Chrome looked out the window of the Inn's Lobby. It was a cozy place run out of a large three story house on the corner across from the Pokemon Center and down the street to the Gym. The one-eyed male couldn't see the pathway to the lakes which wound itself behind the Pokemon Center. Looking around he took everything in. It was set up so that a living/common room was splayed out on your right before a fireplace, currently light to keep wet travelers warm. While on your left was another sitting area to relax, with the stairs leading up overshadowing it. A long front desk, with a door leading to what seemed like from sounds was the kitchen. A small dinning area was set off to the right side of the desk.

"Nothing worth stealing...too plain..." he thought looking around at the homely set up. He looked forward to Becca, wondering vaugely why the girl found him so interesting. Walking up to the front desk, a small kind elderly woman sitting behind it, he smiled.

"My companion and I need a room for the night..." Chrome said politely.

"Fufufu, young couples these days are so formal about everything...we have three rooms, deary." the elderly woman said with a weezy chuckle.

"A single bed is all that's required, my dear lady." Chrome replied smoothly, paying barely any attention to whatever reaction Becca had. The elderly woman nodded and handed him a key. Taking it with a nod of thanks after paying, Chrome walked to the stairs leading up. "Becca, our rooms on the third floor. No need to be shy..."

He smirked, the firelight from the fireplace dancing in his single eye.

Chrome chuckled as he sat his black backpack down, taking out a container with few meat buns and oringi's he offered Becca some, "Here...don't worry they're not poisoned..I made these before I left Hoenn."

He brought out his pokemon, "Pup! Seedling! Time for food guys..."

The two Pokemon looked at the human with big eyes, Chrome shook his head as he brought out a small bowl for Pup and laid out a napkin for Seedling. Placing Poke-food for both down he sat back and waited to see their reactions. He flashed Becca a coy smile...

"Houn~!" "Seed~!" the two choursed together, Chrome chuckled.

"Glad to see you two like it...and you Becca? What do you think?" he asked fixing her in his one eye's view.

Seedling Lvl.08

Chrome nodded, "Yes...My parents weren't clean-cut. I have triplet elder brothers, an elder sister, two younger brothers, a younger sister and then...the twins. I'm here searching for them...they were...everything. I didn't get to be around most of my younger siblings because my parents constantly seemed to be apart. When the divorce was final, it was only me and the twins that were left in the house...Father took the twins. Then left me in the Hoenn Desert...with this eye-patch and nothing else."

The human had sat on the floor against the foot of the bed, both arms resting on his knees. In one hand was the eye-patch, the other hung limp. He never turned his head as Becca was on his left and he'd like to keep it that way.

Pup and Seedling had both looked up and slowly stopped eating as they saw their Trainer's face fully. Pup blinked before going over and licking his Trainer's limp hand before looking back to dash to Viper.

"Hound?" (What's wrong with you?) he padded to a stop beside her.

Chrome glanced to her, "They were somehow brought here...i've already made a deal with someone for information. I have three months to get the intel...I can get it in three weeks. One of my younger brothers, Zircon actually turned against our parents and is a straight-laced kid. Wants to become a Cop so he can keep all of us in line..."

Pup looked back before looking up at the sky, "Houn..oun. Dour, dour. Houndour! Hound." (She seems upset to me...and Human's are all liars. Take mine for example, he taught me a new move personally! Eve if he was mean at first..)

Chrome chuckled, "No...he's back in Hoenn. Sorting out the mess that is what remains of our family...really the boy does a lot."

Pup turned with a snarl, "Houndour! Hound...Hound...Dour!" (You're an idiot! Humans need us...as much as we need them...i've seen things!) "Hound...houn...n...dour!" (These creeps that take Pokemon who turn their backs on humans...they take them...and...well all I gotta say is Spirit Tower!)

Chrome watched as Viper left, Pup's anger something of amusement to the Human. Pup barked after the foolish Grass type, "HOUNDOUR!" (Fine, dumbass go get captured!)

Chrome snapped the fingers on his right hand, the eye-patch back in place. The Houndour looked back and trotted alongside its human as Chrome stood, Becca in his arms. Laying her down on the bed he made sure the lighter blanket covered her. Chrome stripped off his vest, tie and shirt to pile them at the foot of the bed. He pulled Pup, Seedling and Chic to the pile and draped his jacket over them.

"We'll worry about Viper in the morning...right now. Rest, she'll see her error, just watch..." Chrome told them quietly. He walked over to the open window, sitting in the sill he sat there his tribal tattoo over his right shoulder and pectoral as well as the dragon on his right arm illuminated by the moon. A mulit-colored pendant glistened in the light...

The snake pokemon darted, she just kept running and running until she couldn't anymore. She panted, then climbed up a tree. Stupid girl..thinking she could enslave and brainwash me. Hmmph.. She looked to see the Mammut Lakes. I'll go there, and be free. I don't need anyone... She crawled down and headed towards the lakes.
