Vyth wrinkled her nose up just a bit. "Hey now, you never know who is involved with what these days." She didn't want to set any paranoia alarms for him, but the truth was there. Ya know, she was a Senshi and he was just a regular old civilian right? If Gabe knew her secret well...it would probably be shocking really.
Shrugging, she wrapped her arms around his neck loosely. "Like I said, its totally cool so don't worry about it. Maybe one day you can come by the house and I'll show you around and tell you the stories about my Gran. Perhaps meet my dad too if he's not too busy traveling on business." Straight to meeting the family, that was certainly one way to stake a claim on Gabe for sure. Seduce, introduce to her father and grandfather, marriage, babies...wait. Perhaps she was getting a little too ahead of herself. Nah. She was not one to not day dream of these things, all girls did it. Right?
"So your a senior at your school then? Means you'll be graduating soon enough. Any plans for what to do after that?"

Gabe shrugged. "I guess it's a possibility, I just...you know...so unlikely." He sighed. He had met an older Knight. Oh god, maybe his father was one. There was a scary thought.
And then he blinked and stared at her. Wasn't it a little early for this to be on the table? Meeting her family? This wasn't even an official date-except maybe it was, oh good God, this was terrifying.
"Yeah, maybe one day I can," he said, sounding vaguely dizzy. "And you can come over and meet my parents," oh god what had he just said what had he just said. It seemed like a very dangerous suggestion.
"Yeah, I will be," he said. "My parents want me to go to college, but I dunno. I mean, I want to do the UFO hunting thing, and you can't really go to school for that."

Well, the seed had been planted maybe. Honestly, Vyth wouldn't be surprised if her grandfather was one or the other of the factions. He was a bit cooky sometimes. But people would probably just chalk it up to old age. "Its certainly something to think about I guess."
An excited look came to her face now. That was most certainly an open invitation to meet his parents now. "Great! We'll hafta figure out a day and time to do that. Just don't be nervous about meeting my father ok? He's uh...a bit intimidating. I guess if you can call a big Russian man intimidating. My Grandpa will probably like you right away, he's got similar interests to yours and is always curious about people." Ah, so much to do and plan now. She would have to call her father tonight.
"Well, I guess as long as you were able to get a job to support your UFO hunting they'd be happy none the less. Parents want a lot for their kids but its not always what the kids want, so all they can do is voice their disapproval. But good parents, no matter how much they disagree, will love their children no matter what they do."

Gabe found himself in the very terrifying position of being informed that not only was he going to be meeting Vythica's family, but that her father definitely fell into his definition of "intimidating." This was not going to go well, he just knew it. There was not a man on Earth that would consider Gabriel Blake good enough for his daughter.
"Uhh, yeah, okay," he said, "we'll see how that goes." He was half-hoping she'd just forget about this later, though on the other hand he would hate to think that she'd flirt with him this much and then just let it go later.
"I mean, you can actually do okay just on that, if you can catch the right photo or get a book published." Gabe said. "Or, you know, get interviewed on like, Ancient Aliens or something." The tone of his voice said that in his mind, that was the best thing ever. "Though I think they'd probably be embarrassed, overall."

She noticed a slight tinge of apprehension in his voice. Running the back of her fingers down his cheek she smiled. "It'll be ok I promise. My father may sound and even look intimidating but that's just cause most Russian men do. On the inside he's a big ol' teddy bear, I promise. He'll like you."
Nodding, she smiled reassuringly.
"Nah, I don't think so. If you could get on tv I'm sure they'd be all 'That's my son a big shot there on that television show!' Oh! It would be awesome Gabe! You should totally do it now!" Of course, if he got on tv that would give her the opportunity to brag just a little bit to everyone. Even if it was a show about aliens, Vyth would be proud at least. Gabe was chasing his dream and that's all that really mattered.

"Whatever you say," he agreed. There was really no assuaging his worry. He was surprised to find that he rather liked Vythica, even if she had him horribly off balance. "I mean, if you really think it's a good idea."
This was going way too fast for him. Oh well, it very much felt out of his hands.
"Hahaha, I'd have to discover something really impressive before I got to be on TV..." He said. Theoretically, he could blow the lid off this whole war on national television, but deep down that struck him as a very, very bad idea. Best that the public had no idea what was going on.

"It is." Of course it was a good idea. Why would it not be? "The sooner he gets to know you the better he'll feel about you and me. My father doesn't like bullshit, he's a straight and upfront kind of person." Nothing was ever too fast for Vythica. Life's moments were fleeting so why not live in the fast lane? Of course, ya know. Gabe never really protested anyway so she was full speed a head.
"I'm sure you will. If you believe strong enough and work hard you'll make it! No body got successful just by sitting on their butts. And ya know, there's so much out there that we don't know. I mean, myths and legends all have some truth to them yea?" She tilted her head slightly. "So it would be safe to assume that conspiracies and aliens have some kind of truth."
Now she was getting excited.

