"Ack!" What the Hel? Titus struggled to pull Hel's fingers from his nose, rubbing at his nostrils tenderly. He only barely heard the Valkyrie's little addition and struggled to add his own two cents but not before bringing his free hand around to place a thumb on one side of Hel's face and his fingers on the other so that he could squeeze forcing her lips into a fish face.
"So after her confessions of love I finally realized I could do much worse. I didn't want to go over the top asking her out but I decided to do something nice. So -"

The reaper was muted by fish face. She was also dying at her confessions of love bit. Scowling, though it came out as a spitting stupor from the hold Titus had on her face, Hel lifted a steel plated heel and dug it right into the foot of her date. So much for playing the affectionate, demure, and loving ghoulfriend.
“—So after I admitted to having an interest in him—“ She vehemently corrected, shooting the demon a glare. “Because it is too soon to be throwing around the word love—So he took me to an one-seed movie theater and—“

It took all Titus had not to shout as Hel's heel found his toes. His eyes twitched and he cringed away, pulling his hand from her face and balling it into a fist. At that moment he wanted nothing more than to punch Hel in the face but he knew that wouldn't exactly come off as the best boilfriend behavior.
He quickly came around and jabbed Hel in the side instead to shut her up before ruining his good name and continued. "But that was only a joke." He assured his Uncle who raised a brow at him. "After I took her to a nice dinner and she devoured the meal. I footed the bill and I didn't get so much as a thanks but I didn't let that deter me. After-"

Hel leapt away from Titus and squealed as he jabbed her side. It was somewhat of a sensitive spot and she was ticklish when poked right, okay? She shot him a glare, and then lunged back over, wrapping her arms tightly around his slim waist and crushing him to her.
“—Because he said to think nothing of it. After it was then that he begged me to be his ghoulfriend because he knew I would be the best and—“

When Hel leaped back into action and wrapped her arms around his waist Titus suddenly found it was hard to get a decent breath as she crushed his midsection. He tried to wiggle his way free but once again she was proving stronger than she looked. The only thing he could managed was to take in a short breath and rasp out an ending hoping that would just bring the story to a close.
"The best I could do for now and we've been together every since." Titus started to wheeze from lack of oxygen, his fingers trying to pry Hel's arm away.
"Well uhh," Morpheus looked thoughtful scratching lightly at his beard. "That was....quite the tale." He smiled but there was something in his smile that showed he wasn't entirely convinced. "But I have dinner nearly ready." He clapped his hands together looking eager. "If you two would like to have a seat in the dinning room through here I'll be out with it soon enough."
He gestured to a room off to the side. There was a long wooden table set and ready for them. A fireplace was crackling with bright amber flames keeping the room toasty and comfortable. The same theme seemed to spread into this room. There were random nick knacks from all over. Tea pots of all sizes, pictures, and paintings. Even small figures that wore fancy clothes. The only thing that seemed to have a constant was the Christmastival decorations the man had already put up for the season.

Hel shot Titus a glare, and released him as soon as his Uncle ushered them to the dining room.
Well that went…horribly. Not the good kind of horrible either. Oh well. After being ushered, Hel ended up drifting from the current room towards the dining room, easily drawn in by all the random knick knacks and of course, the roaring fire place. It really reminded her of home. She leaned to inspect some of the knick knacks curiously, and when it was just her and Titus in the room, she looked over at him and spoke lowly.
“Your uncle is nothing like you…what happened?” ‘To you’ was implied.

As soon as Hel released him Titus wheezed as he caught his breath, trying to make a show that it was only something they did playfully. Once his Uncle was well out of sight he heaved a heavy sigh and slouched where he stood. This was going terribly.
"What...happened?" Titus' eye began to twitch as he whirled around to stare at the wingless Valkyrie. "What happened is none of your business and mostly I think you should be focusing on being a good ghoulfriend! This isn't very convincing." It was a whispered shout. Just enough volume to give an indication of his rage but not enough to carry beyond the room. "What were you even doing? I had the story covered all you had to do was nod and smile." Really he felt he had done all the work.

Hel stopped looking at the knick knacks to turn around and level the utmost flat look at Titus, resting her hands haughtily on her hips. “A good ghoulfriend would not let you make her out to be some bumbling, brainless twit!” She hissed back. “Because that was the story you were spinning for your Uncle! Like Jack I would let you do that to me, deal or not! Also, telling me your stories ahead of time would be rather helpful! One does not always charge into battle without a plan!”
She stuck her tongue out at him then. Because that was really mature.

Titus sneered, drawing his upper lip back from his teeth. "Don't go into battle without a plan? You are miss jump in head first without thinking." He rose his hands and gestured around. "Why else would you be here?"
He stuck his tongue out at her in return because an immature action required an immature response. Yep. That was how the world worked.
"He probably already suspects something is off so try not to act any crazier than-"
"Foods up!" His Uncle came into the room wheeling a cart brimming full of covered dishes.
Titus gave Hel one last warning glance before he made his way to the table to have a seat. Just as he was about to sit down Morpheus approached and smacked the back of his head.
"Ow! What was that-?"
"Make sure your ghoul is seated and taken care of before you sit down yourself." He said sternly.
Titus tried not to huff as he got back up and moved to the chair next to him and pulled it out gently. "Come have a seat....screechheart." That word tasted bad in his mouth.

