Attor smiled at her and laughed slightly. "You're welcome....sorry I hid the truth....I thought it would make things weird for you to know. How I felt about you, but I should have just been honest about it." Attor sighed as the potion began to boil.
"She was a petty amusement cause others where not free. It didn't seem to matter though...none of them are quite like you..." Attor said before stirring the potion again.
"Its getting t...." As she took his hand he looked strait at her as she spoke. "Well....I think I can live with that....but if something ever goes wrong with Kenny...open that locket and remember less something changes I'm ready to take his place.....oh and now its boiling...hand me the red leaves over there...the um Yecktar leaves what ever they are called again...." Attor said scratching his head in thought.

Von shrugged off his apology, there was no need for it. Both of them were trying to do the right thing. She hadn't even noticed the potion bubbling as he spoke. He was willing to stand by her side no matter that she's with Kenny. t his offering to take Kenny's place she laughed. " I'll keep that in mind."
Still smirking she handed him the red leaves not even attempting to take a crack at their name. " What about this strange powder? When does it go in? Von leaned over to take a peek at the cauldron before making a strange face. " It supposed to smell like that?"

"Good please do." Attor said with a laugh shaking his head a bit. He was still annoyed for falling for someone he couldn't have again.
Taking the leaves he held them by the caldron's fire to warm them before he seemed to rumple them in his hands to let the juice drip from his hands into the potion.
"Not yet the potion needs to change colors. You have no patience do you?" Attor said with a laugh before sniffing the potion. He wrinkled his nose and sighed. "Unfortunately yes...not many potions smell good anyways."

Vonali watched curiously as Attor held his hands over the cauldron. And she sighed as he said it wasn't done abut smiled at his laugh. "Nope, never had. One of my faults I suppose. Along with snagging hearts apparently." She sighed and sat back down in her chair trying to get way from the fumes. "Will those red leaves stain your hands? Cause that'd be kind of funny."
She smirked slightly at the thought. And if they did perhaps she'd use that in her dye concoction she was plotting. "So how long til it changes colors?" She started to play with the necklace again just fidgeting quietly. She could sit still if she had to and be completely still but when it served no entertainment she got bored very easily.
" Would you show me your drawings one day?"She was a bit random but Marc had gifted her with an appreciation of art so that combined with her natural curiosity had her asking about it.

Attor looked over to her and frowned a little. "Its not a bad thing Von. Least you don't keep falling for people that are already taken. I've done that twice now it seems to be an unfortunate habit I'm forming. Just I guess don't take things so seriously. I mean we're still young right? We shouldn't be so worried about such things." Attor said with a sigh as he showed her is slightly red hands. "A little, but I don't care much." Attor laughed about it maybe if it were blue or something it would be different.
Attor shook his head and laughed. "I don't know it does it when it wants to. You know this does require some magic a potion can't be made by a muggle even if they had access to the ingredients. If you don't concentrate a little on this it wont turn out right." Attor wasn't sure that everyone understood you actually put some magic energies into potions. It wasn't just the ingredients.
"Uh......." Attor looked a little unsure about letting her see them. He tended to sketch what ever he was thinking about. So there were some sketches of her in there as well as Tynan. But the sketches requested of other girls he had been dating could throw that off, and the snakes so it should be rather safe. "I guess.." He pointed to his bag. "My sketch book is in there actually if you want to grab a look." In the bag she would find a few pencils the sketch book and and over abundance of chocolate frogs something he had a weakness for.

Von winced at his revelation. "I'm sure you'll find someone who's more than a distraction someday. Hell who knows what the future holds." She smirked looking at his hands and an idea started to form. She'd have to gather a few things but she thought she could get the right dye for Cindy's hair. And as she was a blonde it made it a it easier.
She shrugged off his tutoring " I know it requires magic, it wouldn't be taught here if it didn't." She smiled and bumped his shoulder. "I just don't find it...amusing." As he mentioned his bag she giggled and jumped off the stool to rummage through his bag. She doubt she'd find anything major in it, he was too smart for that. So she grabbed the book and a handful of frogs.
"You've been holding out on me!" She smiled and unwrapped and offered the first frog to him before shoving a second in her mouth. Licking chocolate off her fingers she used her off hand to slowly turn the pages. He was good, his style was different than Marc's but he was just as talented. Or so it looked to her. " These are good. You even make a few of your distraction look nice." She winked at him to let him know she's just joking around with him, though she was serious about his talent.

