Tig stood up quickly and brushed the sand off of the pants she wore. Using her hand as a visor, she squinted off in the direction oposite of the plane. "... Do you see that? It's a person!"

Elath staggered through the blazing sand, a tattered duffle bag filled with a small amount of scavenged supplies thrown over his shoulder. His torn and battered floral print short sleeved shirt, so typical of travelers these days swaying in the slight wind. He mopped several driplets of sweat off his forehead with his left hand, squinting into the distance as he did so. Was there other life on this accursed island? Yes, it seemed so! He raised his hand in a brief wave, then dashed forwards to meet the other survivors.
(Eh. Not good, I know. Don't hold it against my typical RP standards. ^^ )

I don't think you realise... Jetty sat up abruptly. That was a mistake, she thought, groaning. Her ribs felt bruised. She tenderly got to her feet. She didn't have even a vague recollection of the past few days. It all seemed to be blocked out. She was starved. How to get food... She walked out into the open. "Hey," she said, as loudly as she could without wincing, because she saw a few others. "So there were more survivors." She forced a smile. ...that you're breaking my heart.
