Reaching up and rubbing his head for a moment, he nodded to Jaron that had stepped inside. “Well… besides a massive headache, I think my mind and body are still recovering from the genin exam spar I was in. Hard to believe I‘ve been out for 2 weeks, almost three from my understanding.“ Makoto Answered with a smile on his face, pointing out a chair next to his bed. Offering him a seat so that he would be comfortable, Regard of standing up and stuff. “How are you doing?” Asked Makoto, wanting to know how he and his family was.

Jaron smiled as he listened to the boy. He hadn't personally been under the effects of a genjutsu but, he had heard nothing but, horrible things about it. Too be honest he was a little scared of the whole concept or anyone that used it as their tool. He looked at Makoto as he asked how he was."I am good. I had a talk with the family and they agree with me on something." He decided that this was a good time to ask Makoto. "Makoto. My family and I would like to adopt you and you can live in my house. We figured since you are my pupil and since you don't have any family you could come live with us until you wanted to leave and make your own family." Jaron smiled as he got it out and hoped that Makoto wouldn't take it the wrong way but it was out in the open now and he couldn't take it back.

It was about him being adopted into Jaron’s family, this made his perk up in surprise and shock. Jaron had offered makoto a new family to live with, a new house over his head and new people to see everyday. This offer made makoto feel strange, it was sadness… He had lost his family and spent a lot of time at the forge rather than with his family, A family he blamed himself for letting them die. But the civil war broke out suddenly, a lot of sudden deaths happened and even an attempt was made on his… but he was lucky that he got an old friend to help him out. With a sigh of relief, makoto nodded to the idea. “That sounds…Nice, thank you Jaron.” Thanked Makoto with a smile as he started thinking, he had a lot to do before he moved in. “There is a lot of things in my old house I have not touched or moved since the civil war, so my house is still full of stuff I need to go through. Even the small box of personal belongings from my old parents, the day they were buried. With Team training as well, It may take a while but… Do you mind giving my time to collect everything I need for my new life? “

Jaron smiled as Makoto said yes. Jaron smiled a bit wider as Makoto asked for time to pack up his things. Makoto you have all of the time you need. However, if you need help I have my own kids that should have no problem helping and I'll even shut down the forge for a little to help. I have a question though. What are you going to do with your house? Sell it? You can't just leave it, unless of course you want it for later use. Then you'd have to make sure it was clean and all that. Jaron smiled as he thought that the boy might want to keep the house for when he had his own family.

With that being done, he started to listen to the support he would be getting if he needed it… even closing down the forge for abit to help was unreal. But he was willing to do that? Jaron was a good man. But the Biggest question came… the house itself, He had an entire house full of stuff to himself. More than the stuff he needed, but he was going to decide that later… it’s what he needed the time for. “I… don’t know. But I can’t leave it the way it is, So I’m going to need to think it over. Maybe give you the deed until I’m old enough to came it as my own, I need time to think everything through.”

Jaron nodded and stood up. He smiled at Makoto. It's good to see you but, I have to get back to the forge. I'll see you later and if you need help don't be afraid to come and ask. I'll see you in a couple days if you don't decide to get out soon. Jaron nodded and went to the door. He then opened it and left the room without saying anything else. He then left the hospital but, first he signed out the time that he had left like he was supposed to.

It was the only way he could make money for his family, but makoto was starting to get familiar with the forge as well. So he would be a great help to the family, also he had a lot on his mind to think about. The house, the items, the ideas of a better tomorrow, how he was going to train on the fields after he was out of the hospital… but most importantly, his future. It was getting close to either breakfast or lunch, so he was really hungry by this point as well. Reaching over for the first aid book this time, makoto would start to read it for a better understanding… hopefully it was readable now.

He must have been really messed up I he could not read a word from the book, placing the book down and sighing to himself. He was really having a bad day, the headache meds were not helping. He needed to eat soon, but he was willing to wait. But for now he needed to make sure everything was okay, so he was not going to think… just help with some mental healing.

