Tahira was more than a little thankful that the beast had not targeted her when it had had decided to attack. She was as strong and proud as any of her sisters but she could not deny how painful that had looked. Still none of her allies had fallen permanently from the blow which was a good sign. It did not look like they could afford to lose more warriors right now.
Plucking another fist sized hunk of rock from her bag she hurled it with all her might at the Wight's shoulder where she had just seem a small blade hit it's mark. While a killing blow was out of the question just yet Tahira could at least try to disable her foe. Attacking a weak point and not wasting advantages were things she had been told since she was a youngling.

Comforted by the presence of her nearby sisters and they damage they were doing to the beast Kadriye put on a brave smile. She was one of Aisha's chosen, she should be doing better to support her kin here. Once again the young mystic tried to take a settling breath and find her magic.
Though far from impressive she found herself able to weave it around a previously thrown stone and tossed the rock at the lumbering, well armed beast. It bounced nearly harmlessly off creature's leg and Kadriye frowned, a youngling with a stick was more effective in battle than she was.

Ayo grimaced as the Wight made his move, swinging an enormous branch and successfully knocking away two of her allies. She knew neither one of them, but couldn’t help but feel a burning concern well up in her stomach, especially for Shukri… he being another member of the Wind Tribe, she couldn’t help but feel a natural draw to him, despite the fact that they’d never met.
The woman fingered the small knife at her side, but had become far too nervous, given the proceedings, to get any closer to the beast. Instead, she picked up another stone and lobbed it at the beast. Unfortunately, she seemed to have been mistaken; the rock was really no more than a frozen dirt clod and immediately broke apart on impact, successfully managing to leave the Wight uninjured.
Ayo grimaced again, cursing herself under her breath. This was not getting stronger.

The Wight roared in annoyance, attempting to swat away the knives and magic that continued to pummel his face. His arms and torso were bleeding and he snarled angrily as Briella successfully added another streak of crimson to his already stained fur. However, he seemed to have gained an incredibly strong foe in Shukri.
The creature roared as the knife dug into his shoulder, warm blood caking his grey fur. It was a strong hit, especially from a man with potentially battered ribs. Almost immediately thereafter, Tahira cast a rock that successfully impacted the very spot on his shoulder that was already seething with pain. The bone had been successfully crushed, the muscles decimated, and the creature’s arm hung limply at his side, unable to move, no doubt much to his attackers’ delight.
He was no doubt weakening, yet adrenaline continued to fuel his rage.
With his free arm, the Wight reached across, grabbing for Shukri, who had successfully implanted the blade into his now useless arm. He tried to shake away the Wind Tribesman, doing his best to toss him away, with all the strength and power a single arm would allow. That completed, with his one free arm, he picked up the rock that Kadriye had managed to bounce against his leg and which lay helplessly at his feet. He picked up the stone and, with all his might, threw it back at Tahira, the accomplice in the loss of his good arm.

Aminah's face was twisted in pain as she saw the Wight bring down another attack on her teammates. Her heart ached for the young man on the floor who was hit yet again by the wight. She wanted to protect him but was too late.
Aminah turned back to the Wight and hoped to help end this battle as soon as she could before anyone else was hurt. She used water once again to fight the Wight, but it was no use. Her attack was feeble. Her head wasn't in the game and she didn't manage to hurt the Wight in the slightest. She shook her head, trying to clear her thoughts and focus. There was no point in getting upset if it made her useless.

Zuri watched all the active around her, becoming more and more worried about all the others around her that were getting hurt. She was lucky that the Wight hadn't attacked her, but then again maybe that was because her first blow had failed and she hadn't been able to do it any damage. Angrily Zuri struck at the Wight, she had to hurt it to keep it from hurting her alies!
Zuri smiled when the spear connected with it's skin, going deeper then she originally thought it would.