"I hope so, but that's why I'm not trying to take things to seriously. I have to many other things to worry about right now anyways." Attor said with another sigh.
"Muggle studies doesn't require magic, and neither does history of magic despite it being about magic." Attor retorted keeping a close eye on the potion. "You should its useful as hell you know." Attor said with a laugh as he noticed the potion change colors. "Ok changed colors wait ten minutes then add to spoonfuls of that powder stuff. You can handle that while I stir right?" Attor looked over just in time to see her going through his bag.
"Hey now you could at least ask before taking a frog. I need those....." Chocolate frogs were a pure comfort food to Attor. He ate the frog and huffed a bit.
"Uh...Thanks..." Attor sounded like he didn't believe her. He always hid is sketches and art so he didn't have confidence in them at all.

Von nodded things should not be this complicated especially at their age. She chomped down on a second frog grinning before giving Attor another as well. " I've got a bag full in my room I'll give it to when we get back."
She leaned forward and watch the cauldron while Attor stirred. "What size of spoonfuls?" She looked at 4 different spoons laid out before her. She reached around Attor and grabbed the notes to see if the answer was there. With a nod she chose the seconded spoon and replaced the notes.
She sat back down since they had at least 5 minutes remaining. After a few seconds she was getting bored she flipped through the sketches again. " You should talk to Marc. I bet you two could really collaborate and make one awesome art business."

Attor ate the frog he could never say no to one if Von was smart she would file that knowledge away for later. "Well that's ok then." Attor laughed a little.
"I don't know......" Attor was happy she had the notes to back them up in this case.
"Art is no business it is a child's frivolity." Attor repeated having heard it from not only his father, but his business teachers as well. "Besides everything is about business, this should stay as my privates escape. Mostly private.....people tend to get in my bag and find my sketch book. I don't mind drawing other occasionally." After a moment Attor seemed bored. "Now you have me feeling impatient."

Smiling Von unwrapped the last frog and watched it for a moment before handing it to Attor. She'd had enough for the moment. At his comment about art she rolled her eyes. "It's not a child's hobby. Who ever told you that needs to smacked with a magazine. Art is vital to marketing, and what company does not have a logo? That's art as well." She crossed her arms and frowned for a moment.
As he spoke about him wanting a break from business she nodded though she was always told to turn that which you enjoy into work and you'd never work a day on your life. " If given the choice would you turn away from running the business?" Normally this question would be for a plot but today she was merely curious and passing the time. " My bad.But at least we're impatient together."

Attor without missing a beat broke it in half and handed her the other half. "Perhaps it is, but its a lower business at best not one that will put you on top." Attor came back with no emotion on his face.
"No....It's what I know to do and I'm good at it. Besides political banter at business meetings or events is something I live for. There is nothing more satisfying then then putting your opponent into a verbal silence." Attor smiled a bit.
"I suppose that's true." Attor laughed.

Von took the frog and nibbled on it. She listened and sat for a moment filing the information. "I suppose. I'm more of stay in the shadows kind of gal." She wasn't big on the whole debating thing but thanks to people like Attor she didn't have to be.
" Time yet?" She was bored and pulled out her wand and tapped it to her chin with a grin she pointed it at the professor's stool and reversed it's gravity so it got stuck on the ceiling. Her eyes twinkled with mischief as she looked over at Attor and winked. A bored Von could be a very bad thing if she kept it up at this rate.

"You'll have to be my date at one of the balls. Then you will see just how fun it can be.....That is if Kenny would allow. It would just be a business/ friend thing ." Attor said with a shrug.
"Yes actually...." Attor raised a brow as he watched the stool. He then looked over to Vonali eye still raised. "You're one of those boredom kills dangerous types aren't you?" He then laughed. "Come on get the powder in here."

"A ball sounds boring. And Kenny doesn't allow me to do things. That's my business." She rolled her eyes, as if she needed Kenny's approval for something so mundane. As he said it was time she jumped up and the teacher's stool came crashing to the ground. She stood and waited for Attor to start stirring before placing two spoonfuls into the cauldron.
" and in answer to your question. Yes I am. So best keep that in mind when you invite me to things." She laughed and winked at him. Though getting herself out there in such circles could help her indeed, so she hoped she'd get a chance to attend such a function.

"Ah well you don't have to go." Attor sounded a little disappointed it was hard to explain why he found them so much entertaining. "And you know what I meant. I just don't want him upset cause you attend something like that with another boy."
"I will. Maybe not everyone sees fun in the same things I guess." Attor said as he stirred the potions and it changed colors once more. "And we're done." He took some bottles and put a strainer on top of it before filling them with the liquid. "Not so bad I mean there are some potions later this year you are really going to hat Von." Attor said with a laugh.
