I would love the option to add a character bio! Or maybe something more like a journal for your character, either on the character screen or as a special item in your house. Then you could get more in-depth with your character, and put things down in their own words.

I'd really like the option to rename your character in addition to modifying their face. It'd help if you change your mind, or really want them to get a "fresh start." (Or in my case I forgot the spelling I'd used for my Khajiit's name and want to fix it. >.>; )

But really, I'd just love it if the NPC dialogue were more responsive to what you've done. Acknowledge my accomplishments and stop thinking I'm all over sweetrolls like they're Skyrim's Krispy Kremes! XD

Lack of updated NPC responses were the bane of my Skyrim existence. It's like, "I SAVED YOUR LIVES! THROW YOUR GOLD AND GROVEL AT MY FEET!" And no, they're all like, "Go fiddling with any locks around here, and you DIE!" and "Keep your hands to yourself, or you DIE!" Awfully rude response to the savior of all Skyrim!

I would love the journal thing. Even if it just updated spontaneously with the events you've experienced and goals you've accomplished like a lot of games do.

One thing I would really love, which you and I have talked about before, is being able to marry any NPC or even another player's character from a different save. I don't know how that would work, but I want my characters to marry yours. XD I do like being able to marry random NPCs, but it would be even cooler if you could marry anyone, to include Jarls. Also would be awesome if you could remarry, because I believe I read that if your spouse dies, you can't get married to anyone else. So no killing one spouse in favor of another.

wow...this is going to be a big list....give me a moment

ok first
I would be soooo happy if you got more interaction with your kids like maybe even a story line separate for each child you might be able to adopt or they could tag along on your adventures every now and again
though the big one I would love is if they could age until they become at least young adults

second
they need to bring back certain skills
unarmed acrobatics and possibly even unarmored
I want to be able to fight with my bare hands performing nice martial arts and having a defense level even without armor
though..one thing that just kills me on the inside...is not being able to jump and attack like you can in EVERY OTHER GAME
I want to be realistic yes....no arrows in the water...sure....magic...sure....but you can swing a weapon under water....cross bow under water....less effective yes....but still possible. and performing a sprint jump >w<
all good stuffs

passive abilities
a werewolf is a damned werewolf regardless as to what form he or she is in. yes ....a giant man wolf should be more powerful than its human form...but a werewolf should still be able to run faster and longer swing harder and have moderate abilities...one I thought would be really cool is a blood trail. when activated, anyone you have injured will leave a scent trail that you can follow just like that spell that lets you follow quests.
though on the subject of passive powers. I think they should have something that in general increases chances for crits if you mostly use daggers and bows. something that increases your melee damage if you mostly use one or two handed weapons.
and finally...for the moment at least cause I forgot some stuff in this catagory
your stamina health and mana would not be increased by your choice....but instead it would be increased by how much you use them
if you hop into the fray with 100 health rapidly popping potions and hacking and slashing when you fully recover from the big fight after killing like 40 dudes you now have 102 health same as stamina and same as magicka

far more detailed wars
having the options to join in on the strategy before each battle
soldiers cost money so you could pay for extra men to act as archers pay for better gear tell them
"ok I want four archers to get to high ground give them four heavy soldiers for melee protection and one restoration mage"
so you can pick and choose the ebb and flow of battle as you go out with your men and kill everything which also would fall in with
"ah man...damn...we dont have the forces to win this one....dragon born.....either use your contacts to help us...or your going to do a lot more heavy lifting."
"no problem...I am arch mage and the listener for the dark brother hood.....you will have the finest assassins and all the front line mages you need for your battle jarl ulfric"
and naval battles....yes...I want naval battles
oh and extended stories with alternate endings.
"I have won skyrim back for the empire...but I will stand here and strike you down if you do not treat the nords with respect...I have restored order ...now restore to these brave men and women their rights back."
"my Jarl.....the empire has been driven out...skyrim is free again....but upon the request of those who did not favor you actions against the previous high king....we wish for you to stand trial for what may have been an un needed death of the previous high king before you are to be made high king."
and finally
"dragon born....now that skyrim is free from one threat...its time to face the next...are you ready to take this battle to the thalmor?"

