"Then there are those better than hermano at this school?" Terra asked excitedly. "I would very much like to meet them! Oh--um-- three? Do you think three is enough? Or perhaps we should use four," she said, frowning as she tried to do the math. "I do not want them to be sick over it, but I do not want to appear stingy, either." Oh, but how she wanted to meet good musicians! no, not just good, EXCELLENT musicians! She might have been a bit starry eyed at this point. "Are there any violinist?" she asked.

"I wouldn't necessarily say better," Xiu spoke slowly, not wanting to get Terra's hopes up should she actually be thinking of overthrowing Roch, "But there are some students here who are musically inclined, yes. Um, no violinists come to mind though."
She frowned at this, furrowing her brows as she tried to dig through her mental list of students, but she couldn't think of anyone else who played the violin. At least, no one that she knew of--she wouldn't have even really known that Shun played the guitar had he not told her before. "I'm sure there is another violinist here," Xiu added quickly, smiling, "I'm afraid that I just don't know who it may be."
And as for the topic of the bacon slices, Xiu chuckled and hummed thoughtfully as she placed three pieces together, and then added a fourth. Three or four? Appearance wise, it really didn't make a huge difference, but... "Do we have enough for four each? We did make quite a few..."

Terra started counting on her fingers. "I think so!" she said happily. "They will like this very much, no?" she added, practically bouncing. Then she frowned. "Ah well, I will keep looking for good musicians," she decided. "I would very much like to meet the musicians in the school! Even if there is no violinist." Although in a school this large, she was certain there had to be at least one! As she was thinking she was starting to put together the bacon packages, swaying slightly to a song that was playing in her head.

"We have lots of talented students here--I'm sure you'll find other musicians!" Xiu chirped cheerfully, giving a firm nod of her head, "For all I know, there might be a very good violinist wandering around campus too...but if you joined music club, I'm sure that you'll run into most of the musicians eventually!" And with all of these new students, there was bound to be more students would be interested in joining the club at some point.
As Terra worked on putting the bacon into their little packs, Xiu went to grab a roll of ribbon, snipping off strips to tie the ends of each package.

Terra finished her part soon enough, washing her hands after she was done and going back to her bag. "I brought some material with me," she said, digging through her things. "But most of it is old shirts and such from home," she admitted. By putting it that way it seemed like she would be pulling out scraps. "Mi madre--she liked to dress me in frills when I was younger, but I would always come home with tears in my clothes." She pulled out a dress--a silk red and black child's dress that, as she had said, had several tears that had been stitched up with love in it. Terra looked at the dress with a mixture of amusement and dislike. "I tell her, I will wear flamenco when I am an adult--but now it is too difficult to climb the trees with this skirt! And she looks at me, and shakes her head. And I come home with another tear in my skirt--and my shoes missing completely," Terra finished with a laugh and an impish grin for Xiu. "I dislike shoes even more than too many frills."

Annnd...there! That was that! Looking pleased, Xiu pat off her hands as she set aside the final package, beaming at the finished gifts with a happy little wag of her tail. She moved to wash her hands as Terra went back to her bag, turning to find that the other ghoul was clutching a dress in her hands. Looking curiously the baku cocked her head to the side, her lips spreading into a grin as the reaper ghoul proceeded to tell her about the article of clothing.
"You sound like you were an active child," She mused, reaching out to gently brush her fingers against the dress, I think it's quite cute, really, but I can definitely understand why it's not...appropriate for climbing and being active."

"Si, I am a hoyden," Terra said with an even more impish grin. "I am merely pretending to be a lady here at the escuela." She was joking, right? A few more pieces of silk, some embroidered, joined the dress, and Terra stared at it thoughtfully for a moment. "I think," she said, picking up an embroidered piece, then a pretty black and red patterned one, the grabbing a swash of slightly ratty looking black lace, "that these would make good flowers," she decided. "Do you see anything that you like?" she asked Xiu. "I am afraid I do not have very much purple for senorita Sio, though. Do you think blue would be okay? I think I have some of that as well..."

Xiu's eyes widened slightly. "H-hoyden?" She echoed, looking vaguely confused. She had no idea what the word meant, but going from the context...
W-well, Terra was clearly kidding. Clearly. Yes.
Looking curious, Xiu leaned forward to look at the pieces of cloth that Terra was grabbing, her tail swishing behind her in interest. At the question, the ghoul smiled. "Oh--everything is quite beautiful. It was a good thing you thought to save these!" Sometimes her uncle was accused of being a packrat...but to Xiu, it always made sense to save little scraps of cloth in case they came in handy later on.
"I think blue would be perfect," She nodded, grinning, "It suits Sio!"