“That is the pot calling the kettle black!” She replied, and bristled as Titus stuck his tongue back out at her. How dare he! She was about to flip him the bird when the arrival of his uncle prompted her to well…behave. A bit. She mentally grumbled to herself. Be quiet and smile he said. That was the ideal ghoul friend, he said. Jack. Hel really, really, really wished she was out eating sushi with Mac right now…
Now she was thinking. Follow what Titus suggested…it didn’t seem appealing…but that streak in her, that really wanted to rub his face in what a good job she could do, was kicking in. Could she act docile though? Ugh. Thinking about it helped her as she moved over to take a seat near the nightmare demon, and was drawn out of her thoughts at the sound of his Uncle whapping his head. Oh…wait…gross. Titus was pulling out a chair for her? This made every fiber in her body want to revolt. She wasn’t some damn flimsy flower that needed her chair pulled out---jfwkegfwgkjkg.
Hel managed an oddly appreciative smile, and slid into the chair after it was pulled out. “Thank you.” She replied, her voice also oddly devoid of any sarcasm, and instead expressing gratitude. She was silent for a moment before she decided to try and strike up civil conversation.
“Ah…sir?” This was directed at his uncle, of course. “…I see a lot of different items around the room…have you been all around Halloween?”

"Welcome Honey Bat." Titus wanted to puke as he pushed Hel's chair back in for her and took a seat again. His Uncle nodded approvingly and set out the covered dishes along the table for easy reach. When he pulled the covers away they would find copious amounts of food. Some sort of roasted bird, seasoned and cooked to a golden brown. Sides that ranged from simple dishes to elaborate and fancy. It was odd how it all looked diverse much like the trinkets in Morpheus' house but at the same time it all complimented one another.
As soon as Hel piped up with a question though Titus turned toward her with wide eyes shaking his head. He was trying to give her a cut off, turn back while you still can look but as soon as he heard his Uncle chuckle he knew it was too late. He couldn't even keep himself from smacking his forehead into the empty plate in front of him. Surely he wouldn't tell her ALL of his stories.
"As a matter of fact I have," Morpheus nodded with a grin, taking a seat himself once the food was out. He ignored Titus' display as he leaned against the table and looked fondly around the room at some of the items. "In fact, most of these I got on an adventure of sorts."
"Uncle, she really doesn't want to hear-"
"Shh, now I'm talking." He gave Titus a shooing motion with his hand before he looked off into the distance rather thoughtful about his past. "I was a young lad when I started traveling. Probably no older than the two of you and with a nose for trouble." And thus began the three hour tale of the oddest adventure of all time. / Laziness.

Hel ignored Titus, after all, this was about making a good impression for his family, and if that required a bit of a** kissing, she could play that game. So when his Uncle launched into a three hour story, that was okay. Why? Because Hel stuffed her face the entire time. She nodded her head to show that she was listening, but she stuffed her face.
That wasn’t all though.
At time point, she kicked off her boots and her stockings to get comfy…and then her mind also wandered and she wasn’t exactly good at sitting still. Amusement needed to be had as his uncle droned on in the background. Hel glanced at Titus out of the corner of her eye at one point, and hid a smirk behind her napkin. She then started to play footsies with the demon.
Yup.
Her toe reached out and started to slide underneath his pant leg where she felt the first brush of cool skin.
The reaper wanted amusement, and she’d get it.

About an hour into the story Titus' brain had started to go numb. He had heard this tale over and over and over and over again. He even mimicked some of the highlights because he had heard it that often. Apparently it was a favorite story for his uncle to tell and unlike Hel, Titus didn't have food to distract him. He didn't touch a thing his Uncle had set out but apparently that was to be expected. A place had been set for Titus but his Uncle did not urge him to eat. Instead he continued his thrilling tale about a one armed prostitute who had apparently saved his life and was also the reason he had a rather handsome clap on lamp since she couldn't use it.
It was also to be expected that Titus had no idea that this story was about to take a rather odd turn and not on his Uncle's part. The initial touch to his leg had him shifting, thinking BB was running around under the table but when he felt that touch creep under his pant leg to touch skin to skin he froze. Slowly the nightmare demon's head turned, his expression something close to having been spooked, his lips silently asking 'What the hell are you doing?'

Okay…Hel wasn’t really paying attention to the story anymore. She knew it was still happening because of the droning in the background…but she hopefully wouldn’t be quizzed later, because she wouldn’t know a thing. Hel glanced at Titus out of the corner of her eye, seeing him mouth his question, she though her mouth was hidden from view from his uncle by a napkin…Titus could clearly see the smirk that pulled at her lips.
She trailed her toe up and up, trailing up and around his calf now and her toe lingered there. The ghoul also decided that she needed to have more fun…and reached out to a nearby plate of sausages and plucked up on in her hand. ‘I love sausages.’ She mouthed back, and nipped at the end of it. “Mmmmm…”

What was....what was she doing? Why was she still doing that??? Titus' brows knitted together and he tried to shuffle away from her probing foot only to end up aiding her in rising his pant leg up his calf. An odd shiver ran down his spine and he turned to try to now focus on his Uncle's thrilling tale. It was a much needed distraction. Unfortunately it wasn't enough.
His eyes turned back toward Hel as she proclaimed her love of sausage. Titus was no newbie when it came to innuendos but he was really hoping that...she really did just like sausage. He watched her n** at the tip and a few small beads of sweat began to break out on his brow. This went from awkward to uncomfortable.
