"A lot of the students have these cellular phones now." He stuffed his back into his pocket. "They are camera and text.. things.. and.." Muka shrugged with a chuckle. "I'm not very good with technology. But it may be to your benefit to acquire a phone somehow."
It was a bit unspoken that everyone had one.
"Oh yes!" Muka walked back to the window again, gauged it's size, and then opened it. "It's the animal in me."
He looked like he may be about to leap out the window, but he hadn't yet.

"I shall ask Matron if I can get one, just for school," Victoria nodded as she replied; if these portable skelephones are costly, she would probably have to save up for one...
"Ohh," She looked up at Muka, wondering what he was doing at the window. Curiosity getting the better of her, she peered out the other window, "Is there something outside that caught your attention?"

"Well.." Muka giggled. "The dorms are a bit of a maze. I was going to leave."
He pondered, just a moment, and then gave Victoria a sly grin. "Would you like to see something?" Muka picked the skull pin off of his ascot and tucked it into his pants pocket.
Suddenly there was the sound of snapping bones, creaking joints, stretching muscle and where the strix had been standing was now a massive owl man. Surprisingly he was not as fat in this form, his weight seemed to spread out into sheer size. There was no mistaking the golden eyes and the grinning smile, despite the beak.
The jagged teeth cracked and words issued, not from lips, but more like emanating from his throat. "What do you think?"

"What sort of something?" Victoria asked, and then, before she even had a chance to decide, that something happened... And she found herself staring, wide-eyed, of a very different looking Muka.
To be honest, the sounds of bones and joints and muscles snapping and stretching scared her initially - she wasn't sure if it was normal, or if her new friend and benefactor was hurt. However, when the transformation was complete, and she realized that it was still him despite the differences in appearance, she felt relieved... And then awe.
He mentioned staying in the monster dorms, but it didn't really sink in until now.
"You're huuuuuuuuugggggggggggggggge, Sir Muka!" She replied, stretching her arms out her side, holding them parallel to the floor, "Larger this this! Oh, I think that it is very impressive!"

Muka merely snickered and shuffled across the floor carefully. He was lifting his feet in an effort to not catch or tear the carpeting. When he got close enough one taloned wing extended to pat her on the head. It was a bit of a light wing buffet, to be honest, but the note of affection was still there.
"If you'd ever like to fly, let me know." Ghost ghouls were so light!

Victoria floated downwards at the head pat, and then giggled as she floated back up.
"I would love to, Sir Muka," She beamed, "Perhaps on another day, when there is not so much fog... It would be lovely to get a bird's eye view of the campus!"

"Bird's eye view." Muka leaned in, super close, and his eyes blinked at different times. He then giggled uncontrollably. "That's a good one!"
With another head pat and another hissing round of giggles, he worked his way back to the window. "You're funny." A hooked talon pointed at her as he laughed.
A hop mounted him on the windowsill. The window looked small compared to his body but his feather bulk seemed to squeeze through. "Let me know if you need anything! G'bye!"
With a feathered whoosh he took out onto campus, circling close to the buildings to avoid the fog and head towards the monster dorms. He left a few feathery souvenirs behind unintentionally on her carpet.

"Bye bye, Sir Muka!" Victoria waved after the boil after he left, looking out the window until she could no longer see him. It took her a while after that to notice the feathers, but she eventually did, picking them up and putting them on the desk, beside his number; as she piled the feathers up, she idly wondered if he might want them back...