running out of space will continue on the next post
PostPosted: Sat Mar 02, 2013 4:21 am

more in depth magic
yes you can shoot flames ice and lightning
yes you can scare undead heal and put up shields
yes you can turn invisible blah blah blah blah
I want to animate piles of rocks to get up and fight, I want to attack with wind fire water lightning and earth then the combinations of such. steam sand lava ice metal. something crazy like that....
then I want to teleport to fast travel not like ~ loading~ ah your there. no like *turns into ball of light and takes off flying around everywhere*
also....to have a spell that lets you revive the recently dead using a soul gem...a filled black soul gem.
powerful advanced rituals that could be used in an end result of something. the big war with the dominion. open the doors of oblivion taking charge of an army to take down elf soldiers. strike a deal with the mad God for golden saints and dark seducers to help in the battle preparing for the big battle like in oblivion when the blades and the emperor's son prepared for the giant oblivion gate outside of bruma gathering soldiers from all the holds

I know there is a lot of mods for these things but I like to say them anyway...one more thing....is a fully balanced not cheep not over powered flint lock fire arm....you have to mine the lead you have to mine the sulfur you have to fine all the ingredients cut the fire wood for the handle find a flint load the damn thing aim carefully all that just to fire once....then reload and fire again...none of this rapid fire BS I want realism

breaking weapons...but on a realistic style....if you have some sort of legendary or enchanted high level item....no breaking.....but if your using an iron great sword on someone who is wearing ebony armor....surprise your sword breaks on your third powered swing...and just becomes a less powerful one handed weapon...granted it looks cool ish....but its weaker....and teaches you to use cheap crap against experienced warriors.
so yes...breaking weapons would be cool. maybe a few quests where you get caught and have to use crappy weapons casting them aside to pick up more very quickly.

an arena
just like all the other games...I want somewhere I can win gold....fight to the death...and this time...no announcers....lest it be a planned battle...just hop in and kill...lol
the contestants are either payed fighters or prisoners who are fighting for their freedoms because their bounty was so high they could not pay it or have it payed

ah....a dragon born unique weapon and armor...not strong as the legendaries or the maxed out enchant/smithing dragon armor or daedric but really good weapons and armor that matches up with your fighting style
if you throw fire balls...and heal yourself rapidly it will increase your mana pool and your mana regen. as well as how quickly you level the specific skills you most often use. low armor and extra damage in your most used elements. or extended time on powers. longer summons higher protection from armor spells, and that is just the armor if you play as a mage. and the look would change as you play too....your at first...rages leathery looking armor would become finer and look longer pieces would gradually shed off and you could pull the hood up over your head.
warriors would get a heavier look with plates being added knives in place such and such ^w^

back pack and weapon/armor slots
your inventory can only be accessed out of battle...everything else would be seen on you...you are wearing it...a sword on your hip or on both hips one on your back your bow still visible a knife in your boot. how many things you can add is all dependent on what armor you use....leather armor plenty of room for knives and bows. one maybe two swords. more slots and better looking as you use your smithing skill to upgrade the armor.
also...I liked it in oblivion...equip left glove...right glove left shoe right shoe on and on and on....it would be cool for certain items to be like that...more or less the non armor ones....or light armor...so it could be more mage like...more equipable items the more enchants you get ^_^

REALLLY start a family....
your husband or wife stops you to talk once and while just checking in and one thing leads to another. fades to black or ....if you have some perve mod...whatever...your wife is pregnant and one or two adventures later she is taking care of a baby. baby will grow older adventure by adventure and will grow up to look like you and who knows...maybe one day...he joins you on an adventure.
"oh noes...daddy...a dragon"
kills dragon but soul goes to child
".....ahhhhh s**t...."
"but daddy...I dont want to go to highrothgar camp >o<"

more on the next one

solve the damned dwemer mystery
......because its about damned time

options for guilds and groups
"as arch mage...I propose we go to the ancient dwemmer cities...and restart our collage there....no one would hate on us...and we could do all sorts of stuff...."
"well companions...the dawn guard needs our help....lets show those pansies how easy the moon born can make those nancies go squish.....by nancies I mean vampires......yeah....moving on"
thieves guild master heists.....no interference this time
ultimate show downs.
silver hand finally grows some balls and attacks in force all vs all...no sneak attacks no trap and kill the weak newbies
oh and more quests...important quests....lol maybe something more for the bards collage

foods to give you temporary perks
giving you a well fed bonus like it gives you a well rested bonus or a gift of charity bonus.

