Jamaa sighed. He rose to his feet.
"Jamaa will return when sun rises." he said.
"What about me, laddie?" the ratel spoke.
Jamaa growled. He dipped his head and bit into the badger's scuff picking him up like a pup. Jamaa bowed his head and left for home.

((*Salutes* Can do. ^__^))
Slowly Temari rose to her feet. Her legs shook under her weight and she smiled, even if she couldn't run at least she could remember it. Wagging her tail brightly she peered around the watering hole for anyone. Well, Jamaa mostly, but she would have gone for anyone if she could just talk to someone. No one seemed to be around though. ninja

"Wake up! Wake up! Wake up! Wake up!" His little accent and the constant repititions of phrase was finally getting to him. Jamaa was turned away from the Ratel, who he reluctantly let into his home, red eyes wide open, paws over ears and soft whimpers from his throat.
Jamaa cannot take more! he cried to himself.--------- The ratel waddled behind as the canine trudged toward the watering hole where, he hoped, Temari was.

Temari heard a voice that she recognised in the distance. She had given him a ride last night hadn't she? On her back that was now far to broad for her own good. She sort of remembered. That little accent of his, the one that Temari had never heard yet didn't seem to mind hearing. It was sort of cute. She lifted her head slightly from the water and little waterfalls came down from the gaps in the wild dogs teeth as she waited. ninja

"Hey there. Lassie~" he called out, waving from Jamaa's shoulder. "We're coming!"
Jamaa smirked. He slouched and then straightened quickly, sending the little badger into the air and into the grass next to the path. He let out a little snort as he ran to Temari

Yipping happily, Temari took a few steps forward and licked the end of Jamaa's nose happily. Well, the poor Ratel had taken a header to the ground. That didn't seem like it was comfortable. Temari hoped it was okay, though she could really care less now that she could be with Jamaa again. ninja

Jamaa nuzzled her happily as she returned the same. "Jamaa miss Temari."
The little ratel stumbled from the grass, disoriented. "Ah, laddie, maybe it'd be betta if ya learned proper speech." he said before falling backwards, twitchin.
"Better Speech..."

Temari nuzzled under Jamaa's neck softly and sighed happily. He was this large force that was comforting at the same time it was daunting. She hoped he'd protect her. "I missed you too Jamaa." A smile graced her long muzzle and she glanced over at the Ratel. "What's your name? I missed it if you gave it." ninja

"M'name's Topas, lassie, remember it well!" he shouted, pointing to himself. "And you're Miss Temari, from what I hear." he said laughing.
"Topas...is bothersome." Jamaa flushed a bit.
"Nuna of this "oogly googly" stuff! Wha are we gonna do todah!?" he shouted again.

((o.O I have to leave for a week. I'll respond as soon as I'm back Sunday night. XP Sorry.))
"Topaz then." It wasn't a bad name, just not one that she expected a Ratel with black and white fur to have. Topaz was brown/gold wasn't it? Then why...? Oh well, it didn't matter. "Yes, I'm Temari." Her left ear flicked idely and sent the chain spinning in circles. Then her eyes widened. "Jamaa? Did you just speak a sentence?" This was a first. ninja

"So you're a wild dog, laddie? And that femme back there, you liked her huh~" "Quiet..." "Well, if you want her to like you, you got to talk to her." "Jamaa does." "I meant speak to her properly, laddie. You can't keep goin like tis foreveh!" "...." "Heh, don't worry pup, I'll teach yah eveh thing you need to know!"
He just gave a blank expression just the thought of it.

((*Tosses at cuz she can't respond after it*))
Glancing at him, Temari raised one of her eyebrows, Jamaa had spaced out. What was wrong? A pang hit her side and the wild dog winced and laid down. Maybe it had been one of the pups kicking her. She hoped that's what it was at least. ninja

Jamaa jerked his body low and close to his companion, bracing her.
"Temari, alright? Is Termari okay, what is it?" he asked worried.
"Don't be blind, laddie, it's her littleuns. They are starting to get a little rilely in there." Jamaa shushed him away to get a little time alone. Topas huffed a little and buried himself into the ground. Jamaa's attention returned back to Temari.

"I'm okay, really. It just... hurts is all. When they kick I mean. They have nasty sharp little claws on them right now." She laughed. She was so weak right now. They were close to coming. She wasn't sure when they would, but they were close. Looking up at Jamaa she licked him on the nose and smiled warmly. ninja
