Anyone notice that Darksteel has a card banned in every format?

Standard: Arcbound Ravager & Darksteel Citadel (and Skullclamp)
Extended: Skullclamp
Type 1: Trinisphere

I think it qualifies for the first "WTF was the FFL thinking" award since Urza's Destiny!

Nah, that's not the big thing. If multiple cards had been taken out of multiple formats each, then it would've been that bad. As is, it's just a "You should have tested those a little more thuroughly." However, your post inspired a rather funny mental image...

Skullclamp: "It sucks. Let's make it insanely broken and not test it." *ALERT! ALERT!*

Trinisphere: "Well, if it hits too early, it's game, so we should make it cost just within range of the fifth most commonly played nonbasic land in Type I!" *ALERT! ALERT!*

Ravager: "Eh, it's really strong with those modular creatures, but other than this one, they all cost too much, so it shouldn't be too powerful..." *ALERT! ALERT!*

Darksteel Citadel: "Let's make ANOTHER artifact land!" *ALERT! ALERT!*

What do you guys think will be banned come March 1st?
Ravager is getting the axe, but what? I think the artifact lands should go in T2, why? You get rid of disciple the deck is still gas, you hit ravager, it goes back to broodstar affinity, or just uses Tog, hit plating and the deck just adds shrapnel blast or something.........

*Sticks him with a javelin for suggesting the banning of ravager, and the artifact lands.* Yeah, I know the Ravager has already been banned, but think of how good it was. However, no one could dispute the fact that it was getting to the point of where if you entered a tourny, you would either have to have ravager, or something that could seek and destroy ravager. It was ruining the game essentially. They should have restricted the card rather than ban it outright.
