Nevada bustled around and left, grabbing bandages before handing them over to the Life hunter and looking at Kat.

"Under other circumstances, It would be all my pleasure but..." Nevada nodded as jackets were added for blankets. "It's been all good things though, if you're wondering. I even heard this really tall..Native american Moon saying that the suns lost one piece of fine a**." she smiled at Kat, attempting to humor the situation.

And not grimace as the girl might be going into hypothermia as well as losing blood from her wounds.

"So Ms. Katherine, How do you feel about naps?"

Dakota..! She would have to punch him later.

Holding out her arm, she allowed for Lex to tend to her wounds, watching quietly before looking to Ami as she joined in. "Er, my legs are okay, I think." At least they didn't hurt, but that could very well be from the fact they were also numb. At the mention of her arms needing to be completely bandaged, she let out a small groan. Was it really that bad..?

Smiling at Ami, she nodded. "Yes, thank you." Though when she spoke of her hair.. "Huh?" Her cheeks flushed, while her eyes widened. "I-is it really that bad?" Oh gawd..! She just.. wanted to hide. Forever!

At the mention of a nap, Kat shrugged. "I'm usually all for naps, but.." She just got back, and she wanted to stay with everyone.

"Anything else?"

"Yeah.." She sat up slightly. "Where is Ryan and Allan?"

Amphi opened her eyes as she heard a different chatter of voices around them. What she saw though was heartbreaking. Hunters every where were being tended for injuries, others moving tents and cots to make room.

Trainee's, intermediates and full hunters flooded the field of the Island and had the mermaid timidly holding her hands together.

Somewhere though she had lost the hunter who had brought her here and regretted that. When she would find him again, she would thank him for the passage to the island.

Instead though, her attention was drawn to a group of hunters surrounding a student...one Amphi knew well.

"Mei!" Amphi hurried over to the ghoul and pushed past hunters to take the doll's hand in her own. "Mei-Xiu, what are you doing here on the Island?" The mermaid all but clutched at the hand as she looked at the hunters who weren't...attacking?

Though it looked like some of them wanted too. but this was as the hunter said, they were outnumbered. "Please stop." She looked at Mei, "I think we're here to help you?" Right Mei?

"Oh, don't be so rude. What thing," Ariane rolled her eyes, and then patted the bracelet around her wrist - Kintama's desummoned form, "You'll hurt my partner's feelings~"



Her attention shifted over to Stormy, and she watched as the trainee interacted with the student; it wouldn't be the first time she was... Up close and personal to one of them, but it still made her wonder how someone whose life they had turned upside down could still side with them. Then again, as much as she was "defending" the student in this situation, she wasn't going to sympathize with them... It seemed to be her decision to come here, after all.

"You have a name, right?" She asked, eyeing the girl who was the center of this little commotion.

Ami shook her head and gave Kat a weary smile. "No, it's not bad at all. You'd be pretty either way." It was true. Even with her hair all uneven, Kat's natural looks shone through. Her hair just needed a little touch up.

As Lex moved bandages across Kat's arms, the bloody gashes brought back memories of her own wounds. She could feel the blood trickling down her back, the agony of the bugs boring into her skin. The thousands of horsemen eyes came back to her, the entirety of the battle field overwhelming. Breathe.

"Kat, they're going to take good care of you," she insisted, shooting Lex and Nevada a lookt that said you kill her, I kill you. "But ... But I have t-to go.." A hand went to her mouth, her stomach threatening to overturn itself. She stood up and abruptly left the bedside, rushing out of the training field as quickly as she'd entered it. Ami was wrong. She couldn't do this.

Breathe.

The feeling of the ground on his paws wasn't so different from back home. Thackery wasn't sure what he'd expected, but this wasn't quite it; as wide purple eyes slowly took in the scenery, he tried to imagine what it must be like to live here.

But the more he looked on, the more he realized that he wasn't sure how to help. This was more than standing guard on the battlefield or checking up on someone's safety with a hundred or so texts. There were hunters who were injured. Others were talking amongst themselves. Some were calling out names he didn't recognize. Drooping, he hoped they'd find who they were looking for.

As much as he wanted to be of some sort of assistance to them, he could think of no way he wouldn't be in the way. Worried that he might have made the wrong decision, he pawed absently at the ground, trying his best to step aside to make way for the humans.

Ear fins fanned a bit at the almost hositility of the Hunter with bright teal hair before dying down. Amphi in no means was a fighter or anything as the boy left and looked back at Mei.

"Not so much of an accident at all." She bit her lip nervously as she looked at the other hunters surrounding them. Most were females which helped the mermaid relax a little. They seemed a lot kinder then the Mermaid remembered..

Then again, She remember the hunters who talked to her was Ami...and other male ones. And Wash.

"I came here to make sure one of the hunters was okay." Amphi looked at the one with short black hair, a softer gentler look on the ghoul then the others before flushing. "Excuse...Excuse me...Miss hunter..." Augh, how did one talk to humans? Mei seemed to be talking normally so maybe the Mermaid should. "Are you guys friends of the hunter named Wash? I came to find him?"