real criticals
head shots....you really dont walk away from those saying
"...oh...must have been my imagination...."
"I have got to stop drinking..."
"must have scared em off"
and maybe even having defeated a major foe....you dont have to run a sword through the legendary Daedric armor....but get your blade in the kink in the armor and with luck sever their entire arm making them incapable of fighting...now or ever again.

multiplayer
either an arena to show whos dragon born is best or actual dual dragon born quests.....small areas specifically for dual players. or even having your friend hop on and play as your wife husband son or daughter. or comrade in arms...lol

small traveling quest lines
if you ever seen the downloadable quest moothpath to elswere
I would love to see the ability to go to other areas in tamriel
get to go harrass the old fighters guild in bruma or something like that
going to a battle or scouting mission in the stupid gold elf area....forget where that is...
not free roam but close enough

landing parties
hanging with Jarl Ulfric and suddenly
"my Jarl....dragonborn...come quickly...the dominion has launched an invasion....just off the coast....they are sending boats to secure a piece of land to begin their invasion."
dragon born stands
"tend to your drink Jarl....I got this b***h...."
hefts hammer
XD lol

more factions
I want to join the cidjic order...or whatever they called themselves....maybe someone doesnt like the companions and wants to join the silver hand or maybe they are driven to be a douche bag and want to join the dominion you get the picture

throwing your weapons
just say your enemy is wounded and trying to get away....
"blarrrg...no one escapes the dragon born.....die"
throws great axe into back
"meow....no one gets away..."

culture shock
get some stuffs that makes a foreigner stop and ask a nord....WTF?

more enchants
like increase fire damage or faster movement speed
using souls to up your skills like, kill a mage eat the soul and get a point or two into illusion or destruction.

cure the snow elves
just what it sounds like...I am tired of looking at those fugly blue bastards

battle scars...
if you get really battered up in a fight the next few days or so you will have scars you didnt choose on your body with very slight reduced health or stats maybe your clothes and armor will get scratched and tattered. your old scars my begin to bleed again if your too rough so soon after the wounds close. also loosing fingers and eyes. recoverable through alchemy....magic.....quests.....the daedric God of wishes

steal EVERYTHING
if you kill a shop keeper or just bust in at night...he will have a safe....all you need to do is pick that lock and get all his gold....and depending on how long you have been playing and how many times you payed him or took his money by selling to him you would find however much gold and his most precious items there...things he or she would never sell.

real cooking
you can find skeever.....you can kill skeever....you can take body parts from skeever....but you cant cook skeever...
I would love it if you kill a cow you get like ten pounds of cow meat which will make like ten cooked beef....and you could litereally farm these things....wait until your cow has baby and let it grow up...kill its mommy or daddy. keeping these things on the farm supplying food to shops and such to earn money.

more daedra quests
you can pray to hercine and become a werewolf naturally. you can do things for hermaous mora and he will give you skill books....you can do missions for nocturnal and randomly find super opportune moments for riches. etc etc

I will put up more later

Kind of like how they do it in Guild Wars 2. Skip to 3:30.

Except with loaaadss more options because Nirn is so much bigger in every way. They could also let you write a small biography for your character.

Even the Sims lets you write a little character bio! I think this would be a lot of fun.

Yea I like it but dont really see a need for it since you can just make up what you want anyways no one else is going to see it or more then likely care.

Same reason you do it in the Sims. Also, it helps if you forget about your character. I've probably made half a dozen Skyrim characters and ended up deleting a few because I couldn't remember what I was doing with them. I kept a female Nord I named Mercy. She's only level 13 but married so I felt bad deleting her. But since I'd been stocking up her perk points, I couldn't remember how I'd wanted to develop her and I couldn't remember what kind of personality and stuff I'd mentally given her. Plus I've never thought up an actual history for characters, like their ages, their family history, where they were born, etc. but if I had the option to write a bio or fill that kind of thing in like a survey...wow, as a writer, that is something I would really love!
use a notepad. That is what people have done since arena.

False. I always, ALWAYS make character bios for my characters in Morrowind. During character creation you can create your character's biography, so that anytime in the menu, you can read your character's history (or class background, same thing in my case). I usually made custom classes, and then made the "class description" his or her background and training expertise. It helps you know who your character is, beyond the major and minor skills.

Features I wished existed:

No fast traveling. Oblivion ruined it for me. I loved walking everywhere in Morrowind, it was much more enriching an experience, and that was half the fun: walking somewhere and encountering something, beyond paying for travel services.

