Maxxie had only just realized that he messed up in several point of his request, it was such an embarrassment topresent himself to someone of court in such a manner. "Apologies, yes I meant Ernyian aide. I was told that Lady Lilianna was out of town."

Evvie"Yes, Lady Liliana is out but given how long it will take you to return to your lady and lord, ours will have returned by then. The Elemental Guardian will want to look upon them herself to see if they should receive the aide they seek." Shuffling through her desk, Evvie produced a sheet of paper and wrote in a couple things. Handing it over, it read: "By Lady's Decree, You are requested to present before the Lady Liliana of Ernya for the matter of international aide in no later than 14 days from the current day of our goddess Pital. Signed, Evvie Steward of the Ernyian Rulers" "Our lady should return sooner than that but it gives you ample time to travel there and back," she added.

Following Maxxie's directions word for word, Alyssa was able to locate the correct building with ease. Making her way to the throne room, Alyssa had already prepared herself for any responses or actions. When she finally saw the girl Maxxie described, she stopped a few feet away from her. "Hello, my name is Alyssa, the Lady of Indelca. I understand that I am required to be here in person to request aide from Ernya, is Lady Liliana back yet?" Even as she spoke, Alyssa was slightly nervous. She was even praying to Pital to give Lady Liliana good fortunes so that she would be content before their chat.

He was there for support more than to speak his mind on everything that came up, so he remained silent. Alyssa sounded a lot less nervous than he would have, so he was glad she was there. The Reaper couldn't have handled it all himself.

Then she stormed, as her fingers clawed through her brown hair to its roots. "You hold the key to your own success." Hava's were the words of a cryptologist; the meaning of the words themselves cast aside as she dissected the phrase. "You. Hold. The. Key." No, she did not. That much was clear. The book was not the key. It only served to further the human's frustration. She jerked her chair back from the table and dropped back into the seat, glaring down at the words before her.
"Carve the answers from-who? Who has the answer? You will drain no knowledge, Beyruun. There is none here except what we can find... what we can hold..."
With your hands, your heart, or your mind...? The disembodied voice whispered inside of the woman's head, and suddenly her head jerked up from the nest she had made of her fingers. Not held in hand... what if the key was held elsewhere? What if-- The human covered her mouth to escape the hissing curse that issued 'twixt her teeth. The sentence itself held the key!
Immediately, Hava launched herself upwards from the desk and began to prowl about the room. Her gait and posture was much different then it had been before. It was animalistic; predatory. She was hunting for something. Paper. She found it lining the drawer of another table, and she seized a fistful from it as she swept up a quill and ink jar in her spare hand. She was practically racing back to the books as she returned with a mind on fire. She sat and began scribbling wildly over the paper she had found, listing the alphabet and the words present in that single phrase. Her heart raced to the same rhythm as Beyruun's excited pulse around her narrow hips, where the blade was hidden as a coiled length of black rope concealed beneath its master's green robe.

Wings could be heard overhead as the large dragon known as Alewar came down to land in the main garden. Liliana slid down, not waiting to see if her citizens followed. Her mind could already hear the other people who were here, especially the ones who didn't belong. Her footsteps followed the practiced path to the petition hall, guards bowing or saluting along the way. She heard the thoughts of guards hurrying to let Evvie know of her return and smiled. Liliana burst through the doors of the petition hall, throwing them wide to make as much a scene as possible. Hoping to have all eyes on her, Liliana strolled down the carpet to her throne and took her seat before the baby leaders of Indelca. "Kurio and Alyssa, you've come for assistance." It wasn't a question posed to them but a statement of the fact. And a reminder they could hold no secrets before her.

When Lady Liliana burst through the door, Alyssa's first response wasn't to greet her. In fact, she wasn't even sure what Liliana looked like. Alyssa only calmed down when she saw the guards bowing down to the woman. When Lady Liliana spoke, it wasn't a question. She knew of their purpose. "Yes, we have. We have taken up the mantle of the throne in Indelca because the old leader abandoned the city. They left it in the hands of an incapable steward. The problem here is that we," Implying both Kuroi and herself, "are still trainees until told otherwise. That is where Ernya comes in. If you can provide training services to our city, until we have trained new guards and ourselves, we will be forever in your debt."

This was just ridiculous. Not only could she read their minds, but she looked like she meant business. No jokes or sarcasm would be exiting Kuroi's mouth in her presence. Alyssa quickly gained her composure and spoke. She knew what she was saying, but there was slight doubt that she would decline their request. "Yes, ma'am. If you were willing to do this for us, the entirety of Indelca would always stand by your side. Alyssa and I the most." Hopefully the Warrior had done well. He wasn't just going to let Alyssa handle everything.

Liliana sat silently as she listened to their request. Her milky eyes seemed to bore deep into their being, drawing out the information she needed to make her decision. But some things still hide from her normal gaze. "Kuroi, please come forward," she said finally, holding out her hand.

Although his nerves were as hyper as ever, the Trainee managed to move forward. He knew that they could only recieve their aid if he and Alyssa listened to everything Lady Liliana said. Taking three steps ahead, Kuroi stood closer than his comfort zone wanted him. "Yes?" His words leaked humility. Everything had to go correctly.

She smiled with a motherly warmth. "I'm a tad stiff. Can you help an old blind woman up?" she asked with good nature. Aura peeked out from under her hair, stifling any words the fairy dragon might have for the woman. Graveheart, unseen by all but Liliana, was doubled over laughing at her.

He didn't know she was blind, and she didn't come across as that old. She actually looked younger than he expected. But he moved forward anyway. The Reaper's gauntlet reared itself as he removed it from its hiding spot beneath his cloak. His hand extended, allowing for the woman to grab on if she needed yo do so. Which she apparently did. "Here you go, my Lady."
