Beatrice heard Alice's name but just let it slip. After they get out, would they see each other anymore? Names didn't matter. She did agree with the idea though of going to the maze and finding all the characters, the more pawns to use, the better . . .
Beatrice then was quite disappointed how she was not able to see the screen. But was glad that the tall girl was able to. Maybe she would elaborate for everyone. She then saw the girl's eyes widen, almost like the time hers did when her parents died, but nearly as close as that. She was about to ask what had happened, almost like the time she did when she had heard of her parents when the girl, as Beatrice predicted, elaborated for us. She froze for a second, but then realized that life was also like that, you get one chance. Blow it like you do in a car crash and you're done. The thought made her light, as if she was flying.
She heard everything and then started contemplating on what to do. He was right, splitting up did cover ground and she as well didn't want her new ears gone. Beatrice was quite surprised. She did not want to be a video game character. GOD well, she still had some Calculus to do when she get's home! "I'm on splitting up." she decided after some thought, "I think we would cover more ground, just as blondie er---Todd here said."

Leerin turned towards Beatrice. Then looked over at Murakami. "Lets split into groups of two, that way if something happens there will be someone to help." she looked from one person to the next. "So..Um..who goes with who?" she smiled softly.

As Mika loudly stomped through the bushes, she heard something, or someone behind her. "Who's there?!?"Mika whirled around, hoping to catch whoever was following her. No one...Still on her guard, Mika continued trudging through, and out of pure curiosity, decided to pull up her menu. Huh. The Hatter? This looks just like an MMO but still...looks like I have good INT, good LUK, DEX isn't bad either, she thought. Taking a quick peek at her inventory, she was a little startled to see that she owned, x1 Handgun as one of her items. Or rather, she shouldn't be surprised. This game may be a maze, but there were sure to be some type of monsters. There. That rustling again. Mika decided to see who it was, and hid behind one of those huge mushrooms. A few seconds later, something that she couldn't quite make out what it was stepped into view. A four of diamonds, human-sized, and walking along as it hadn't a care in the world. But no, it was more then that. It bristled with some sort of weapon in it's hand, and seemed to be extremely intimidating. Mika let out a small squeak. The card soldier turned around, and ran towards where Mika was hiding. "Aahhh!" Mika started running as fast as possible, with the card soldier in close pursuit. Pulling up her inventory list yet again, she equipped the gun and tried to aim as accurately as possible while moving. When the card got closer, Mika noticed that it had a red cursor and a HP bar over it. I guess I'll have to stand down and get rid of this thing!Bursting into a clearing, Mika briefly noticed four other people before just as quickly turning around, and shooting the card.

Emiko still had a slightly bad feeling about splitting up...but if that's how everyone felt she had no objections. Looking around, she knew that Rin's voice was still bothering Todd and Beatrice's ears."How about me and Rin can be one group, and Todd and Beatrice can be another? That is if you guys don't mind who your with. Does that sound fair to everyone?", she asked as she glanced around. Sure Rin's voice irritated her ears when she was yelling, but they didn't really hurt anymore. She guessed it was because her ears were okay with it, or because her hat was blocking most of the sound out. A sudden gunshot startled her, causing her ears to ring for a second or two. She glanced over and saw a girl, whose role seemed to be the Mad Hatter. She appeared to be fighting...a card soldier?"Looks like we found the Mad Hatter, but is she fighting a card soldier!?"Emiko unconsciously ran over to the girl. She felt like she had to help. But what could she do? She then noticed the girl's gun. Did she get it from her inventory? Emiko focused for a bit, until her menu screen popped up. Yes! She opened her inventory, and found...a chainsaw!? Why would a dormouse- Oh well, it would work! She equipped the chainsaw, which was much lighter to her than it looked, and brought it down onto the card.

"I think that is a great idea." Leerin said quickly also jumping as she heard the gun go off. She ran after Murakami. Leerin stopped in her tracks when she saw Murakami pull out the chainsaw and hit the card soldier. She hurried over to the Mad Hatter girl. "Um..Miss are you ok?" She asked with a short smile. "Um..Murakami where did that chainsaw come from?" Leerin asked curiously.

Todd didn't bother to hide relief at not being partnered with Banshee. It was a blessing! A freaking Blessing. "You'll hear no complaints from me with being partnered with Munchkin here. I could Kiss you Squeaks, but I'm afraid I charge for those," he thanked, even throwing in a joke and nicknames. He brought up his menu once more and pulled the arrowgun(x2) out of his inventory to equip. He wondered how the game company was able to sneak that in here. the menu closed and he rested one on his shoulder. "Which way do you wan to ta-" before Todd could even finish, another player burst into their clearing... with buddies. He could do without the gunshot though, because either way they still made his ears ring.
"Yeah, and she brought a party with her," he commented on the card soldiers, as he flicked the arrowguns to load them. He quickly wiped out one that was following the Hatter and her engaged foe, that Murakami didn't notice. Never before has he felt so bad a**, and a plus the Arrowguns didn't hurt his ears.
Now that he thought about it, "Munchkin, check your inventory and get out your weapon, MMO means ever spawning enemies up the Wazoo."