Gabe nodded. "That makes sense," he acknowledged. "Er, wait, you and me?" That particular phrasing caught him very much off guard. When had there been a him and her? This was all very strange.
"Well, I'll work as hard as I can, I guess, but sometimes this stuff just falls in your lap." He pointed out. "And I've got to finish high school first! But you know what, I am going to find something." He already had. Then again, he hadn't discovered it, not really, but he had stumbled into something well beyond what other ufologists could even comprehend.

"Yea. You..." Unwrapping her arms from around his neck she held up one finger. "And me..." Another finger on her opposite hand. "Together." Vyth touched her fingertips together. Gabe didn't have to know about her attraction to Natron and Natron didn't have to know about her attraction to Gabe. Hell, she lead a double life already so why not have double love interests? Its not like the paths would cross right? Life was so unfair sometimes, dangling two cute guys in front of her like pieces of sexy steak. Steak she wouldn't mind nibbling on.
"See that's the spirit." She wrapped her arms around his neck once more. Giving him a tight hug with a small giggle.

Oh good god she meant exactly what he thought she had. He was not sure this was within the realm of what he was capable of handling. "...That doesn't sound too bad," he admitted out loud. Which was actually true. It didn't. Except, of course, there was the complicating matter of Toutatis, who was also pretty blatantly interested in him. But, well, Toutatis was interested in Natron, not in Gabriel. Toutatis would probably find Gabriel unattractive and uninteresting.
Toutatis did not need to know about this.
He slid his arms to around her waist, returning the hug. "So I guess this turned into an official date, huh?"

She was glad he didn't totally reject her. Well, by now she figured he wouldn't and the idea of it would be easier to handle. Gabe tended to go through waves of being ok and being brain melty. But that was ok. She could work with that. "Good." Burying the bridge of her nose against his neck again she let out a small sigh.
She could juggle these relationships right? Of course. She was the master.
Letting out a small sigh, she wiggled a bit as his arms wrapped around her waist in a return hug. That was nice. He was getting more comfortable. Vyth enjoyed physical contact. It was always so personal. "Of course it was a date. But if you want to say it officially then yes it was an official date." Apparently he didn't figure once she'd asked him if he wanted to get some coffee that she was asking him out on like a date right on the spot. Silly boy.

Gabe groaned quietly. "I guess it turned into a date when you climbed into my lap. I really probably should have paid for the coffee, though, that being said." He mused. He wasn't exactly up on date etiquette, but didn't the guy usually pay?
Hadn't he already thought about this?
"So, uh, is date number two going to be me meeting your parents, or can we do dinner sometime first?" He asked. Sometimes he had no idea what the hell he was even saying. Then again, Vythica had been receptive to him so far, he might as well take it a little bit further.

It was cute when he spoke about him supposing to pay for the coffee. Shaking her head, she chuckled. "Its ok. Really. Besides, I'm the one who asked you to have coffee." Vyth didn't mind paying. In all honesty she preferred that she at least pay half the time anyway. It was only fair, but she knew that some guys felt it was their obligation to pay. Either way.
"Dinner sounds fine actually. I'm sure you don't want to get instantly tossed into the situation of meeting my family on date number two, so I will spare you that. This time." She grinned.
Slipping off his lap she moved back to her own chair that had grown quite cold. Reaching back into her purse, she pulled out a small notepad and a pen. Scribbling on it for a second before she leaned forward and handed it to him. "This is my cell number. When you figure out the details call me and we'll touch base for our next date."

Gabe sighed. "Moot point now anyway, right" He pointed out. And the coffee, for both of them, had gone mostly un-drunk. That was the power of a compelling conversation.
Or a girl in your lap.
"Well, thank you for the courtesy." He said, giving her a wan smile. He wasn't sure he could handle meeting her parents so soon in the, er, relationship. Which was clearly what it was, good god. What was he getting himself into?
He took the sheet with her phone number. "I'll call you, I promise." He said. "Er, would you like my number?" He asked. It was polite to exchange, right?

"Oh well." She grinned. Vyth hadn't really cared much about the coffee drinking that they were suppose to be doing. It was just a way to breaking that ice. A tactful ploy.
"You better or I will have to hunt you down. And I know what school you go to." Her grin grew wider, but she was serious. If he didn't call...well. "Ah yes!" She handed him the pen and paper. Though honestly she could just having him say it and enter it into her phone right now. But whatever. If something happened to her phone at least she'd have a hard copy of his number.