The nurse was making her rounds again but, this time she was delivering food to the patients. It was about lunch time so it was pretty much time to feed the patients. The nurse went to Makoto's room and she brought the cart inside the room. She then went to a table in the room and started to set up the food. It was just a sandwich and some water but, it was the best they could do right now. The nurse put the sandwich on the plate and got a couple pills for the headache. She put this all on a tray so in total there was a glass of water, a sandwich and some pills. The nurse smiled and she walked it over to Makoto and gently set it on his lap. "Here you go Makoto. This should be much better then what you've been eating." The nurse smiled and looked at the boy. "Is there anything else that you need? Some more water perhaps?"

He watched as the nurse set up his food and bringing it over to him, makoto realized that it was a sandwich with water and pills. It was better than the tube stuff they had feed him when he out for 2 weeks, but still… he could not help but feel, off about this and everything. But makoto was not a greedy kid, he just simply smile to her as she asked if he needed anything else. “No thank you, this is perfect. “ Spoke makoto as he took his medicine with his water, sighing with fresh water finally going down his throat. Tilting his head left and right for a moment to pop his neck, makoto spoke to her again with a question. “ If I might ask, Can you tell me todays date? And time? “

The nurse smiled as the boy said that he didn't want anything else. She thought that this was nice of the boy. She went to the cart and opened a tray. She pulled out a clip board and wrote down that she had given the boy some more medicine, a sandwich and some water. She listed as the boy asked for the date and time and she turned towards him, It's thursday and almost 12 pm. She smiled and continued to fill out the clipboard with the time and date of all of the things that she had given the boy. She then put the clipboard back in the tray and closed it. The nurse produced a key out of her pocket and she locked the tray into place. She smiled and she knew that all of her stuff was done for now and that she had to get to the other patients in her wing. She pushed the cart to the door and turned towards Makoto, "Call if you need anything. " Then she smiled at Makoto and left the room.

He was going to make it last as long as he could, chewing it slowly before placing the sandwich down and reaching for the book on survival yet again. Chewing his food while he opened the book again, he suddenly had a realization… the words were a lot better and understandable now. He opened to the first page as he started reading the book more clearly now, it was getting better now than it did that morning. He started reading the basics of information survival, like reading his surrounds. Surrounding are vitally important, this was true in makoto’s case. Since he has been threw everywhere in the Oto, he know this was important. What he didn’t know was that if he looked closely, it said that there was always going to be some story. This rained true as well for makoto, because he sort of noticed things like that while doing survival. But he was really interested on the back ground story, like a hidden mine or a piece of forgotten weaponry left behind by bandits. This book was interesting and intriguing in so many ways, he just had to read more to know what was going to be said. After all… most books were right and true, so he swallowed and continued to read. The book listed a lot of trees and had facts, usages, and a guide to how and use them. Interesting to learn considering that there was a lot of research that seemed to have went into this book, but he started to memorize what woods from trees were best at making wooden weapons like a staff or a bokken. This was going to be useful information if they were to ever run out of throwing items or arrows, he would have the knowledge of what trees to look for and how tough they were. So far the book was great, but makoto could not help but place the book down for a moment to continue chewing. The sandwich was not much but it was better than nothing, but more to the point was the trees and the data he was collecting about them. He had a small list of good tree that he thought would make perfect substitutes if the forge was ever looking to expand, but there were a lot of tree types out there from what he read. Regardless he was going to continue and do his research accordingly on the subject of trees, he wanted to be wiser and more in touch with nature. This time he was reading up about more trees, with more uses and referring them to the small list he had collected as proper woods for crafting. It was interesting to read up on something other than jutsus and text book that placed his to sleep faster in minutes, but then again he was slightly getting tired himself already. Still he was interested in learning more about the trees, like a specific tree that had lot of durability… so it could knock out more people than the average bokken, or a strong, light weight one for faster strikes with impressive damage.