Keilana had been stunned by the first blow from the beast, she felt a ringing in her ears and even as Animah rushed to her side to make sure she was okay she bare registered her presence. In fact Keilana wasn't even sure how long she had been laying on the ground for as the battle raged around her. Once she felt the world right itself there was blood dripping from a cut on her forehead, it felt like it was gushing and looked a lot worse than it actually was.
Getting up she felt herself stumble the hammer still on the ground felt like it weighed twice as much as it should be, but somehow she got it up and hefted it in both hands. Steadying herself she took note of the proceedings, who was still standing and how much damage the creature had taken. Keilana was a stubborn person and though she probably should of sat out moved deliberately forward hammer raised to strike the creature.
Her aim however was completely off, though if that rock had been her intended target it was completely destroyed.

Briella was so happy she hit it, and when she saw his arm go limp from the combined efforts of all she was excited. Sure her side was taking more hits then she would have liked, but at least the Wight was also feeling the damage!
She looked towards Kadriye just as she cast magic and gave her an encouraging smile before turning towards the beast once more. This time when she went to cut him with her blade she missed and almost lost her footing before stabilizing herself.

Blocking an Attack
If you wish, you may use your turn to try to block an ally from being attacked.
Roll as you normally would, either 1 10-sided die or 1 20-sided die, depending on your stage.
No Damage = You fail to protect your ally
Half Damage = You take half the damage
Full Damage = You successfully block your ally and take all of the damage.
This is your entire turn.
Those who have rolled may re-roll, if they wish to try a block instead.

Shukri lay curled in pain on the ground, his whole body ached and there was blood specking his lips no doubt burbling up from internal injuries he had no desire to speculate further on. Delirious with pain he was pretty sure death was imminent. They were too few and it was too strong and oh but he didn't want to die and get eaten, his corpse nothing but a reminder of their failure.
Though he could not get to his feet or even really feel them any more Shukri still had a few last vestiges of strength. Bloodied fingers grasped at one of the rocks being used as weapons by both sides and lobbed it in the direction of the wight. Vision growing ever fuzzier the pale haired young man could not see if he'd made a hit or not.

The wight's throw was much better than her own and Tahira had been unable to dodge the rock as it was flung back at her. A solid hit to the gut had the prentice doubled over in pain and then on her knees weezing for breath. Vision blurry with tears of pain Tahira tried to return fire while also trying not to be sick or pass out.

Kadriye watched in horror as her allies were once again heavily wounded by the Wight. Even as they bludgeoned it and caused it to bleed it fought back with a ferocity that would have been admirable in another situation. Truly it was going to die fighting to it's last breath, or they were.....
" Damn your cursed soul" The young mystic shouted, rage filling her in a way she had never known. If this man , for she believed the legend, had been stronger of will then they would not be here. Whatever dark magic had turned him into the wight could have been resisted but he had been weak and now they were suffering for it.
Gathering her magic again Kadriye this time sent a spear of ice at the Wight. It might be native to this cold frozen land but sharp things would still make it bleed. Body quivering with rage and antennae twitching from her magic Kadriye stood there, willing the beast to bleed and suffer like it's foes.

Ayo grimaced as Shukri fell to the ground, completely crumpled, blood spattering his lips. Even so, he managed to lob another rock at the Wight. His resolve was enormously impressive…
She resisted the urge to go to her fellow tribesman, to do what she could to assist him, because really, what could she do right now? Even if she managed to bandage him in some way, the Wight was still at large and injuring more and more people by the minute. She watched as Tahira doubled over in pain as well, a stone having struck her squarely in the gut. The best thing she could do was to help these people by getting rid of the Wight.
Firmly resolved herself, Ayo dashed forward. Finally, she pulled the small blade from her hip and, when she was close enough, with a scream, she dug the blade into the Wight’s still functioning arm, hoping to knock it into disrepair as well.

The creature cried out. It tried to grab the end of the spear, as Zuri dug it into his flesh, but the swirling of his mind combined with the sufficiently blinding blood was enough to make him miss.
Again, he tried to swipe at Ayo as she came so close to him, digging that blade into his now only semi-functioning arm. Again, thankfully for the Wind woman, he was unable to do any damage.
The creature cried out in pain and rage.
They were lucky... this time.
