When Eisheth came back nothing apparently has changed. For a while Eisheth was studying the bats: big and small, adults and hatchlings, some of them were hanging with their heads aimed to the ground; some were whining and squeaking. Actually, the alchemist figured out, the bats are interesting creatures: bigger and more dangerous than the insects, yet not as vulnerable as the birds, they could hunt down the prey or feed the babies with the same type of natural calmness.
Walking back to Stubbles and the globe she decided she simply has to adopt one of them: she was only observing the surface, but there was a lot to study inside! Suddenly, her attention was caught by Gun Show who required some help in cleaning Batty's dentures. Eisheth shrugged: not that she was an expert in cleaning, to be honest, she actually cleaned anything rarely, but why not. She picked the tooth brush from the can nearby, and started to scrub. Unfortunately, - not for the alchemist, but for Batty, - her lack of skills was too obvious. She simply put too much efforts and pressure, and the result - one of the teeth - was lying on the horseman's palm now.
Eisheth didn't seem to be disappointed, though: the tooth would work perfectly for one of her bone beads.

..on her way back, Eisheth decided to visit Stubbles again. Not that she got any new ideas about Batty's location, but one can always try, correct?... Without thinking a lot, - it won't help this time anyway, - she pointed at random place on a globe. For a moment she even considered she succeeded, but Stubbles' reaction left her doubtless: she appeared to be so wrong, it wasn't even funny. However, merciful bat gods were kind to her: Stubbles disappeared for a moment to come back with a tiny chilled tart on a beautiful tissue. She nodded to the creature politely, and took the prize; it was incredibly touchy.

Though she dearly loved her own super pink booth, Belladonna needed a break from all that sugary cuteness. And what better way to fix that with bats? She absolutely adored bats! They were so cute and fluffy and d'awww, there were so many! The witch wanted to hug them, but she had to ask permission first. Unfortunately the owner of the booth was no where to be found. Lips pursed, the witch wandered a little further into the booth, but was stopped by a bat who seemed to be looking for something. "Whatever are you looking for, precious little thing?" Belladonna asked as she drew closer to Stubbles. Oh! There was a globe nearby! Maybe this was supposed to be a game? With a devious smile, the witch set the globe spinning, placed a hand over her eyes and then pointed at a location.
Though she waited until she heard the globe stop its noisy spinning, the witch opened her eyes and found her finger pointed at... The middle of an ocean? Oh. There wasn't even an island nearby. Disappointed clearly written on her face, she turned to look at Stubbles, whose head was held high. For a moment the witch was excited, hoping she had found his master, but the little bat only flitted off. Belladonna let her shoulder slump for a moment in defeat, but just as quick as he was off, Stubbles had returned. With a prize for her! A bat prize! With a coo the witch gratefully took it, before she gave Stubbles a little pet on the head. "Thank you for your help!" She told him with a smile.

But before she could fully leave the booth, a bat all swaddled up in a blanket caught the witch's eye. "You look so comfy, cozy!" She cooed to him, one hand pressed to her cheek. This booth was full of absolutely adorable creatures! And just as she was going to reach out and pet this one, it flitted up and out of its blanket, joined a small group of bats, paused for a moment and then shot off. "A race?! Ah! I chose the cream one!" Belladonna shouted as the little group raced off. And the little cream did pretty well, but it just wasn't as fast as the little covered up bat that was no longer all swaddled up. As if to show his prowess, the little bat flitted back to the witch and resumed his curled up under his blanket position. "Good show..." Belladonna offered, a little sour at Hubes' little tongue that poked out at her.

Kwasi was never much good with guessing games. Or really, anything that involved too much complex thinking. He didn't even know why he was poking about in this booth. I mean what kind of prizes could you win from a load of bats? But he had blurted out the first foreign sounding place that had come to his mind, and the bat hadn't seemed to disagree, so whatever works right? He caught the token happily and decided to stick around, try out the rest of the games here.

STRIKE Ok, this was more like it. Throwing balls at stuff, yeah!! They were kind of small but whatever. Kwasi could get behind this game. He hurled the ball through the air a few times before they managed to explain to him that he had to roll it across the ground. It was kind of a let down, but he managed to get one pin over that way in the end.

fly my pretties Awww what, no way. That was seriously the slowest bat Kwasi had ever seen. What was he even doing in the race? Not even staying to watch the end of the race, Kwasi barely even stuck around for the half way mark, he was so let down by the bat he had picked out.

