 Lucian looked around at everything in the museum and was amazed, he had never been in such a place before full of expensive and rare items. He was afraid he may break something but nodded at Blake's comment about the gems being the only things taken "Well then obviously the thieves weren't after money. They wanted the gems for the magical properties, or to lure us here. One of the two." He said skeptically.

Detective Blake  Detective Blake looked over at Lucien. "Lure you here? Hmm....that's strange. Detective Meyers was the one who suggested we ask the DWMA for help." He shrugged his shoulders. "I'm sure it's just a coincidence. Right now let's focus on finding the gems." He led them into a smaller room down one of the many hallways that led from the main room. Inside the room were three glass cases, each one was titled as one of the gems and each one was empty. "As you can see, they weren't forced open, and there's no way Priestess Nali or Captain Sandy would be able to have a key. The third person must have been someone on the inside." He walked slowly around the empty cases. "Someone who would have access to the keys without it looking suspicious. They must have unlocked the three cases and took one for themselves, leaving the other two for the other two thieves."

He could over hear the sound of music and animals, better yet he could smell the smoke of a barn-fire. Moving at a fairly slower pace, he stealthy observes the camp from a distance. An odd reason that there was no one in sight but a few grass hut. "Do you sense anything" whispering almost to Michi and sets her down. Oddly enough there wasn't something right about this village. "It looks like the thief went through here or is still here."

Passing into the shadows and up to the grass hut. The music amplified drastically as they got closer to the source of where the beat was coming from. The cold damp air was giving him the goosebumps. Is there a ritual being performed or what? Also what was the toll if the sapphire was to be use?

As the two approached one of the grass huts, a loud rustling sound could be heard from it. The hut began to shake and suddenly exploded as a creature emerged, standing to it's full height.  "Well, well, well. They promised me prey would be here soon," it said in a deep, booming voice. "It seems they were telling the truth!"

The faint presence from before now emerged out to the surface. The grass hut they were nearby suddenly exploded and came forth a creature. It was looked similar to an arachnid except more ugly. Reacting by instincts he grabbed onto Michi and leaped back with her to avoid the first assault. "I am sorry to spoil your meal but, it seems they have lied to you. We are the predators."

Once the grass hut suddenly burst, she couldn't see what or who it was getting pulled and leaps back sliding in place, looking at what it appears to be a mutant arachnid even much more creepy. Michi dusts herself the dirt off her dress tilting the hat into a different position. "Listen here, brutti. We don't want to start up trouble, si? LethalGin "It looked similar to an arachnid except more ugly." I don't know why but that statement literally made me laugh out loud xp The spider boomed at them. "We'll see who's the predator when I'm crunching on your bones!" The spider reared back and barfed a stream of acid at them, aiming to drench them in it. His purple eyes glowed with evil as he attacked.

 Madilyne May ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Madilyne arrived a while later panting and near out of breath from axiety and worry. When she got off at the place she was putting back up one of her pigtails that had fallen down and stopped just a foot or so away from who she was supposed to meet. "Sorry...I'm late....demon....captured....took forever....to escape...." she panted and took a moment to mellow out and focus. ~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

He leaps away from the acid in the n** of time, hopefully it didn't hit Michi. My god the stench from the acidic fluid smelled almost like decaying human amino acid from their stomachs. Landing on his side he quickly gets up and scans their environment for what to use. his cloak got hit by some of the acid when he had jumped. Quickly he throws the cloak aside and watches it decay all the way. "Tricky b*****d..." he draws forth some deadly darts and chucks them swiftly at the being's eyes.

"ho ho ho ho!" The spider laughed as it lowered it's head. The darts bounced harmlessly off the chitinous mask. "You will never guess my weak point!" The spider barfed another stream of acid, this time at Kaze. "You'll be in my web before the sun sets!" He promised them.

Detective Meyers
 Detective Meyers gave a small smile as the final student got off the boat. "Well, I'm glad you escaped," he told her, unsure what to say about her being captured by a demon. "And it's quite alright. The other two teams have already left to find the other two Sapphires. That leaves the Sapphire of Sorrow that was stolen by Captain Sandy." He pulled out a map and pointed to a location of a nearby cove. "We know she's around here somewhere. The problem is that we don't have the forces to go look and of course she's protected by her pirate crew on her ship the Wavedancer." He folded the map and handed it to her. "Also, one thing you should know: Captain Sandy is crafty. She rarely keeps her treasure near her. Sometimes she buried it somewhere or leave it later so she can come get it after things cool off." He gave her a thin smile. "Is there anything you need?"
