Candace frowned as Dakota decided he'd go for a house instead of a safe dorm in the building with everyone else. Where it was safe. She didn't like the houses, they were too far away from everything and while sometimes they may have been a very welcome thing around here it was also dangerous considering those houses were destroyed on a bi-weekly basis. "You sure~? The dorms can get pretty cozy. And a house is more responsibility than just a couple rooms." She was trying to politely show her disapproval. She didn't like the idea at all. It was bad enough Gale had been so determined...

Her frown disappeared, replaced with a cocky grin when Dakota asked if she'd seen herself. Of course she'd seen herself. Yes, she agreed she was hot. How nice of you to remind her, Dakota. Good boy. "Thank ya kindly. I'm actually pretty pleased you're recognizing more than my appearance." Dakota was just getting himself all kinds of points today. Would they get him anywhere right now? Most likely not. He was still too young in her eyes for more than cuddling and maybe a few kisses. Time would tell if he got anything more than that.

The surprise made her tense with worry. Did she go too far? Did he not want her doing this? But...why wouldn't he want her on his lap?! This was Dakota and even he had just said..was it just...he wasn't expecting it? That made more sense. It wasn't like he was a stranger to women, she knew of this already, but at least he agreed to stay. She smiled and reached up to playfully tap his nose. "So you won't leave unless I tell you to? Ohhhh, that sounds like a challenge~. I've quite enjoyed your company today, Dakota. I don't see myself getting tired of you soon." Her hand dropped to tap at her smiling lips. "I think you deserve a reward for being such a good boy today though, hmmm~?"

He was determined. Candace had to force her smile to stay on her face. "Oh, I see." Was there no changing his mind? Maybe with time...who knew when that dragon would be gone. She really didn't like the idea of him or Gale out there.

When asked what his reward was Candace fell quiet, pouting her lips thoughtfully and looking up at the boy. "I guess you can have a kiss. A real one this time, not just one on the cheek. The only catch is I don't feel like getting up." She stated very seriously, even going as far as shifting on Dakota's lap to make herself more comfortable where she was. If he wanted a kiss he'd have to come down and get it.

Candace wasn't often a patient woman, especially when it came to things she was asking someone to do to her, but this was a time where she would be patient. She'd be a good girl and wait for Dakota's answer..a very pleasing one. She wasn't surprised. Candace smiled, lifting her head enough to return the kiss. A very..short kiss...

A tame kiss.

Well, she had to give Dakota points for being a gentleman and not assuming she wanted more than that. When he sat up again Candace hummed quietly and nodded, looking playfully disappointed now that the kiss was over. "I suppose...but is that all I get~?" He'd said he was staying until she got tired of him. Did he really think they'd be talking the entire time? That was sweet. He really was maturing.
