looked behind him to see how far they’d gotten. “Hydrangea wants to do the florist one now and our new friend…” He looked at Sweet Stripes and then shrugged. It would till work. “You two both go to the cleaning, go catch the bus quickly.” He moved alongside Hydrangea. “We’ll go to the florist. Okay?”

Knots climbed into the empty bus. Not a soul had even set hoof inside it until now. The tattered bus seats showed signs of daily use, as did all the other buses, but this one seemed a tad less cheery.
There were half peeled, sun bleached stickers stuck on the ceiling and the sides. Some gum was baking against a window. The usual view of the insides of a school bus.
"At least this time I get to sit in front," Knots mused.
She leaned back and dug a book out of her bag to wait.

Kit followed Knots down to the empty bus. Stepping onto it he noticed it didn't seem as well taken care of as the others. He took a seat next to Knots, thinking to himself. Then he leaned over.
"Hey, we should do somethin' nice for the bus driver since he's bein' all neighborly like and drivin' us! Maybe we could clean his bus for him!"

“Alright then.” Cirrus said as Kit wandered off after the others. He looked at Sweet Stripes and smiled. “I guess you can follow him or with us to the florist.” He nodded at Hydrangea. “Well, let’s be off.” A little flutter of his wings and he began trotting towards the bus.

Hydrangea looked from Cirrus to Sweet Stripes and the others. When everything was finally settled, he gave a little jump. "I'm so glad that worked out. I would hate to leave someone alone." he said and trotted after Cirrus to the bus.

"...W-w-wait for me!" Sweet Stripes nodded at the pegasus and flew after Kit. He entered the bus and carefully sat down in a empty seat. He saw the one called Kit and another pony seem to be in a conservation of some sort.

"Maybe once we get there, we don't have any supplies yet," Knots said, lounging in her seat. "If this is any more cheerful, I may lay down and die," she said a tad discouraged. "I wonder what we'll be cleaning. I hope it's not bathrooms."

Moth was quiet getting onto the bus; she was legitimately worried about getting carsick. Something about that schoolbus smell of egg salad and eraser rubber was making her kind of queasy. She was beginning to wonder if this was a bad idea after all- but... well, at least she got to spend time with a friend. She frowned at the mention of the bathroom. "M-maybe... maybe it's like, a gym? Or a kitchen? Or literally anything but that!"
But somebody had to clean the bathrooms, didn't they? After all, if nobody cleaned the bathrooms, they'd be eternally filthy. And it was just for the afternoon; she could do anything just for the afternoon.
Especially if she had a friend with her. Having Knots around would make this way less awful! Thinking a little more about it, she decided she was glad she did the loyal thing and stuck with her friend through what might be a bad time. Nobody should have to clean a bathroom alone!