Beatrice heard some shots with her ears and wondered who that was, shivering at the thought of a gunshot. She had watched a lot of movies full of those, but the thought of being in something like a movie with someone with a gun scared her half-to-death. It beat car crashes by a long shot. She glanced over to who Emiko was looking at and couldn't helo it. "We should help her! " she shouted, but how? She looked down at herself and she didn't even know what kind of weapon she had, what her abilities even were.
She heard the Blondie tell her to pull up her inventory and she nodded slowly and then tried, concentrating. After some time, she was actually finally able to do it and what came up? A book. Beatrice clicked it and then sighed. "HOW THE HELL DOES THIS HELP?!" she shouted as she flipped through the blank pages, "I NEED A WEAPON! NOT AN ENCYCLOPEDIA!" she didn't want to say it, but she did think of using those at the time. The mere utterance of those words turned the book into a boomerang larger than she was and she stepped back a little, afraid to even touch it.
"It" was brown, covered in pink ribbons, and in the middle there was a clock. Beatrice hesitated a little to pick it up, but when she did, it was as light as a feather and she heard a click as the watch moved, the minute hand moving. Feeling like she should help now after hearing a gunshot, Beatrice threw the boomerang and it hit 3 cards at once, making their life go down and then it came back to her, the watch minute hand clicking again.

Leerin watched as they each pulled out a weapon/ encyclopedia. She looked to see if she had anything that could help them, but she was suprised at what she found her weapon looked to be a scythe. Leerin smiled suspiciously the walked calmly towards a large group of card soldiers. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath.
Leerin set one foot back and spread her hands out on the handle of the scythe. She quickly opened her eyes and swung the scythe in a fast solid motion. "Take this!!" she said in a calm almost soothing voice as the card soldiers all flew back as her blade hit them.

Charles had woken up somewhere where there were flowers around and sat up, wondering where he was. He looked around to see large Lilies and flowers of the kind as well as mushrooms that rose seemed to be just a little taller then he was. Charles was about to scratch his head when he looked at his hand. "A half-glove?" he asked aloud as she looked at it, "not too shabby." He then looked at himself who was wearing a white suit with little golden things and chains on it and smiled after seeing a sword tied around his waist. "This isn't too shabby either." he continued as he stood up and wiped himself off, "Pretty interesting for a game, it's got the reality in virtual down."
Charles decided to walk around and looked around to see if they had nailed everything down in the game. Well, the graphics were cool, he could even touch it! So far, he's been giving it 5 stars. Before doing this though, he hard pulled up his menu to see what he was and didn't mind. He suited it. Amazing speed, suitable dex., a good attack. Hey, they gave him a sword. He loved the place already. "Whoo~" he said after climbing on top of one of the mushrooms, "this is cool~" Charles was able to see everything in sight, including the group fighting with a bunch of cards. He watched for a little bit and then got bored and decided to jump mushroom by mushroom to join them.
He arrived at the scene behind the Hatter and cut down a card that was just about to attack her. Charles then proceeded toward the mouse, whom helped her get a card that was going to attack her to her side. Charles, with grace and agility, moved his sword around like it was a second arm for him. Of course, all this came from practice. How many times had he picked up a sword after he had gotten bored at whatever he was doing? Many times. He then moved over back-to-back with the hare, guarding him from the card that was coming up behind him. Well, the White Knight sure was having fun!

After watching the card explode into blue polygons, the sounds seemed to have attracted another group of cards who quickly started attacking the other people. Mika spun around and started shooting the card behind her, not noticing that one card's weapon was about to crash down on her head. The whooshing sound of a blade cut through the air, and Mika turned around to see her savior. "Thanks!" she shouted, then turned around again to deal with the other cards. The girl who seemed to be Alice was fighting a group of cards at once, the white rabbit and march hare were each tackling a group over there, and the newcomer was gracefully moving around, taking care of the ones that the others were not aware of. Finally, all but one card was left, and Mika repeatedly shot at it, watching it explode into bits. She addressed everyone. "Thanks. I'm assuming you guys are also players stuck in this death game?"
Leerin kept on twisting and turning. Slashing her blade around. After a few minutes she completely stoped she looked around and saw that all of the soldiers had been taken care of by every one else. "It's nothing." she said with a smile turning to look at the girl whe had thanked them. "My name is Leerin but you can call me Rin for short. Will you come with us to find a way out of this sick game?" Leerin held her hand out for the girl to shake.
"I got it from my inventory!"Emiko called back to Rin as she continued to saw up any card soldier that came near her. At one point she failed to notice a card that came at her by her side, but was saved by a new person, who appeared to be a "White Knight" or something."Thanks!" She called back as she sawed down another card. When all the cards were taken down, she strapped the chainsaw over her shoulder, and walked over to everyone."No problem! That was actually kinda fun", she said when the "Mad Hatter" thanked them."And yep, were all from the gaming center. I'm Emiko Murakami by the by. But you can call me Emiko or Emi for short, geez how many times have I said that today?", she joked as she decided to sit down on the ground."Who are you guys? By the way y'all are dressed, I take it your 'roles' are the Mad Hatter and...a White Knight? As you can probably guess we've been assigned the Dormouse, White Rabbit, March Hare, and Alice. Since I'm pretty sure everyone can agree we're not wearing the same thing we were when we left our houses this morning."

