Chuckling, "Feisty little thing aren't you." The sound of water slapping stone came to ear, accompanied by the sound of gulls. Each foot fall echoed on the wooden planks as they walked and up ahead Duo could hear voices calling to him. From a ship several figures waved down at him, "And here we are. She's not much to look at, but she's one heck of a ship and gives a smooth ride out on the waves."

She chuckles slightly and nods, then looks around at the sound of voices calling out to Duo. Looking around, she spots several figures on a ship waving in their direction. "I think it's a nice looking ship, honestly."

He grinned, "Well glad you think so. You're welcome to come hang out here. Just let me know when you'll be popping by." From the ship "Hey pretty lady! Woooooo!" "Hey!" Duo barked, "She's with me. Show the lady some respect."

She pretends not to notice the catcalls coming from the ship, although she chuckles lightly at Duo barking out at the others for doing so. "I'll definitely call before I stop by. You may have extended the invitation, but I wouldn't want to just show up out of the blue on you. That would be rude and inconsiderate."

Looking back to her from glaring at the men on the ship, "Sorry about that. Those sea dogs don' t know how to treat a lady." Grinning brightly, "Sounds like a plan. Atleast until the knuckle heads know well enough I'd hurt them if they mess with you." Extending a paw, "Care to go aboard?"

Serina grins a bit at that, tilting her head slightly. "Think it'll take em long to figure that out, Duo?" She chuckles a bit, then nods at his offer to go aboard the ship. "I'd love to."

"Eh. Some of them can be pretty dense. But they aren't bad guys." Walking up the ramp that led to the ship he couldn't take his eyes off her.

While walking up the ramp with Duo, Serina allows her eyes to wander over the ship, taking everything in. She did really like what she saw with the ship, no matter how bad the ship might look to other people. "Oh, I wasn't trying to imply they were bad guys or anything." She says with a grin.

"Eh?" when he understood what she meant, "Oh! no no no. I mean bad in like.. their... personalities." Getting to the top of the ramp he grinned to her, "And here m'lady we have the top deck. This is where we pull the wreckage up so we can see what treasures we've found."

She grins a bit at his reply. "I'm sure their personalities are something I can handle. Things'll be fine, I'm sure." She looks around the top deck, eyes lighting up a bit at the thought of possibly being able to help with their work. "This is amazing!"

Giving his coy grin, "Yeah, I like to think so We are supposed to be going out on a salvage run tomorrow morning. If you like, I bet I could pull some strings and have it so you could join us."

Serina turns to look at Duo at that, tilting her head a bit. "Are you sure? That'd be amazing, but I don't want you to get in trouble or anything." She said, wanting to make absolutely sure it was going to be okay for her to be there. She'd also decided to herself that if this did work out, she'd tell her father Barnaby, but not Kotetsu. Father Kotetsu would go into over-protective daddy mode, and that was something Serina didn't really want to deal with. Barnaby, however, was usually more level-headed than his mate.
