Aragosnat Eol the Dark Elf starlit_jewel Eol the Dark Elf Hehe, I have a northern California accent. I hella say 'dude' and 'hella' all the time. It's true wink Dude. I say 'dude' on a daily basis and I'm not even American. How screwed is that?! @Pain and Aragosnat: Le Gasp! (Look I can gasp in French!) I resent the accustion! wink Lol! Haha, I guess you can blame Hollywood and the media for that. Owell, I think it's hella cool to say 'dude' xd Holly-wood certainly as made an impact on how people talk. Some for the better and well. Some we just have to wonder why people have to talk like that. People like to talk in a way that sets them apart from other people. People with interesting voices get more people to listen to them. Turn on any radio station and the dj's will have odd or unusual voices, especially the girls. But eva is right, we say dude a ton here in Michigan.

Lol, I actually get most of my vocabulary from my brother. He started saying 'People! People!' while in a group to get their attention then I started doing that too. Then he goes 'Okay okay woman!' then as soon as it came out of my mouth I was like eek

Meormorilla Lol, I actually get most of my vocabulary from my brother. He started saying 'People! People!' while in a group to get their attention then I started doing that too. Then he goes 'Okay okay woman!' then as soon as it came out of my mouth I was like eek I tend to adopt the speaking habits of the person I'm talking to. If I'm talking to them for more than ten minutes, we sound like the same person. I don't do it on purpose, and no one else seems to have noticed, so, oh well!
