"Nah, I knew you'd do all right with it."

Vyth gave the trees and stuff another appreciative glance before walking over and wrapping her arms around Gabe's waist. "We all need to just step back and have a little bit of peace and quiet from time to time. Spend sometime with those who matter and forget about what we know for a while. Other wise we might loose ourselves."

Placing a hand against his chest, she leaned her head against his shoulder with a smile. "We all are. Sometimes we just get so wrapped up in our own little worlds that we miss all the small details of life around us."

She let her eyes lid half way, listening to the sound of the rustling leaves and far distant bird calls. Hoping that Gabe was right. That nothing would spoil their little weekend get away. "Should we go get some kindling then? It'll get dark before we know it and out here there are no streetlights so it'll be darker than what we're normally used to."

"Yep exactly." His sudden kiss had caught her just a little bit off-guard. But it wasn't unwelcome in the least. Sliding her arms over his shoulders, she ran her fingers through his hair at the back of his neck. Giving his bottom lip a tiny n** before breaking away.

If she wasn't careful she'd get swept up in the moment and then they would never get anything else set up before it got too dark.

"How sneaky, I look forward to more of that later though when we're all snuggled up next to a fire." Vyth gave him a cheeky grin before slipping out of his arms. "But we need kindling for a fire or else no more smooching." She began to walk past the edge of the camp site, eyeballing the ground and picking up twigs and pieces of bark that were nice and dry.

Picking up a few more twigs and bark, Vyth blinked as she was bent over at the waist. Her hand holding a twig hovering a few inches off of the ground. "A squa-"

OH! Sasquatch.

Straightening herself now, she tapped her cheek with the stick in her hand. A thoughtful look on her face. "I think I watched a show once that said Sasquatch liked bacon? Maybe if we cook some bacon one would come and visit. Though if its anything like that Jack Links jerky Sasquatch we don't want to mess with it."

Figuring they had enough for a fire tonight at least she began to walk back towards the campsite. The outsides of the twigs seemed dry enough. She would have to break them to make sure the insides weren't too green. Otherwise they wouldn't burn and all they would get would be a face full of smoke.

"Oh yea. This group of people they go out and hunt for Sasquatch at night with like night vision cameras and all that fun equipment. Traipsin' through the woods. One dude started to like cook bacon and said that they like it." Stopping next to the fire pit, she tossed the sticks and bark next to it before brushing herself off. "Yea uh, I wouldn't want to mess with something that big that could probably rip my arms off."

"Ah well I'm sure you could probably catch a re-run of it. I think the show was call 'Hunting Sasquatch' or something like that. On the Travel channel." At least she thought that was the channel. So many shows spread over different channels it was hard to remember which was on which.

"Yea, I try not to mess with anything that could beat me with my own arm." Looking at the sticks and stuff, she wandered back over to the SUV. "I picked up some starter logs." Vyth opened up the back door and pulled one out along with a small bag of regular halved logs. She tossed them half way towards the fire pit before closing the door again. "All we need to do is kind of set the halves up around the starter log like a teepee and shove some kindling here and there then light it up and we should get a pretty good fire going." Glancing up at the sky, she noted that it was starting to get kind of dark and they were gonna loose daylight soon enough. "Might as well get something going then we can just feed it until its time to go to sleep."

"I really only caught it while flipping through channels. But I'm sure you could prolly look it up on a channel guide."

She rolled the starter log with a foot closer to the fire ring, grasping the small bag of logs and dumping them out. His offer of help an obvious plea for something to do, which caused her to smile. Her little helper.

"There is a box of matches in that grey tub over there." Pointing to the one she meant, it was next to all the cooking stuff. "If you want to grab those and set up the wood and get a fire started feel free." Reaching into her back pocket she pulled out a little pamphlet. "We don't need to worry about showers or bathroom stuff. They've got a little area for all that. Just a short walk unless you really need to pee and can't wait out the walk."

"My grandfather would take me camping every summer, so I know enough to get by." She slipped the pamphlet back into her pocket before walking over to where she had left the cut pieces of rope and the containers of food. One by one she tossed the ropes over some branches then tied the containers up and hoisted them up into the air a bit.

Once she had finished that Vyth walked back over to the fire pit to inspect Gabe's handy work. Giving a mental nod of approval. "Beginners luck." She joked with a laugh.
