Ears alert for danger as Swan rooted around inside, she was suddenly bonked on the head by something. Blinking and rubbing her head, she glanced up before glancing down at the carrot Swan had pushed out. "Oh nicely done!" she whispered as softly as she could, trying to hide that that in fact gave her quite the startle and wrapped her paws around the carrot. "Any more luck there Swan?"  ooc: JUST GIVE ME A HEART ATTACK MKAY LOOLOLOL

"Good job," Kalei praised, her voice quiet but still audible to the group around her. She bunched up some of the flayrah that fell near her, but made no move to grab them just yet. There may come a time when she'd need what weapons she had, teeth included.

Raven was pleased that Swan stepped up to the challenge, even a little proud that her order had made him move so quickly. He seemed to have hit the jackpot too, as the carrots started to spill out one by one. "Good good, keep em coming" she eyed the direction where the rowf slept, wondering how much longer they had before it woke up and decided to rip their ears off for sport. Suddenly as the carrots stopped flowing and Swan's voice echoed through the air Raven snorted, rolling her eyes in the direction of the bin, "That's right Swan make lots of noise. Have you not been listening to a word I've said? Someone help him pull the rest out will you? I need to keep watch here."

Pepper turned his gaze towards Raven. She was being much too harsh with Swan. Couldn't she tell the smaller rabbit had been terrified? "Relax a little Raven, we have plenty of look outs, a little noise won't make too much of a problem."

 Betony was unimpressed with what the warren had to offer for the raid. Does! There were only three bucks on their team... all the other bucks were nothing more than a bunch of stupid, lazy, do nothing layabouts! The owsla and runners included.
No matter. She tried to focus on gathering the flay-rah while keeping a ready out for elil. She stayed silent - you wouldn't find her waking a pfeffa by gabbing away, no sir.

 +Swan-Song+ Swan continued pushing out what he could, some he did not wish to touch, their smell wrong or sour. He heard the others muffled voices and flinched as Raven scolded him for his noise. He had not thought to keep so quiet in the bin. He pushed the rest of what he could out before he scrambled up the bin and with a harsh wiggle he fell to the ground. Panting and his white fur gritty he shuttered but glanced to the other bin. “Do I go in that one to?” he was hunkered low to the ground, his ears flat and his eyes large. He was unsure now what to do, could they carry what they had, or did he bring more out? He looked to Raven with some fear before looking at the others as he waited. (( ooc: ))

 Anisthary said nothing as the others spoke. “A lot of scouts won’t make up for silence.” She commented softly. “But at the same time he is clearly terrified.” She stated again. “Perhaps we all just need t relax a bit.” She stated again, her voice feather soft as she went back to looking around. She would not be caught off guard and she would not let them be caught off guard. At least she hopped not, though Swan really could stand to be a touch quieter and Raven could stand to relax a little. The whole team was wound into knots and if they weren’t careful things could end badly for them.

As Pepper surveyed the amount of food before them, he felt they had collected enough at least for this raid. There would be more before the harsh winter took the land that was for sure. "Alright Swan I think we have enough"

Raven glared at Pepper and was tempted to give him a good n** on the ear before she took a deep breath in and composed herself, "If you say so Pepper. If that rowf wakes up before we're through I'll be sure to let you handle it. Afterall you obviously have everything under control." she had intended for this to sound very sarcastic but whether or not the others picked up on it she hadn't a clue- or care really. Raven picked up on Anisthary's comments but decided to ignore them. Shuffling in place restlessly her foot touched something and Raven glanced down at it with a start, "WHA- oh... hm seems I found some flayrah" she put her back paw on it to claim it as her own. "Fantastic."((OOC: She's a butthead ^^;; I feel bad being mean to you guys <333))

Actually, a little noise might. She thought the comment instead of voicing it, and she didn’t need to because Anisthary had done that for her. Tensions seemed to be running so high already, and while some felt the need to speak when nervous, that wasn’t at all going to aide them on this raid. She turned to glance back at the food bins where Snow was, her eyes narrowed as he sent flay-rah raining down around him. If he caused any harm to befall Anis, he would regret it. However, everyone seemed to have something to say about his loud mouth, and they were only adding to the noise.
Her ache returned in that moment, threatening to take her to the earth, and she let out a quiet yowl. She had stifled it to the best of her ability and did not move. Frozen and waiting she hoped to Frith it had not been loud enough to wake that mongrel so they could move on without a hitch. She promised herself that this persistent ache would not compromise her, and she was still planning on making good on that.

Groaning in his sleep, the hound lifted his head and yawned. Something had woken him. A noise, perhaps. Scratchings.
Shaking his head and letting his ears flap about wildly, he caught scent of something then and became interested.
Getting up and leaving his house, he looked around and could see movement against the side of Master's house.
Growling, he moved forward as far as his chain would allow...

"You did well," Kalei agreed. He was evidently stressed and worried, but brave, too, for offering to continue despite that. More food would never hurt but, for the moment, she was glad Pepepr was suggesting a retreat for now. In any case, they wouldn't be able to carry too much food at once, and it seemed best for them to take what they had for now and return later on if they could.
Suddenly, a suppressed yowl could be heard, and Kalei turned quickly to face the culprit. She stretched a paw curiously towards the other with one ear cocked inquisitively, silently asking if the female was all right.
Before she could wait for a response, however, a more threatening noise caught her hears: the clink of chains. She froze.

Betony doubted telling that monster Althea's daughter to shut up would go very well, but that didn't mean it wasn't tempting. Hadn't they just said silence was important? Pepper had called for a retreat and that was good. She started to gather flayrah, but froze as she heard the clink of chains.
