Hel knew you were suffering, Titus. Her bosom knew it too. Your suffering sustains them.
The ghoul paid the rigid demon no mind though, and continued to drag him until she came to the proper section. Carefully eyeing the selection, Hel luckily wasted no time in pulling out the bra she wanted and needed, and then spun on her heel and just stared at Titus. His discomfort and lack of confidence was terribly apparent.
Hel grinned.
“Oh, what is this, Titus?” She sang. “You are being bested by pieces of cloth! HA! Pathetic! You call yourself a proud demon boil as well? No! If you are struck dumb by some pieces of sheer and lace, then you have a lot of manning up to do! If you get this worked up by cloth, then I do not even see how you will manage with any ghoul for long!” After her cheerful and boastful spiel, Hel decided that his nose needed to be rubbed in it some more, and she threw her head back and laughed obnoxiously, placing her folded hand underneath her chin.
After getting her chuckles out, she let out a deep breath, and grinned from ear to ear.
“Okay. I am ready to go to the check out now! Look at this! It matches the dress so well!” She then waved the bra in his face, like a flag of victory.

Fine beads of sweat began to pepper across Titus' brow as he memorized what the texture of the ceiling looked like. Somehow he didn't just look like he only lacked confidence he looked down right uncomfortable like he was sitting with his balls in a vise. Being there dug up bad memories of all the s**t his sister put him through and as Hel spouted off her gleeful observations there was a small hint of hurt in his eyes. Nothing that lasted long before it was clouded over with anger and he crossed his arms defiantly.
"I wouldn't want to bother with a ghoul anyway if they were anything like you. Mouthy, bitchy lot you all are. So needy and self centered." Okay, so he was self centered as well but he felt that was justified.
Titus groaned when she flagged the bra in front of his face, his normally pale skin growing a few shades of pink. For the first time though he managed not to nosebleed and merely batted the material away. "Yeah, yeah get it out of my face before I feed it to ya. I'm sure you'd choke on a melon holder than big." He was also certain a bra that size was going to cost him a fortune. Not that he didn't have the money but he never imagined himself to be underwear shopping with a ghoul. Ever.

Hel liked teasing people when she got an immediate and angry response…so when she didn’t from Titus…her teasing wasn’t as much fun anymore. It may have been fleeting, but Hel had been staring at the demon the entire time, and there was something off. She could see it and feel it, and it left her wondering.
She stopped waving the bra in his face after he waved it off, and slung both of her items over her arm. She was now staring at the demon, contemplative, with a furrowed brow. Hrmmm. She snorted softly. “Well, Titus. This may come as a surprise to ya…” She drawled, sarcastic, “But you are not a walk in the park to be around, either. That is the kettle calling the pot black~” She sang that out, and then nodded her head a bit. “Alright. I am ready for certain this time! We can go now.”

"There is a reason...I don't like people." And that was all Titus offered to her sing song tone, though he visibly seemed relieved when she said she was ready to go.
Finally. Jack. Thank the moon and stars they could leave this terrible place. He didn't even care if the dress fit her, Hel could figure that out later. For now he ushered her back to safe territory. "Fine, shoo, let me pay for this damn thing." He walked with her to the counter and drew a bag from his inside pocket that seemed to be heavy with seeds. He waited for the total before he began to count out the amount that he was going to need.
"Don't forget, Tombsday. Meet me outside of school I'll pick you up. And don't embarrass me." He growled a warning.

Hel wanted to ask why, but she being shooed out of the heavenly aisle and to the counter, where she then stood there awkwardly as she watched Titus…buy her a dress and a bra.
…
Holy s**t.
This was ******** weird and awkward.
Probably because A, she had never had a boil buy her a dress and a bra before, B, because she was Titus’ PRETEND ghoulfriend, and C, because it was Titus, a demon who she…for all intent and purpose, loved to loathe. She was snapped out of her thoughts by his growl, and she waved a hand dismissively.
“Ya, ya, the ideal ghoulfriend and what not…what is your idea of a good ghoulfriend? Also…what time on Tombsday? That is pretty important to know…”

Titus paused as if caught off guard by the question. Perhaps he hadn't put much thought into it or perhaps he had and just didn't want to say. Either way when he finally spoke it was short and mostly unhelpful. "I dunno, someone lovey dovey or whatever that nonsense is. Read a book or watch a movie and figure it out."
He huffed as if agitated by all her questioning. "Six and don't be late."

Hel took her bag with the dress and the bra after it was paid for, and shuffled all the items in her arms as she stared at Titus and his vague answer.
“…Uh…a-alright…” Hel replied, dubiously, making a face at the ‘read a book’ part. She’d uh…try to find some movies…or…maybe gruegle? Yeah…maybe she’d go gruegle stuff in the library. “Ya…six on Tombsday…got it.”

"Alright. ....Good." And Titus stood there a little longer unsure what was supposed to happen at this point. Was he supposed to pretend to be a boilfriend? He stared at Hel for a long and awkward moment wondering if he was supposed to walk her back to school when he suddenly turned on his heel and walked off into the maul. He just couldn't bring himself to do it.
