Relief washed over the life trainee as she finally stepped out of the danger zones and back to a much safer existance outside of that tower. A very delighted, tired but delighted, Sherry grinned at Jake. "There. I didn't die." It was true, and she was proud of the fact. [A.V.] Look! I Finished it! xD (omg. Did I do that right?)

Jake had gotten bored and was currently lying on his back, staring up at... nothing in particular.
He should have left, really, but for some reason, he didn't. Maybe it had to do with Chester's incessant nagging, or maybe he wanted to see Sherry complete it too.
... It was probably the former.
"Oh. Good job. Do you want a pat on the back?"
He didn't bother moving.

Her grin fell, replaced with something...well, it wasn't a frown. His words sounded nice enough, at first. But, he had said "Good job". Which for Jake...
"Thanks." She was smiling again. "Though I must admit I'm pretty beat. A pat on the back might be nice." Yes, a pat on the back every once in a while would be nice. Sherry idly wondered if there was anywhere on this island to get a decent back rub. Probably not.
She stood over Jake and looked down. "How are you feeling?"

He didn't bother responding, frowning at her reply, and only stared at her when she peered down at him.
Slowly, he closed his eyes, and it looked as if he had drifted off to sleep, but he took a deep breath and opened them again, the stare turning into a glare.
"Bored. You took too long. I could be training right now."

Sherry scowled. "You were just training," she made a large gesture, more or less at everything. "Sheesh."
Then she shrugged. "Well. You can stay here and nap if you want. I'm going to go grab some food." Since, you know, she had more or less already had a nap today.
She turned, took two steps and stopped. "Shall I assume you aren't going to join me?"

Ignoring her remark, he pushed himself off the floor and gave her a bored look.
"I could be training MORE."
There was no such thing as too much training.
"You assume correctly."
He waved his hand dismissively in the air before heading back to his room.
