Vidarr considers his family his "pack," where his father is the alpha male and he and his siblings are young subordinates [whom he will consider betas remains to be seen through RP and it's possible he will see all his siblings and their eventual mates as betas]. He's very protective of his pack and is not welcoming to outsiders, even if his family members assure him that the outsiders can be trusted. He admires his father, considering him to be a strong individual, having raised four children on his own in a very kind manner when the kids were dumped on him, especially when Vidarr turned out be more than his father bargained for. He treats his siblings well, behaving around them and putting a great deal of effort to controlling his more savage instincts, believing them to be pure and good, striving for their tranquility [least they are more tranquil than he]. He bears some ill will towards his mother for deserting the pack, considering her weak for abandoning her role as the alpha female of the pack [though he would probably be surprised that his mother did not know she was a mother to begin with].
As a kit, Vidarr is more uncontrollable and vicious. He only knows his instincts and urges; the need to feed on flesh is so strong he will kill without thought. He is hostile in his youth till one day he hurts someone either accidentally or intentionally and then feels guilty for doing so because he doesn't have a good answer to why he hurt the other [this would be a kit plot~]. After this point, Vidarr's ultimate goal will be to control his feral compulsions [I intend for him to go to his father and siblings for help on this matter as they teach him how to be kinder]. Because of this, he will be very close to his family and hold very high opinions of those who look beyond the fact that he is a werewolf. He will be subject to a tumultuous youth, constantly working against his werewolf behavior, learning how to be more in control of himself.
As an adult, he will be more aware and commanding of his savage urges, remaining close to his family and the lands he considers to be theirs. In general, he will be very restless, always moving, whether that be walking, scratching, twitching, chewing, et cetera. He is very conscious of his inclinations, working very hard against them. If he feels like he is going to lose control, he simply leaves and goes on a hunt. He hunts to keep himself sated, and one can frequently find him stalking big game out in the lands close to his family's den. I imagine that he will be a quiet, reclusive adult, hesitant to approach others out of fear that his feral instincts will take command and he may hurt others, for he does not want to be subject to his natural proclivities to violence, bloodshed, and feeding, after all, he is only part werewolf and can either choose to control it or let it control him. He is not perfect, however, and is prone to succumb to those urges every now and then. He will have a hard time accepting the fact that he is stuck in this form where other werewolves still have a "normal" mode, though he continues to attempt to control the wolf he is. [I intend for him to seek out his other werewolf family members to see how their fare with the family curse and have him attempt to find his mother for her opinions on werewolves, as she did grow up with them.]
As his name suggests, ultimately he will dominate the ferocious wolf, conquering it.