Arriving at the last game, Kwasi hesitated. Could foxfires breathe water? Were those balls of fur still moving? Tilting his head to one side, he reached out to poke one and got the promised wingslap. It looked like there was no other way, he'd have to check ... with his teeth.
And no dice. Wiping the water from his face, he hovered around the game for a little longer, until he was chased off for loitering by an irate bat. Hey, he was just concerned for the safety of the minipets involved!

The bat appeared to be cleaning something at the next booth which Phil peered over to try and examine further. To avoid having his bodily fluids potentially taken from him, the mothman opted to play the bat's game. Or at least help him clean the teeth off that it seemed to diligently be scrubbing away at. What sort of game was this? ...
Armed with a polishing cloth similar to what he'd use on his lenses, Phil squeaked the material around the fangs. Keeping a very close eye on each tooth, he made sure that he did not p***k himself in the process; sharp teeth like these were terribly dangerous. What if he were to fall face-first into them?
Upon shining completion, Phil offered up the teeth to Gun Show who saluted him. For a moment, the boil was worried the batling would fly into his hair, but instead it just walked away wearing the dentures. This was his oddest Amity experience yet.

batty sandiegoPhil looked further around the booth. There were lots more bats, but no student or adult manning the place it seemed. One bat looked to be interested in the whereabouts of his master as well. It was even a sort of game. "Want me to guess where they are? O-okay." Thinking harder on the possible whereabouts of this older fellow, the boil tried to think relatively logically about it. "Are they in the lavatory?" The bat frowned back at him. He couldn't understand why; it was perfectly possible that they had bowel movements if they ate. If they ate, it had to exit at some point. Despite what Phil realized must've been a loss, the bat offered up to him a bell; it looked old. Quote: 21-60 : You picked a completely different location than Stubbles. He is frowning as hard as he can. You win nothing... no, wait... you win an Old Memorable Bell.

STRIKE
Feeling more confident that these bats weren't going to drain him of his fluids, Phil moved on to the next game. This was suspiciously dangerous looking, but nonetheless, he observed the gameplay involved. Tiny ball was flung at the tiny pins. Mostly, the boil was aiming to not have the ball land straight downwards onto his feet and thusly wasn't all that accurate with his throw. Three pins fell after a moment of rattling about undecidedly.
It was actually one of the most accomplished attempts he'd had at throwing anything to date. He ruffled his feathers with pride.

Next was a game of gambling. Gambling was dangerous and could possibly put one into financial debt! Bitting his lip at the probability of becoming addicted, Phil reluctantly placed a bet. It was fine so long as he played once and didn't bet his house and/or body parts.
When the race began, the bat he'd bet on chose to strut down the way instead of run. Someone had obvious ego issues and wanted to show off just how big his wings were rather than apply himself to speed. It looked like this was going to be a no-go.

As Phil approached the next batling game, he locked eyes with the bat handling it. A piercing look was shot his way when Phil tried to touch one of the balls within the basket to see what it was, producing a yelp in surprise at the bat's stare. It didn't look too pleased at all by his being there or touching them.
He slowly backed away before it decided to bit him. Phil turned on his heels at first chance, escaping the potential wrath of the bat.

Rhiannon regarded the booth in amusement. A booth maned by bats, this she had to check out.
Checking out the games she decided to try the guessing game first.
She named the first location that came to her. Apparently she should have thought about it a bit longer as the bat didn't look happy. Taking her bell she went to check out the other games.

batty sandiegoQuote: 61-90 : Stubbles perks up at your guess! You're... so very, very wrong. But the bat just remembered he had some extra tarts lying around in the back. He flaps away, returning with a tiny chilled pastry on a fancy napkin. As cute as it is, you probably don't want to eat that. You win a Batty Tart. Draven found himself in front of the booth with all the bats. Hm. He wondered how that little bat with the globe was getting along. So, he wandered in to check. "Has your master returned yet, little bat?" The bat gave little response, though Draven hadn't known if he should have expected one. Though it seemed almost as though the bat was expecting something from him. Hrm...Draven looked at the globe for a moment. "How about here? Is this where your master has gone off too?" He was pointing at a spot on the globe he was sure the bat had just been looking at. It was a land called New Zealand, and Draven had never heard of it. The bat looked happy about something. Draven beamed. He must have guessed something right! And then the bat flew right out of the room. Oh, well then. Draven's ego instantly fell. He must not have guessed anything right. The bat was clearly happy about something els-- "Oh, hey! Thanks!" The bat had come flappy back in with a...a tart. "Thank you very much!" Draven was grinning again as exited, being careful not to damage the adorable little tart on it's pretty little napkin. What a neat gift. That little bat might be odd, but Draven quite liked the little guy. ((Edit* SN: GrnGriff))
