She just, couldn't understand the pair of them. Which was just fine. And okay, there may have been a tad bit of amusement in her gaze as she looked between the brothers. They were quite interesting to be around. "Thank you. And please, let me know if you feel it doesn't work for you. I can... give you something stronger." Anna said quietly to Last as she accepted payment.
Bastian, for his part, made sure to sit as annoyingly close to the young man as he could without been too obvious while he paid. His green gaze followed Last all the way to the door before he huffed, and settled to watch the other brother.
"Thank you." She said to Last's retreating figure, and to First. Anna couldn't help but wonder if there was a way to tell the two apart if they didn't tell you first. They were the first pair of twins she'd ever met.
"You and your brother are welcome to come by my shop if you ever feel the need." She said with a small smile to First, hand falling against Bastian's head. "Even if it's just to stick your head in and say hi."

The softly voiced offer that she gives Last is met with a sudden start -- and then a look of silent gratitude that crosses the counter and may tell Anna that no matter what they've said, Last has listened to at least some of what she has said. And will remember it. But he nods, since his brother is watching, and feigns a convincing nonchalance as he pockets the charm and exits the shop.
"We might just do that," First tells her with a grin, tipping his head in her direction. "Nothing like a pretty lass to bring a lad into a shop."
"Besides," he continues, with an even more casual air -- and a thin vein of uncertainty he hopes that she does not see -- "Could be I could use some lessons, sometime, if you'd a bit of time to spare of an evening. Although you'd have to keep an eye on your fierce lad, there, if I brought my rook about; I don't want your grimalkin to get hurt." Another grin flashes by, to reassure her that he is teasing, playing on the common behavior of cats when in the presence of birds. He's not really worried about either familiar; Unwelcome is quite bright enough to keep herself out of any sort of trouble.