"A hoyden--she is a trouble maker!" Terra said, giggling at the big eyed look her comment had received. "One that runs around barefoot and tears her dresses on trees and does not care if her hair is messy!" But she DID care if her makeup was--especially now that it seemed to be the only connection she had with her madre. She looked down and tugged up her skirt, showing that her shoes had somehow gotten kicked off during their Christmastival present making. "See?" Then she started digging through her bag to pull out her sewing supplies.

Hoyden was--...oh. Oh, yes, that made a lot more sense. The baku let out a little sigh, and then smiled, shaking her head. "Aww, there's nothing wrong with having a little fun and being adventurous, right?" So said the demure, docile demon ghoul, but shhhhh.
She glanced down in surprise when Terra tugged up her skirt, giggling when she realized that the ghoul was now somehow barefoot. "Well, whatever makes you comfortable! I'd rather all my friends make themselves at home in my dorm room anyways." She gave a casual little shrug before leaning forward, ears perked up as she watched the reaper pull out her sewing supplies. Ooh, was she going to get to see how these flowers were made?

Terra pulled out a bag of buttons. All types of buttons. She dug out a pin cushion from the bag, as well. She put those on the table, then pulled out a pair of scissors and a needle and thread. Then she took the embroidered material and started cutting out circles. She cut slices in the circles, folding the cloth over so it became like petals, pinning them so they wouldn't move. She cut smaller circles out of the red and black patterned material, repeating the process that she'd done with the first one and laying it on top of the first circle. Then she took a small strip of the lace, pinning it in a circle on top of the other two pieces. When that was done she fixed the needle and thread, and started sewing all of the pieces together. "It is simple," she admitted. "If you wish to make it fancier you can go along the sides of the petals with a cross stitch," she explained. "And it is prettier if your gather the material, as such," she said, making the flowers seem to grow by bunching the material on the thread. "Then, when you have finished that," she said, tying off the thread. "You take a pretty button and place it in the center and sew it on, see?" she said, finishing off her flower. She did the second one as well--it wouldn't hurt to have a spare, right? Then she went to work on a blue one for Sio.

Xiu watched intently, trying not to get in the reaper ghoul's way as she leaned forward and eagerly watched the flower forming in her hands. Although she was--at the very least--capable of sewing two pieces of cloth together or sewing closed a hole, the baku wasn't admittedly not very adept at making cute little things like this. It seemed easy enough in Terra's hands, but should she try...
"Aah, I see! So that's how they're done!" She chirped, nodding eagerly as she glanced at the finished flower. "Did your mother teach you how to make these, then? They're very cute!"

"Si! Mi madre, she gave up on trying to get my help making the dresses, so she sets me down and gives me scraps and says 'You make the flowers, I will make the clothes.' so I do!" she said, smiling slightly, which slowly turned into a sigh. She looked away, taking a moment to get her mind straight. Then she let out a breath of air. "Next, the headband!" she said, forcing a smile as she dug through her bag some more.

Ah. That was...obviously not the best question to have asked. Although Xiu didn't know the full story about anything regarding Terra's family, it was clear that things were not...always happy. The baku looked hesitant for a moment before wordlessly reaching out to give her a gentle squeeze around the shoulders. Drawing away, she smiled brightly when Terra searched in her bag for a headband.
"Oh, so it's almost done!"

"I was in a medico class," Terra said, smiling at the hug. She had needed that! "And the professora, she introduces these hot glue guns--mi hermano, he takes one--he is very much an idiot, you understand," she said, as if Xiu didn't know Roch better than she did. "It runs off of his own FEAR. He says it is a very fast way to close gaping wounds--I do not think being drained of FEAR is worth closing holes, but I have not had holes," she admitted. And she didn't have as much FEAR as her brother did, either. "But!" she said, interrupting herself, "the glue guns--they are very interesting to me! Not the ones that run off of my own FEAR, of course, but they make glue guns that run off of electricity and use sticks of FEAR to provide the glue!" And she pulled one out of her bag in a triumphant manner. "We will make the hair ties and bands with this!" she announced proudly.
