 β―β― β’ οΌ₯πππΎπ β’ β’ β―β― Emotion left Elsie's face, her lips no longer a smile but a frown, with a tingling sensation in the bridge of her nose that felt like she was crumbling.
She never saw Akichi like this. No, not even when she broke the glass vase that caused such a riot, or even the time she secretly left the mansion last year. Boy, he was redder than the red curtains that hung over the windows! She rose from her seat beside Kanata and sighed, "I'm sorry Kanata- I should have never come here and now I...I ruined everything." She lowered her head and began walking away, wiping her face with her sleeve as she did so. She eventually stopped walking, right before the door that Akichi shattered. She was barefooted and did not step onto the glass, instead looking out at the night sky. Where Akichi was, he was probably slamming his head against a tree, or slamming his fist against it in rage, vehement emotion and betrayal. She felt like a fool right about now, but her emotions were very complicated over what had happened.
Kanata seemed nice, but maybe that was a facade to a darker and more villainous demon. Elsie turned and gave a sort of embarrassed smile. "Kanata, if Akichi tries to kill me- I want you to know that I really like your style. I may be 17, and you're probably somewhere around the 100's, but if fate ever allows us together, I would choose you if anything happened." And after she spoke, her feet stepped over the shattered glass and onto the pavement, then onto the grass.
She continued to walk, regardless of the stabbing pain in her feet, and the immense bleeding that came from the soles of her feet didn't matter much until she stopped walking, and by the time she stopped walking- she had led a small blood trail to her current destination at the bench, nearby the cherry blossom tree that had a beautiful shade reflecting off it from the moonlight. She sighed and pulled one leg over the other and saw the damage done and said, "I'm so stupid for even trying this...I've hurt myself more than once and now I hurt him too... Ach, it's like a game of Russian Roulette- no one ever wins."
She began to pluck the glass shards that were in her foot and wiped the blood onto her sleeves and sighed again. The pain was excruciating, but she thought she might as well deserve it for being such a flirt.

Foot steps in the damp grass could be heard coming towards Elsie.In the coolness of the night a figure of a man, sat next to her. His face moved into the light and it was Kanata. "I'm flattered to hear you choosing me and thinking of me so fondly, it is true I indeed know him much longer then you have, but I don't think he would kill you." his voice was full of composure and his eyes lay upon her with care. Lightly caressing her injured foot Kanata continued "It's such a shame that a cold hearted demon could still hurt you even when he's ran off..if I could, I would take you away." His words began to fade into a whisper as he moved in closer.
He knelt on one knee and breathed an icy aura above her wounds and it slowly healed. "Will you? Will you commit your soul to me Elsie?"
Akichi stood at the gates of the mansion and stared off into the world beyond the closed gated bars. The thought of him returning to the demon world swept across his mind and the thought of Kanata already taking Elsie. He felt very stupid after his 'little' tantrum, he needed to go back before he would find no trace of them. By now all the maids and butlers were awake and were probably questioning the situation. He needed to stop his childish rants and act like a real demon that he was. Perhaps all this time, he wanted to act human, but it was already to late for that.

β―β― β’ οΌ₯πππΎπ β’ β’ β―β― A grasp of her wounded foot and the eyes of peace, eyes of sincere kindness. Yes, Kanata had come. To be honest, Elsie was surprised to see him here, rather she was more expecting to see Akichi more than anything, but as rude as he was- he didn't show.
"You're much too kind, Kanata- you don't need to do this, I'm really fine on my own." A smile came to Elsie's face as the wound healed. Kanata's proposition surprised Elsie more than his appearance. "What? Commit my soul to...you? But I hardly know you! I said I liked you, but not enough to marry you! I'm only seventeen! Isn't that a bit young for you?" Her eyebrows came to a quizzical furrow and she sighed, "thank you Kanata- but no..."

Kanata sighed as well and sat back down next to her. "I'm not asking your hand in marriage, I'm sorry if you got the wrong idea, but I must say that was harsh." He said as he scratched the back of his head. "I was simply asking you if you would return with me to the demon world..become a demon."
Of course there was no certain way of transforming a human into a demon, but he needed some way to get her to go with him. Being the gentleman he was, he used it as an advantage. Even in hell he could charm the female demons with a simple curve of the lip. For him to be hired for the job was very clever, and he was sure he could not fail. Akichi's reaction was a sign of success. "When a demon, age makes no difference, what do you say?"
"What do you say Elsie?" Akichi approached from the shadow of the courtyard. He would of course not let her if she were to say yes, but he wanted her to decide for herself and give her an opprtunity to decide whether she would rather be like himself. He'd rather keep her as she was, and although he may think selfishly, it's because he knows. He knows that being a demon could not be possible unless you were born one. No matter the answer, Akichi would still have to shut Kanata up. After all didn't he just ask her to spend her life with him.

