"Monsters don't scare me... not as much as chemistry or the nuns. Don't worry... I'll stay as far away from them as possible," Gwen said when he expressed his concerns, and though she had only known him for a few months, she knew to take him seriously. She didn't want to belittle him for expressing something that most guys would have been hesitant to show in fear of it being deemed weak, so she refrained from cracking any jokes or making light of the situation. As a civilian, it was best to avoid youma anyway, and in her current state, it was probably best for her senshi self to avoid them if at all possible.

At least until she mastered that killer left hook.

Then those youma better head for the hills. Along with their Negaverse 'masters' and the Dark Mirror Court. She spread her legs apart and began swinging at air, trying her best to mimic the motions she had seen Jett do effortlessly. Before she got too far into it, she flashed Jett a smile. "Thanks. For the lessons and the interesting story. They're going to help me a lot!"

Knowledge of how to properly throw a punch, as well as some Intel on an event before her time, yes. Both of those would help her immensely, and she was determined that no more civilians would be dragged into such a battle again. 'This is a fight between Order and Chaos... people like Jett and so many others shouldn't get caught in the crossfires.'

Gwen didn't want it to show, but she was getting tired by the time Jett mentioned a rest, and she gave an annoyed huff in hopes of hiding her fatigue. Chances are, Jett would see right through it, but it didn't stop Gwen from keeping up her eager-to-please demeanor as she lowered her arms back to her side. 'I wasn't even hitting anything and I'm tired... either I'm out of shape or I need to show more respect to boxers now.'

It was likely the latter, as her senshi duties would not allow for such laziness. It was simply something she'd have to keep at until it became routine, but the payoff would definitely be worth it if it meant to punch her enemy in the face and NOT hurt herself in the process.

"I'm going to need a warm bath to soak in after this... but it was fun," Gwen admitted, wiping the sweat from her brow and finally seeming to catch her breath. She felt strong, now, but she knew that the moment she got home, her already exhausted body would likely revolt against her, so it was best for her to hurry back home before it had the chance to happen. "Not to mention a good stress relief. I definitely look forward to a match later, but promise me that you won't hold anything back. I want to beat you at your absolute best!"

She gave a confident grin, one that only she was capable of, before grabbing her bags with her good hand and making her way towards the door. Perhaps she was getting ahead of herself in thinking she stood a chance against Jett when it came to boxing, but she was certain that once her arm healed, she'd at least be able to put up a good fight. 'Soon I'll box the socks off of my opponents...'
