"They're a bit more decorative than anything since they're too small. I like them either way." He returned his paw to the floor. "The land near the river today. Searching for berry bushes, safe spots.. Things like that." He gave a sheepish smile. "I have a lot of time on my paws."

"I have time too...but... I don't do very much with it." She shrugged. "Ah... will you help me get better? If it's no trouble... I don't think this will get better in a day."

Syl blinked at her. "Of course I will..! It'd be rude to send you home in such a.. a vulnerable condition. You're welcome to stay as long as you need to." Or want to. Which ever comes first..

He seemed a little shy at her question, a request immediately popping into his head. "Oh, ah.. You.. you don't.." He paused. "Maybe.. maybe a hug? When you feel better?" He smiled at her, unsure of what her boundaries were.

"Oh! Yes. A hug is nice." She giggled. "Hugs are warm and fun... I like hugs!"

Syl brightened up a bit, glad she enjoyed hugs, too. "If.. if you're feeling up to it, may I have one now?"

"Oh! Of course!" She shifted, tail waving a bit, more orbs forming, some fusing and making a greater light, illuminating the tunnel as she got to a better hugging position. "Come over here please!" One paw was held up to hold him when he was close enough.

He gently moved forward at her request, hoping she wasn't too uncomfortable with the position shift, and hugged her. She was soft and warm, and he enjoyed her contact, if only for a brief moment.

She gave a soft giggle before she settled back down to rest again. "That was a nice hug!" Another giggle left her as a few orbs of light seemed to be sticking to him.

"It was! Thank you, I enjoyed it," he smiled, curiously poking at one of the light orbs that was stuck to him. "I've never seen these before. Are they actual orbs of light?"

"Yes!" She nodded, a few other orbs showing up, hovering where she'd had her head once. The one on him didn't move, and simply let his paw pass through it. "I was born like this so... I'm not sure why they're like that."

He gently poked his paw through the same orb as before. "I like them. They're cute, fascinating, unique. And perfect for when you're trying to find something at night." Or someone. He paused. "I.. I like your swirls, too. I don't think I've seen such an.. elegant, smooth pattern."

"Oh. Thank you." She smiled. "I like my pelt. It's lovely. And my orbs! I don't like the dark much." Her tail swished, head tilting. "You're fun to talk to Syl. I'm very glad you found me."