No immortal NPCs. I killed everyone in Morrowind. I killed god (Vivec). I killed the Dwarf after he made me the ghost hand thing. I killed Dagoth Ur. I killed the Urshilaku camp's people. I killed everyone at the secret monastery in the south east. It was fun.

Character biography (optionally customized or default).

Journal to keep notes in (i.e. good dungeons for treasure and unique places).

Customized spells. I was catastrophically decimated when I found out that fateful day 11/11 that Skyrim had no customizable spells since all spells were set in stone. I loved being able to create ultimate spells by my own merit and not because it was built into the game as one of thee ultimate spells for that spell-type.

Ability for your followers to hop on your horse with you.

Dragons that actually attack you instead of getting distracted by a wolf or troll that's some 500 feet away.

Gathering skills. Suffice it to say that the current "gathering" is a bit mundane and boring. I.e. hunting skills allow you to get more food from fish, more furs from animals, higher chances for antlers or claws or eyes, et cetera. Mining skills increase how many ores you get per visit. Wood gathering: you get it faster.

More varieties of weapons.

Varieties of creatures: they all look the same.

And a few more but I'm far too tired to think of them at the moment.
PostPosted: Sun Oct 13, 2013 2:29 pm

i wish there was a way to sell stolen horses. it's no good to ride them

sneakier ways of getting into buildings. also hidden paths that lead to a lookout point (sometimes, not all the time) so that you can snipe from there or at least check out the area.

i wish there was an archers guild! altho i don't know what kind of quests it would have

oceanic whirl

not sure if I posted these already but I kinda found myself writing another list. Im sure some of it overlaps but Ill throw it up here too
oh...and this was made for a youtube video so some of it is in reference to that just make of it what you will

got a few ideas for you...great stuff...and I really hope its not redundant. first falls under the advanced npcs and the guilds sort....I would call its family modifying. simply put... the people you become friends with the people you save or the people you command as their leader would genuinely care about you. just say someone the dark brother hood in its near all knowingness sees that its listener is being targeted by the dominion you would be walking along as suddenly you hear the usual stuck up douche bag sounding elves "get out of the way you are impeding blah blah blah" and a girl crying only to find that its Bobbet stalling the justicars set out after you and suddenly BAM arrows to the neck they start dropping and you can jump into the fray or let them handle it and thank them later. your friends and family really would care about you and take the time to show it. and as such they would show it in the way they talked and dealt with you...if the mages of winterhold hear about you being in the companions some would treat you with mistrust knowing or hinting at the dark secret, as the others mock you for being a barbarian, and vice versa. the companions would laugh at you about your magic or just disapprove. if your significant other you are trying to woo into marrying you sees you holding a daedric artifact she could be devote to the nine divines and just leave you a note that she couldnt be with you and she took the dog. I also really want to see you able to have your own child and culturally varying companions. yes...you can tell simply by listening to a khajiit he was not raised in skyrim...but what if one did....he would have a completely different accent and beliefs. you could have a khajiit or argonian who says clearly "a nord is a true son of skyrim...and I am a true son of skyrim and therefor a nord!"
one other great thing....I have noticed in dozens of games which is actually parodied from time to time...
three bandits sitting together seeing the dragon born do his thing. finally one turns to the others and says
"hey...you see that guy...yeah the one who just cut off that dragon's head and ate its soul....LETS MUG HIM!!!"
enemies should grow to fear you especially when you get more well known or at LEAST show a little common sense if you cleave through a group of 20 people the remaining two should piss themselves and run or if could come to a point where men would come to kill you simply as glory seeking as others would run at the sight of you even more would seek you out for training which brings up another thing....I know its complicated but wouldnt work very well. it would be cool to have the ability to train others, you would be approached by your son and he would ask you to teach him to do something you would spend a few hours, maybe fade to dark or show a little animation but in the end he would be slightly more powerful and a bit more happy more caring to you.
another thing that would be fun is discipline...as savage attacks are powerful and quick they are also inaccurate and generalized....more skilled warrior strikes are calm and calculated. they strike perfectly aiming at the vitals and are clean like the difference between a kill shot of a guy smashing someone's head with a club and one of a man whisking about with blades that only just barely clear the jugular and windpipe coming to a stop on the other side confidently knowing the enemy is dead.
one thing I really would like to see is realistic conditioning. in real life...what people can take the most damage?, the shaolin condition themselves so that they can be hung by a rope around the neck for hours at a time without any sort of restriction in bloodflow. my meaning is numbers like health, stamina, and magica should be dependent STRICTLY on how much you USE those skills. the more times you recover from in jury the more damage you can take, the more you are running about or hauling around heavy armor and gear the more stamina you have. the more spells you blast every which way the more magica you got.
one thing that I might be alone on or might not seeing how many modders failed to do this...is multiplayer....of course it would not work nearly as well. I am sure it could be done but it would not be the same experience. what I ask is that a second or third and fourth player even be allowed to control an NPC.

