The Samurai I'm heading for the chatterbox right now. I'm in the mood. but remember guys, when talking to other people, we're not going there to change the person. God does that, we're here to give them the good news of Jesus Christ. Debating abortion or homosexuality isn't going to help anyone, it just puts people on the offensive. God will deal with each individual person as He sees fit, if he feels like convicting one of His children of something they are doing or support, He'll do that. wow. you siad it all! I defintly agreee with you! Another thing i think is we should all put God in our profiles and have Christian songs. That way other people will look there and maybe want to learn more about him or rethink their lives if they see all of us like that! But i will defintly join your guild if u end up having one! Please mail if or when you have it!

Something important though, not all people have the gift of evangelism, that's one thing I don't like about the Church right now, they tell everyone to evangelize, and they evangelize in church. But evangelism is supposed to be out of the church, and on the streets, in public, to people. Church is for building already believers up, and teaching them. Some people are for evangelism, some are given the gift of a pastor-teacher role.
"And He gave some as apostles (all gone), and some as prophets (all gone too), and some as evangelists, and some as pastors and teachers,"
Ephesians 4:11
So yes, we should organize something like this thread is saying, it's a great idea, but if we do that, we should also organize something so that those pastor/teachers can help build up the believers and so we could have a Bible study type thread.
Just a thought, but this is all a great idea!

The term 'evangelize' and its other terms have developed a negative connotation in the United States and over the internet. When someone says evangelical where I live, it's an automatic turnoff. Unfortunate as it seems.

my grandma always said pray for the angels in every direction;north, south,east and ,west
to be a christian you have to believe in the 3 trinities which are the father,the son, and the holy spirit.
you can't just believe in god, you have to believe in his son and god
god and jesus are real. they aren't a made up myth.all those other retarted religions are no real gods.only god and jesus are living people in heaven. spells and witch craft is so fake. i really dislike when people say cuss words on gaia with and without jesus name in it

Try to be a little more tactful Lazarus. She may have been in the wrong but you shouldn't let it get to you. Instead, try not to flame and ask them to be more polite next time. If there is still a problem let me know and I'll handle it.

I understand where the people in this guild are coming from. It's a natural thing to want to share the fruits of ones faith with others. However, you should keep in mind that "Gaia" IS the name of the Earth Mother in some Early Indo-European Cultures. Therefore it's going to have a strong Pagan undertone. That's not to say that you shouldn't be proud of your faith, but that wanting to convert all of Gaia is going to be an impossible task considering it's named after an important deity in some of todays reconstructed Neo-Pagan faiths.

I don't see any reason at all to go outside of guilds to evangelize.
The biggest reason is that most people that claim to be Christians aren't anyways, so I'll preach to the hypocrites!