β―β― β’ οΌ₯πππΎπ β’ β’ β―β― "Ah-h-h-h...what?" Elsie murmured out loud, her quizzical expression only growing. "I didn't think you meant marriage, and however pleasing and uh....tempting it might sound, but I'm kind of...unavailable right now?" She looked into his eyes with a pleading apology. Her eyes were filled were curious wonder, some shy terror and unsureness.
But as her mouth began to open to give a more clear answer, the voice she was dying to hear that night came behind her. Her eyes widened, her breath gone as she turned her body to see the intimidating build that belonged to Akichi. "Akichi..." she began to utter, clutching her palm against the other across her chest. "I hope you know what you're doing" she stated as she rose from the bench, pushed Kanata aside towards the ground and walked towards Akichi.
"You're quite the child" Elsie spoke as she raised an accusatory finger and a tilted look of disapproval, "you get jealous too easily."

Akichi looked away and gave his usual annoyed look as he pouted. He walked toward her and covered her mouth with the palm of his hand to hush her from anymore statements. "Hmph...jealous........when was the last time you kissed my wrist....besides..Kanata, go find another human to meddle with another human, like she said she's unavailable.." For once Akichi actually began to smile. And it was one of those sincere, glad smiles. It was partly because he had saw her push Kanata out of the way. He called for Ivan to escort Kanata to the underworld, and Ivan once again came prancing around the corner to obey Akichi's every command.
Kanata was completely and utterly shocked at the sudden events. "A-are you both mad? What is with this sudden change of mood? I thought you two were suppose to be angry at each other?" Kanata glared at Ivan warning him to stay away. He soon turned to the shadows and looked back "Well..I guess I will be leaving, just to give you a fair warning that I will not be the only demon returning o take you back Akichi...I would love to visit miss Elsie again, but with unfortunate events, my time runs short, farewell." Kanata's visit was strange and quick, but his only orders were to recieve the human without starting any heated fights or destruction on earth. He had failed yet stood fast in his orders of not acting violently towards anyone.
Akichi of course didn't pay much attention to what he had to say and just waited til he finally left. He faced Elsie and looked straight into her eyes "Your very annoying ..." Akichi said as he removed his hand from her lips.
Ivan in the back was getting very anxious as he watched both Akichi and Elsie. It was like a visual novel romance.

β―β― β’ οΌ₯πππΎπ β’ β’ β―β― She smiled slyly after the palm was taken off her mouth, rising her hands and placing it back comfortably on her cheek. "You are more annoying than I, and just to tell you- you're quite good with entrances. Very...stylish. I like that..." She didn't really mind that Ivan was around, or that she was seventeen and he was around 200 years old and capable of killing her with one blow, but right now he was kind of her savior, her knight-in-shining-armor.
"You're very cunning..."

"I've told you..I'm a demon." He said as he held the smile and saw the child she was in her eyes. It was comforting to have her be with him. Even trough the strangest moments that had happened all at once, she was very good at handeling them.
Ivan ran up to Elsie and gave her a great big hug, he couldn't resist, and he was over joyed with tears streaming down his face. "Elsie!! I'm so glad that you are alright!"
Akichi wasn't very fond of watching Ivan act so childish in front of them, but he let it go for now. He thought about what she had said about his entrances. "Stylish huh?" Maybe it was just great timing, or perhaps it was a demon thing. He shrugged and looked out into the starry night that was soon to fade into daylight. He didn't really want to wait for that.

β―β― β’ οΌ₯πππΎπ β’ β’ β―β― She smiled again and brought her body closer to his and nuzzled, just the thought of having this incredibly cliche event happening was all that she ever wanted. It was her prince charming at last.
Ivan came and gave her a tight hug and Elsie returned the favor with one tighter. "You're so sweet Ivan! Ah- I love you so much! You're like the brother I never had!" She let out an enormous laugh and let go of Ivan with a smirk, "you always were one for cheesy romance novels!"
She looked to Akichi with that same smile and gave an affirming nod that seemed to say, 'yeah, of course' and began to walk inside the mansion, stopping short of the broken glass door.
"Now, what are we going to do about this?" she asked with her arms crossed and a straight face.