back to one of my first ideas of family or clan advancements. there is a grand idea I just came up with. especially if you amass a mighty fortune. what if you created a home so massive its practically your own mansion. friends or guilds that are so reliant on you would simply come to STAY with you. you save billy joe yesterday and he really had nothing going for him anyway so guess what he has thrown himself at your feet "I will guard your home with my life and grow your crops so long as I can eat at least some of what I grow"
and no I dont mean a town mod or become the ruler but simply that people change at a personal and professional manner when they meet you as they do in the real world. you could have the companions come to you asking if they could come and spar or train on your land while they wait for nightfall to hunt a great and powerful beast that is known to show up near where you live. you could refuse and they would be effected either accepting it and apologizing for putting you on the spot or treat you like a douche.

another thing is that guilds should REQUIRE the skill in relation to the guild in order to advance in this guild. you can become arch mage, master thief or well...any leader with absolutely NO skill in the area at all. one thing that ties guilds to the storyline which would be great is if your power as leader of these guilds were worth a damn. how cool would it be if you could stand up as arch mage of the winterhold college and go to ulfric and say "I will instruct our mages to assist in your war if you help restore winterhold to its proper power as high king." then see it. when you are on the field of battle you would see your dark brother hood friends hiding in the shadows, arrows flying about, at your ranks you would have the companions cleaving foes head to toe or depending on how open you were werewolves and vampires gutting every fool to cross them. you could decide whether to have outlying generals killed by the dark brotherhood before you even entered the city or have them misdirected by the thieves guild or have them rallied for a real challenge ensuring all their forces were there for one giant smash down. (that one is for the companions)
a great set up which would influence how people view you and how the game is played would be the combat effect of crippling people. and no not like in the manner you are thinking of. simply put yeah..if you cut off someone's head they die...but what if you just ran them through and left them for dead. they would be lying on the ground unable to keep you from stealing all their money and valuables. think of just destroying a field of dominion soldiers only to be faced months later by a scared high elf hell bent of vengeance more powerful than the last time with more men. this would also allow your character be be struck down but not killed. you would receive a new scar, get your gear stolen and maybe its YOU who comes back for revenge. This also would allow you to avoid moments where your favorite NPC's are killed by random vampire/dragon/bandit/dragon cult/other attacks. they would simply be hurt and you could help them up give them a potion and bandages.

more than one or even two endings would be nice. I just wish there were endings that would leave the cities in one piece after the battle was over. or a set of long missions and battles that would leave one seeing that the two forces fighting were both wrong and that they needed to focus their attentions elsewhere.

also...I do like cultural uniqueness...but elves are supposed be be beautiful not look like klingons and vampires like royalty and not like rotting pig men. yeah orcs are supposed to be ugly I can live with that but each race should be a little more stereo typical including with their religion. for instance when asked to do a task for the daedra or even carrying about a daeric weapon or artifact a nearby imperial or breton or nord would get angry or spew hateful words at you or a dark elf would comment on how blessed you were to receive the gift of nocturnal or asura.

one last thing. the bards guild....as horribly disappointing and annoying as it was...there should be a slight change an EVEN MORE groups like it...something mild someone just paying just to play would overlook or just do the "hrmf..yeah ok whatever" but someone who was a true fan who knew the lore would be able to see through and unlock whole other levels to. the bards college would face a real problem or goal and would need to succeed or fail in this real quest perhaps unlocking yet another non daedric artifact. again bringing up something I enjoyed about the dawnguard DLC and oblivion's DLC is non daedric artifacts. weapons blessed or created by the aedra or even just other people unrelated to the daedra.

I just want my own castle already. With a mannequin room that has a mannequin for every type of armor and every variant of some of the armors. I.e. Bonemold, Chitin, Steel, Iron, etc.

