Maybe we should just tick to having sly plays on the character's names, then. Maybe, but you guys go ahead and do as you like. I'll just be a nonspecific dragon. KuroKageHane I went to Google and typed 'synonyms for black' because I'm a nerd like that. and perhaps we could be Sinister Desires Cafe if Black Desires is too redundant or if you think it's already taken.~

KuroKageHane If we stuck with one theme, it would be a bit redundant. I think there should be a theme for each a season and with each new season that comes, a new theme arrives. We could also revisit themes if we run out of theme ideas as well. I like the cards idea (Shugo Chara reference. FTW), but wouldn't that be kind of saying that 'so and so' has more power than 'so and so' in a way? I don't know about you guys, but equality is something I'd like to see~ Elements and gods kind of restrict themes (I think) . . . we could try it though. Precious stones . . . . maybe as a decoration? Or *whatever genius idea you have here*~ Was going to write something else, but I forgot it. .___.
Edit:Now I remember! Members! We need more people to play as maids b/c Amu is already having her own harem if we don't get more! XD And how many people are we going to have as a max? We can't have 5 thousand butlers and maids y'know. eek
I had meant one theme that will help us with the personalities and the names of the butlers, but as for Anoning and butler-ing and (primarily) for events, then the seasonal themes.
Well, it's true that the cards might give off a hierarchical feel, but I don't think we should mind that much, it does add something to the atmosphere. Kinda like some sort of army of glamour~ cat_xp "Command us, Your Majesty." emotion_awesome Yeah those are restrictive, but I thought of those because yeah, they give us anchors of a sort of the characters. And yes, I was thinking of decoration precious stones too cat_3nodding
As for members...right now we have five, right? I think that's a good enough number, it's usually how many boys there are in a bishounen band emotion_awesome Then we max out at seven?

Seiji-ojisan I like the idea of a theme. Cards would be good since there's a lot of them and we wouldn't feel bound to a certain amount of people. 3nodding We could each have our own calling card (Ace of Clubs, Queen of Hearts, Jack of Spades, Deuce of Diamonds, etc.), and clients could pick the card of the butler/maid they want. As for the name... If Darkest Desires is used too much, we could go with the Japanese title Kurai Yokubõ Cafe, or we could call it Black Desires Butler Cafe Kuro Yokubõ Shitsuji Cafe (I don't really know Japanese, so may be off with the grammar) as kind of a nod to Black Butler. Or in reference to cards, Black Jack Cafe... Good assonance and alliteration in that one, of course it also kind of makes it sound like a gambling joint... sweatdrop

Okay, first of all: I'm shleepy so I might not sound coherent. You have been warned emotion_awesome
I'd thought that having just one maid (i.e. Amu) would be best, because HAREM emotion_kirakira But if any other maids come by, since Amu will be the sexy type, we could take in a cute type too.
Themes. What I meant was one main theme running through all of us so we stay uniform (in place of an actual uniform, since of course everyone will want to dress their butler differently) and also for the butler-y feel--we are bound to serve the lady, not ourselves. Also a main theme would be basis for the character. The danger in that is we might get too predictable, but since we're all such awesome Anons ourselves I'm pretty sure we can avoid that trap cat_4laugh
Name. Yesh, I never thought of using just the Japanese name Amu suggested. I'm fine with that then emotion_yatta Anyone else in favour, say "Aye!" ^o^/)

Like how your butler has a split personality, so you might have the Deuce (2) of Hearts/Spades/whatever you want. Keaton is Devious so she could be a Knave/Jack. The different suits might speak to what kind of creeper you are too. Like Spades if you're a sadist, Clubs if you're a masochist, Hearts if you prefer typical seduction, or whatever. These are just suggestions, bare in mind. ^^ It's a bit more generic that way. And I'm not too keen on naming ourselves after gods either. Considering we're butlers, thereby servants, it doesn't seem all that fitting. And if someone else wants to be a maid, we should let them. I don't know about the others, but I for one, want to think of this as a cafe/host club for other creepers. Not your harem. >n<;;

I'd more of an idea that since there weren't as many maids, they'd be more of a draw, perhaps. I'd not stop anyone from becoming a maid if they really wanted to be in the RP....or be in the RP, for that matter....unless they were a known problem-causer.

XD Unless we get like....ten butlers and then I'd say we need a second maid. Well, I was meaning as a theme for basing the personalities of the butlers and maid....have it be that all of these mythical characters are working together in the cafe and often they have a theme to that section of time's services. XD Well then what's the point of it being a "butler and maid" cafe if there is a majority of butlers then? It's a bit unfair for the guys that want to be served by a maid but can't because of the small amount of maids that we have. And plus, it will take a load off of your back when serving guys. Think about all of those guys that will quote you just to get your attention. eek

Well I was looking at the forums and there was one thread called "Granted Items" so I clicked on it~ Technically the thread gives links to granted items or gold within Gaia and all of it is free~ (no joke either~) So there was this one that said "Gender Bender Potion" so I clicked on it and there went one of my Gender Bender Potions that you can for free. sweatdrop
