Ofelia was pleased to see they were still going, her shield was more than awesome and holding up, and as Lex threw the ball she caught it. . .only to drop it and have it roll back towards Lex. She should help but snicker at all this, a battle with actual weapons would have been so much easier, and she shook her head with enjoyment.

"That's...really sad but all kinds'a true. Ah'm much better at sparrin' Ah guess than dodgeball, but then again Ah never really played much in class. People tended ta not wanna pick the one-eyed kid fer their team." She took the hit and decided to...well, maybe play dodgeball like she was sparring? With the hit she just moved forward, her shield was fine and it wasn't like a weapon could get her, and while she was closer in range she thew the ball.
It hit with a heavy impact. Yeah, she was gonna play like it was a spar. Keep the energy up and all that.

"That's more like it!" Lex called, clutching his abdomen. Ouch; that one actually hurt. Apparently she was using her Sun strength - good for her. Bad for him.

Ofelia really was feeling better, or at least her breathing wasn't so hard, and she giggled with delight as Lex tossed the ball back and it struck her against her ankles. It was like that was the single, she needed to move forward, and the teen lifted the ball, took one look at Lex, and practically pounded him with it. There was no hesitation, nothing, but instead of the usual cackle of cruelty and enjoyment that came from inflicting damage she just winced, feeling a little bad.
She uh...hadn't meant to throw that hard and the look of awkward on her face proved it. "Ah..uh....are ya okay?" She'd heard that one hit, it looked like it hurt.

"Pffft...I'm fine." He muttered, taking the ball in his own hands and bouncing it a few times.
Suddenly, with not time for the girl to think, the ball found itself in her face. Lex chuckled a bit, clearing his throat once done with his mirth.
"Don't concern yourself with the welfare of your opponent, Ofie. Doesn't really help in battle, does it?"

Catching the ball with her face totally had Ofelia just...stand there as it fell into her hands. Her shield prevented a bloody nose, not so much a red mark the shape of well, a ball, and she giggled at how freakin' much that had smarted.
Then she tossed the ball and it missed because her vision was blurry. So blurry.

Lex tossed the ball at Ofie, missing by a wide margin. Well...he could blame fatigue. Yes, blaming fatigue was always good.
"You feeling worn out yet, kid?" He asked pleasantly, yawning a little. His shield was actually getting low - oddly enough. He'd need to go rest up after this.

"Not really, no." Ofelia wasn't feeling tired, or at least she wasn't tired enough to admit it, and she went to get the ball and throw it back.
When it missed its mark entirely she was forced to reconsider her word choice. " . . . maybe jus' a little."

"One more...toss." Ofelia managed to catch the ball this time, easily taking into her hands, and she tossed it at Lex with all intent for it to miss. When it smacked into her her weariness rolled off and she winced again. This time she didn't ask if he was injured, instead she chuckled, and she shook her head. "Guess Ah'm not that tired."

Lex kind of just let the ball roll off him after smacking him, giving it a very unamused look. Okay, he was so done with this. He'd played his part, done his thing, and now he'd been hit multiple times in the face by a dodgeball - and somehow his shield was actually at a critical point. No more, he was done.
"Well...I'm pretty worn out. Regal tells me that my shield is close to breaking point, so...I'm going to go work. Good playing with you." He smiled, waving as he walked out of the gym and to his room to change.