Right! i just want a good old mannequin house. i own all of them but three in the game now, mainly just beucase i am in love with the mannequins but it's a pain going to all of them to look at my armor!! It would be cool if you could have one weapon on the mannequin as well to complete the look

That would be glorious, Oblivion gave you a castle with some DLC and also your own tower. I wish that I could make my own spells in skyrim with multiple effects.

I wish I could make spells as well it was a fun thing that they didn't add in Skyrim but I understand why. They tried to make the magic look unique (I said tried) So my heart isn't broken over it.

Atrion Blackheart

A lot of your idea's have merit except the all npc's should be able to be killed.
The radiant AI would have them all killed off before you get to certain quests it isn't like in older games like morrowind where they just stayed in the same area not doing much. Npc's in oblivion and skyrim can wander off doing tasks and encounter an enemy and die. I know I have turned it off on Skyrim (PC version) Delphine didn't make it to her first encounter with Alduin... It was sad and I could no longer progress.
Fast travel is a choice I hate people that say it ruins the game when it is completely optional it is your fault you don't have the will power. I never fast travel and that is a choice.

You make a very fair point, but you know what? The ability for ANYONE to die gives the game more immersion and reality in a certain sense, and it gives you a reason to regret someone you've killed or allowed to be killed. As it is currently (and in Oblivion but at least Oblivion had the decency to give the player the in-game ability to discern which NPCs were invulnerable and which weren't), say with an assassin character, to try to kill someone, you have to manually figure out that you can't stop the bounty from occurring because they are immortal and you had no prior knowledge of this situation. That is very much an... immersion-breaking experience to force myself to load a past save. At the same time, it has the lovable, random quality of all the games. If you reload before you saw an important NPC die, who's to say they'll die again this time?

Secondly, regarding the issue with followers, I agree. And that's why (at least this is simply conjecture, or what I would do as a modder for PC Skyrim) if the NPCs were able to be killed by enemies as easily as they could currently without invincibility, the developers or modders would probably code some sort of combat upgrade to keep NPCs as durable as the player (not only making them seem like more challenges for NPC vs. PC, but also makes followers much more durable). Thus, when fighting dragons, for example, Delphine would have just as much chance (if not more if your character has particularly low health) to survive. See my point?

It's all in the preparation and expectations of the player. If you prepare, you and your allies live. If not, they die. Just like real life. *(Note: I am very well aware this isn't "the Sims" or something of the real-life simulation caliber, but strictly speaking of an immersive fantasy world where you can get lost in it like "real life," this is crucial to the experience.)

I know fast-travel is entirely on the player's conscience to use or not. I was excited when I first played Oblivion to find that I could fast travel freely, like in Arena or Daggerfall. But unlike those two games, everything in Morrowind and beyond is hand-crafted, not half-randomly generated.

Essentially, though in some cases I can clearly see advantages, this caused the majority of players who use fast-travel to utterly skip out on half the game. Why walk to Whiterun if you're all the way in Solitude if you can fast-travel? Seems logical from a certain time-efficient point of view, but then you (hypothetically) miss out on all the lands the creators painstakingly created, all the random bandit and creature encounters, a dragon or two might attack you, you may find a new quest from someone on the side of a road, or see a dungeon you'll want to explore later. Not to mention the endless amounts of harvestable flora and fauna. If I was a creator (which I am in school for by the way, I was really inspired by TES series) that built all of this, I would feel a bit sad that players utterly pass up all my hard work just to do quests and make money.

It's not all bad, but it can limit the player's experience, and therein lies my problem. But what can I say? I'm guilty of fast traveling while under the effects of an enhance carry weight potion once or twice. Though I much prefer adventuring to fast traveling, I know full and well the urgency to upgrade, enchant and sell everything from the last delve.

I suppose I was a bit "harsh" saying I wouldn't want ANY fast traveling, but I still think it should be somehow... lessened from the extent that it is. Somewhat more akin to Morrowind where "taxi" services will take you to certain points for gold, but after that it is entirely upon the player to travel by foot or horse.

This is all just conjecture and point of view though, and I am fully aware and mostly pleased with the game as it is. These are just minor discrepancies and absolutely not enough to get me to stop playing my favorite fantasy RPG series.

would a multiplayer version be too much to ask for?
not like a second player just as important as the first but a customizable character follower who your friend can poke in and play as from time to time