Akichi picked up Elsie bridal style and continued over the broken glass and just brushed it aside. "Ivan will take care of it, no need to get your hands dirty."
Akichi said as he placed her down so she wouldn't cut her feet again. Before leaving to head off to bed, a thought was bothering him when he saw Kanata and Elsie together. He walked up close to her and leaned in. In seconds he pressed his lips against hers passionately. It would haunt him to have to see her kiss another and him missing the opportunity to. "In case that damn Kanata comes back to try to do it to you." He said once adjusting his glasses then tilted her chin so they could see eye to eye.

β―β― β’ οΌ₯πππΎπ β’ β’ β―β― A gap came from Elsie a Akichi's lips touched hers. It was enigmatic climax, a moment of true awakening. When his lips finally retreated from hers, she began to quiver. Her lips felt as if though it were touched with flame of passionate action, and she almost felt weak.
She smiled and gave a slight nod, raising her palms to hold his and whispered quietly, "that was amazing" before falling to his chest and wrapping her arms around his waist. This had never happened before, in all the years that he lived, had Akichi ever kissed anyone besides the necks of the ones he feasted on for blood.
In short, it surprised her quite a great deal.

Akichi stared down at her with softened eyes. This kiss proved more then a simple excuse to have anyone else kiss her. He indeed felt some warmth in that cold demon heart. It strange how a human can posses such power that even an all mighty powerful demon could not comprehend. It truly made him feel happy. He returned the hug and wasn't as nervous as he had always been. This time he held a flower that could never fade when he touched it.
OOC: I'm sorry but did you read the manga? Because your spot on! And it's scaring me. lol

β―β― β’ οΌ₯πππΎπ β’ β’ β―β― Elsie soon released herself from the hug and sighed dreamily. She began to feel light, like a feather on a scale. Her body was nothing more than a catalyst to shield her vehement soul burning with romance. She wished someone else had been able to witness the event other than Ivan, but at least one witness was enough!
She turned towards Ivan and let out a big grin, her eyes glistening and deep. As if by divine intervention she felt a sort of longing, a longing for someone to caress her deeper still. To hold her waist and give ample comfort for her head on his shoulder. To dance away the night and never look back, to become lost in the music of Eric Satie with his soul-wrenching Gymnopedie.
A dandelion-haired girl of seventeen and a demon with hair that sparked with deep purples and blacks. A serenading tide of at dusk.
OOC: I read a few chapters up until the teacher one. I'm glad it scares you, I fully intend to continue! >; D

Akichi ran his fingers through his hair as he blushed a light pink. Never before had he have someone feel for him like this, and it was all new. "Elsie..." He said softly, as he looked away. He touched his lips realizing that he had kissed the girl he saw grow up. Was it a mistake? Was it wrong? Right there and now, it didn't seem to matter very much. He had done it and it was an extraordinary experience.
Ivan was soo ecstatic and couldn't contain himself. It was strange for him as well since he and the other maids and butlers have raised her. "Aki! Elsie! I never thought this day would come!" Tears of joy had once again streamed down his face and he dabbed his eyes with a hankerchief. "E-excuse me.." He said as he went to cry somewhere, where no one could see.
"Ivan..you idiot.."He thought as he watched him walk off crying his eyes out. "Elsie....your such an idiot.." He said as he placed a hand on her head while facing away to hide his lightish pink face.
OOC: Lol I think it's the only girly manga I somewhat enjoyed.

β―β― β’ οΌ₯πππΎπ β’ β’ β―β― Grinning at Ivan's inability to be a man, she smiled and brushed away the hair that was messed up due to Akichi's touch and sighed in bliss.
But then came a phrase which Elsie never thought he would hear at this moment, 'Elsie...you're such an idiot'. The words hit her like bricks and a cold, hardened expression came over her.
She looked at Akichi with an evil glare and a piercing question. "What did you just say?" She hissed as an accusatory finger poked at Akichi's chest with anger. "YOU'RE THE ONE WHO STARTED THIS WHOLE THING YOU MORON! YOU KEPT A SECRET FROM ME FOR 17 YEARS, BROKE THROUGH THE GLASS DOOR IN A FIT OF JEALOUSY OVER ONE KISS AND THEN HID LIKE A COWARD! AND YOU-YOU HAVE THE AUDACITY TO CALL ME AN IDIOT?!"
She pursed her lips and they began to quiver, her tears almost breaking over her cornea. She closed her eyes while her brow furrowed together, trying so hard to not start the water works.
She slapped him and ran towards her bedroom in betrayal, anger and shame.
'How could I have fallen for THIS guy?!' She screamed internally as her bare feet hit the carpet with graceful agility and as soon as she came to her bedroom she slammed the door shut and locked it.
'I was so stupid...'
