Noticing a stray Hunter being shot at by a Horseman, Gene decided she'd go after him next. May as well, all things considered. They would be easier to take down if two people attacked.
A lunging gouge, and she was pushed back with a snarl. Oh, hell no.
The dracolich felt a surge of power fill the jewel in his gauntlet with every slash into hunter flesh. He let it guide his claws to deliver a slash across the hunter's back. The slash of the sword sent Aymet leaping back to safety with Night and the other student.
She had been a little late finding her way in to the battle, but once she was there she had decided to go follow the tallest horseman she could find - which, naturally, meant she was stalking Mengyao's feet, dainty looking bow at her hands.
Pulling back the string, she let an arrow fly a few steps behind it, watching it sing past him and hitting the Hunter. It felt good to do that, and giving a soft content sound, she looked to Mengyao, and then the student who was assisting him, giving a soft look.
"I hope you do not mind company."

Lan arrived as she usually did. A small smile on her face as she stepped through the portal into chaos and carnage. It was everything she could have hoped for and more. Snow made her pause, taking a moment to stare at it. At least this was human world snow. But as gold eyes went to the hunters, Lan simply drew out her bow in one fluid movement.
Meng was easy enough to spot with his height, even as hinters swarmed, Lan simply went to join her fellow clan member. "How rare to see you harvesting." She paid the student no mind. If they got in the way... Oh well. "Lifen, a pleasure as always."

The battle ground was a whirlwind of chaos, the air was crisp and nippy like it was christmastown all over again for damien when he pulled his coat tighter around him.
the sight of students and horseman alike went charging in, and flying back against the hunters were often and quickly becoming common as more began to charge in from both sides.
One particularily nasty human with a mace was attacking shenk. it was not going ot happen on his watch. "You leave here the jack alone, ARF!"
He gave a small smile to Shehk, but it rapidly changed into a feral grin as he leapt forward, talons outstretched towards the hunter, who swung the mace towards him with an angry snarl. It caught Ren around the middle, making him grunt with pain, but his talons had already sunk into the hunter's upper arm.
Really they made swift work of the first one, Aymet taking care to crack the bones before dropping the now cooling corpse and moving on. Should Remi feel any sort of remorse...?
Truthfully enough, mostly he didn't. He respected the life that was once there, but as a Hunter... she needed to die. He remembered all too well what hunters did to them.
So killing one more blossom before it had the time to bloom, only ensured some of his fellow halloweens stayed alive.
All the same though, blood now on his hands, the boil took a moment to turn and stare around the field. He caught a few faces he knew... and they were not attacking? Frowning at them, he quirked a eyebrow almost as if asking 'WELL?' at both Tybalt and Mei.
Didn't they know what hunters DID to people? Mei of all people should realize more than most. She, afterall, had something inside her she had mentioned.
AJ watched as the two joined the fight, he laughed and said with a joking tone. "Hey, you two. Don't forget about me." He wanted to give the hunter a kick, but he was like a drunken man and moved towards another direction. Jacking!
Mei caught Remi's look and returned it with a scowl and a shake of her head. She liked Remi, but she would not take part in attacking humans, if this made an enemy out of him, so be it..
Giving the Horseman a raised brow, she nodded curtly. Yes, she was feisty. She always wore her sassy pants.
She took another swipe at the Hunter, while managing to not get hit by the multitude of arrows. Yeesh, talk about friendly (okay not really friendly) fire.

"Of course not," he said with a low laugh, patting the student on the back. He jumped toward the hunter one last time. "Stick with us, you'll be fine!"
This time, when Aymet withdrew his claws from the hunter, they came away red.
"I'm Aymet, by the way," he greeted the kid, offering him a boody handshake without a second thought. He stood taller now, somehow. "I didn't catch your name...?"

Neither could he to be honest. If this didn't stop soon, then he would jump into the fray. Only, he would be fighting for a side he never expected he would.
This whole display was disgusting. Such an ugly side of Halloween.
The black dog caught the kitsune's look and returned it with a glare. As if silently asking 'how could you be a part of this?' He wished it had been someone else. Someone other than them. Because it hurt to see those he call his friends resort to such horrible actions.
Speaking of which.
A familiar gold coloured boil would find himself being dragged back and away from the slaughter, restraining him.
"Ren! Stop it! You're better than this!"
NOT ATTACKING!

The metal of her blade gleamed dully as it dripped with red. She flicked her wrist and sent splatters of blood across the ground before pausing to grin at Tseng. “Thank you very much, although I’m sorry to say that I think I can do better.” Jay raised her arm to fling the dagger once more, but a certain feline student managed to barge in briefly. Her feathers bristled at being called a pony, even though the name was fitting. “Excuse me?” she huffed before the cat scurried away to set his sights on a different hunter. A trainee, by the looks of it. She rolled her eyes. Trainees were weak, not worth her time when she had stronger hunters to deal with.
“Now,” she started as she idly twirled her blade and grinned a toothy smile. “Where was I?” The bluejay hummed once more before she flung the dagger second time.
