He wasn't quite sure how he'd feel if she actually started bursting into tears.
It didn't really matter though, since the likihood of that was highly unlikely.
Stupid loud noisy woman.
Turning his attention back to the course, he saw that the shadowlings had dispersed and all paths were still in decent shape.
5 rounds, right? He was done, with his golem in decent shape.
Though, pride got the better of him, and he wanted to see just how far he could go.

More mauling.
Jake watched wordlessly as the shadowlings had taken advantage of the defenseless first path, and completely overwhelmed Sherry!golem.
Before it was completely destroyed, it seemed to cast him one last glance, oozing hate and betrayal, as if screaming WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY
... and then nothing was left.
Well, guess 8 waves was his limit.
He walked over to Ofie and kicked her.

Ofelia would have let out a groan of unhappiness if she wasn't already so drugged she barely registered the hit but none the less redhead opened her eye and blearily looked at Jake. "Didja die? Let's hurry up an' get back then. Ah need a nap an' ya need ta drop off yer paperwork ta get yer stuff."
She pushed herself to her feet, wondering why her side hurt like someone had kicked her. The world would never know.