"Sonovabitch." Illex muttered as he sat up and rubbed his back, one of his golden eyes shut in pain as he stared up at the tree he had been napping on."What kind of ******** game design spawns a player where it KNOWS they're going to fall down?" He yelled out loud, whispering swear words under his breath as he pushed himself off the ground, staring at his HP bar in the upper left hand corner of his vision, which had lost a few points. Sure, Ilex knew that he couldn't feel the pain when he had fallen from the tree. But man, was that annoying as ********. He had been playing this wonderland game for about a day already, still without any recollection of who exactly he was in real life. All he knew was his name, what color the sky was [which seemed to be a purple-ish color in this game], and that he was, in fact, in a game. It seemed that he was alone at first. Nobody had been around the entire game except for himself, which gave him a head-start in leveling up and grinding on crappy card monsters. He also found a nifty scarf mysteriously hidden in his inventory with a butt-load of defense. Well, he knew what kind of player he was. Already at level 14 from his previous leveling, and most of his stat points loaded into his STR and END, he felt as if he was on the road to becoming quite the expert tank.
As Ilex looked around the rather large field full of grass and flowers, he raised an eyebrow when he heard the clinking of swords, gunshots, and some shouts coming from father away. So the others had arrived. It seemed odd to him that he was loaded into the game earlier than the other players, but he shrugged it off. There must have been an early release or something. Taking the pipe that had fallen on the ground next to him, he shoved it in his mouth at an angle and began to walk towards the sounds of battle with a curious incentive. He was used to the game by now, but still didn't quite know what the purpose of it was. Nor why he couldn't remember who he was or how to get out of it. All he knew about the game from his previous day of training was that there was a weird-a** maze that made him get lost way too many times, and that loosing HP and MP was a bad thing.
Walking, Ilex couldn't help but ponder over what he would do if he did find more players in the game. He was actually enjoying the serenity of the loneliness that had surrounded him, and if more players were joining, then that would quickly end. As Ilex reached to where he could only assume more players were located, he dodged behind a short bush and watched the players with an inquisitive face, not really sure what to do with them. He knew his real self had seen the movie Alice in Wonderland many times, for some weird-a** reason, and so he could only take a quick guess at who was who. In his crouching position, he gnawed at the end of his pipe and took a whiff inwards, then outwards, as he squinted his eyes and counted on his fingers. At least he couldn't spot that evil queen character.
Scratching his chin with his finger, he didn't really like the look of this large group of players already. They seemed to be trying to organize something, and yet they also looked rather out of sorts in what exactly they were doing. They did buy the game, for ******** sake. Wouldn't they have researched a little before-hand? As he sat back and ranted to himself in his head, he barely noticed the smoke coming from the pipe out of his nose, making it look like the bush was actually on fire if you looked at it from the wrong angle.

Ilex has been in the game for one whole day before other players started popping up out of nowhere. He has come to the group of people and hidden behind a bush due to him being curious about what the game was actually about. Also, he wants to get a little information on how exactly to get out of the game without a hoard of people following him wherever he wanders.

Celestia was in her bedroom in her small apartment. She was sitting on the floor next to her small television. She was anxiously ripping open the package of a game. She had agreed to be one of the testers of the game,so they sent her the game through the mail. She was hoping that maybe the game would change her life a little,maybe even make it more interesting. Celestia knew it would just be a fantasy and a dream of what would happen,but it was the closest thing she could grasp onto. She set up everything accordingly to what the directions had told her,then logged into the game. Her avatar looked almost exactly like her. Well,except for the white skin and red eyes on the character and ofcourse the extremely long drill hair. "I wonder what will come out of this game!" She thought in her head. The lolita started walking through the game and checking out most of the areas.
After an hour of fooling around,she got tired of the game,like she got tired of almost everything she got. Celestia tried to get out of the game,just like the intructions had told her how to get out. But when she attempted to,it failed. She tried over and over again,but nothing changed. The girl was stuck inside. "What the hell is wrong with this thing?!" She exclaimed out loud with frustration in her voice. A feeling of panic began to overwhelm her. She wasn't expecting something like this to happen. It could've been just a simple glitch,but she still didn't like the feeling of being stuck. The only thing she thought of what to do was ask for help. She truly hated the idea,but what more could she do? Celestia began to walk around,hoping she could find some players that could help her out. Though,she still had one thought deep inside her mind. Isn't an imanginary world what you wanted?

Todd quickly noticed that they were joined by what looked to be a knight, but concetrated on taking out the cards around him and the group. He was a bit lost, but kinda greatful that other players were flocking to them instead of having to search for them. After the Hatter took out the last card, and asked them an obvious question, he debated on whether or not to answer her before shrugging. "Yup."
The faint sent of smoke offended Todd's nose and he sneezed. He didn't want the smell anymore so he looked around for the source:a bush...That was on fire. "Either, the mushroom spores did something to me or that bush is on fire" he pointed out, not really expecting people to listen to him.
